Chapter 1: Introduction
The city lights flickered through the window of the bustling bar, casting a kaleidoscope of colors that danced on Mallory's skin. She sat at the corner booth, her olive complexion glowing under the soft lighting, a glass of Merlot swirling in her hand. Her almond-shaped brown eyes scanned the room, taking in the vibrant energy of the crowd. It had been years since she last stepped into a place like this, yet the rhythmic pulse of the music and the clinking of glasses felt familiar and comforting.
"Another round, Mallory?" The bartender, a burly man with an infectious smile, leaned against the counter.
Mallory flashed him a grin and placed her glass on the bar. "You know what they say, darling. One more for the road."
As he poured her refill, Mallory's gaze drifted back to the crowd. She spotted a tall, dark figure making his way towards her. Her heart skipped a beat, and her smile widened as she recognized the familiar stride.
Theo approached, his confident gait commanding the room. He leaned in, offering a charming smile that was as much a part of him as his deep, velvety voice.
"Mallory, as I live and breathe. You're looking as radiant as ever."
Mallory chuckled, appreciating the genuine warmth in his words. "Well, Theo, you're not so bad yourself. Still got that charm that could light up a room."
He took a seat next to her, signaling the bartender for a drink. "And you're still as sharp as a tack. How have you been?"
Mallory swirled her wine, her eyes twinkling with a playful glow. "Oh, you know, living the dream.
Married, kids, the whole shebang." Mallory smiled, taking a sip of her wine. "And you? Still breaking hearts and making mothers worry?"
Theo laughed, a sound that was as rich and smooth as aged whiskey. "Guilty as charged. But enough about me, let's talk about you. How's life as a MILF treating you?"
Mallory raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on her lips. "Feisty as ever, I see. But yes, I've embraced it.
I mean, why not? If you've got it, flaunt it, right?" Mallory's gaze held his, a challenge in her eyes.
Theo leaned back, his gaze roaming over her, appreciating the confident way she carried herself. "Damn right. And you definitely do."
The air between them crackled with a tension that was both familiar and exhilarating. Mallory took another sip of her wine, her voice softening as she asked, "So, how’s DC treating you?"
Theo's smile turned wistful. "DC is... interesting. Lots of power plays and late nights. But enough about that. It's been too long, Mallory. Let's catch up properly." He gestured towards the dance floor. "Care to dance?"
Mallory hesitated for a moment, then grinned. "Why not? Let's give them something to talk about."
They stepped onto the dance floor, the beat of the music wrapping them in its rhythmic embrace. Theo's hands rested on Mallory's hips, guiding her effortlessly. She laughed, leaning into him, her body fitting against his like a puzzle piece sliding into place.
"Still remember all the old moves, I see."
He grinned, his eyes never leaving hers. "Some things you never forget."
As they danced, Mallory felt the familiar heat between them ignite. She had always been drawn to Theo, not just physically, but in a way that made her feel alive, untamed. He had a way of making her feel both protected and challenged, a heady mix that was intoxicating.
Theo leaned down, his voice a low murmur in her ear. "You know, Mallory, there's something I've always wanted to ask you."
She pulled back slightly, intrigued.
"Oh yeah? What's that?"
Theo's gaze held hers, intense and unwavering. "I've always wanted to know... if you'd ever let me dominate you."
Mallory's breath hitched, surprise and excitement coursing through her. She had always been attracted to Theo's dominant nature, had always wondered what it would be like to truly submit to him. But she was a woman who knew her own mind, and she wouldn't give in easily.
"Dominate me?" She arched an eyebrow, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
"Oh, is that so? And why would I do that?"
Theo's hand trailed up her back, his touch possessive yet gentle. "Because, Mallory, you and I both know there's a fire between us that's never truly gone out. And I think it's time we explored it."
Mallory's heart pounded in her chest, her body responding to his nearness despite her best efforts to stay composed. "And what makes you think I'd be interested in that?"
Theo's fingers brushed against the nape of her neck, sending shivers down her spine.
"Because I know you, Mallory. I know how your body responds to my touch, how you crave the intensity that I can give you. And I promise, you won't be disappointed."
Mallory took a deep breath, her body tingling with anticipation. She had always been drawn to Theo's dominance, but she was also a woman who demanded respect and consent. She leaned in closer, her voice a low whisper. "And what if I say no? What if I'm not interested?"
Theo's lips curled into a smirk. "Then you say no, and we move on.
But I'd be willing to bet you're interested, Mallory. I've seen that spark in your eyes before." Theo's voice held a confidence that was both reassuring and challenging. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her ear. "But let's not make this decision here, on the dance floor. Let's go somewhere private, where we can talk, where I can show you what I mean."
Mallory's heart pounded in her chest, a mix of excitement and trepidation coursing through her veins.
She pulled back slightly, her eyes locked onto Theo's. "You're confident, I'll give you that." She took a moment to gather her thoughts, her gaze never leaving his. "Alright, let's go somewhere private. But Theo, I need to make one thing clear. I'm not just some conquest. I'm a woman with desires and boundaries, and I expect you to respect that."
Theo nodded, his expression serious. "You have my word, Mallory. I've never forced anyone into anything, and I don't intend to start now.
I want you to be as excited and eager as I am."
Mallory studied him for a moment, her eyes searching his. She saw the sincerity in his gaze, the respect in his posture. She nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Alright. Let's go."
They walked back to the table, gathered their things, and made their way out of the bar. The cool night air hit Mallory's face as they stepped outside, a stark contrast to the heated atmosphere inside. The city was a hum of activity, the streets filled with people laughing and chatting, the air filled with the scent of exhaust and street food.
Theo hailed a cab, and they slipped inside, the interior warm and inviting after the cool night air.
As the cab pulled away from the curb, Mallory turned to Theo, her eyes reflecting the city lights. "My hotel. It's not far from here."
Mallory, her heart pounding in her chest. She was treading into uncharted territory, but there was something exhilarating about the unknown, about the promise of what was to come.
She could feel the anticipation building within her, like a slow burn that ignited every nerve ending in her body.
Theo leaned back against the seat, his eyes never leaving Mallory's. "So, Mallory, tell me. What do you expect from tonight?"
Mallory smiled, her fingers tracing the edge of her purse. "Honestly, Theo? I expect the unexpected. I expect you to show me something I've never seen before. I expect... intensity. You always know how to drive me crazy. And I’m looking forward to that cock."
Theo chuckled, his deep voice filling the cab. "You always did have a way with words, Mallory."
Mallory's lips curved into a smirk. "And you always did have a way of knowing exactly what to say to set me on fire."
He reached out, his hand resting on her thigh, his thumb tracing small circles. Mallory could feel the heat of his touch through her dress, could feel her body responding to his touch.
"We're here," the cab driver announced, breaking the moment.
“Fuck, already?” Mallory said as she paid the driver. The sexual tension was thick in the air. They stepped out of the cab, the city night buzzing around them, but they were in their own world, cocooned in the anticipation of the night ahead. Mallory swiped the key card, and they entered the hotel room. The spacious, dimly lit sanctuary consumed them, the city lights flickering through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting long, dancing shadows across the high-end furniture.
Theo turned to Mallory, his gaze intense and heavy with desire. "You sure about this, Mallory?" he asked, giving her one last chance to back out.
Mallory nodded, her breath catching in her throat. "Yes, Theo.
I'm sure," Mallory replied, her voice barely above a whisper but filled with determination. She took a step forward, closing the distance between them. "I want this. I want you."
Theo's eyes darkened with hunger, his gaze roaming over her body, taking in every curve, every line. He reached out, his fingers brushing against her cheek, his touch gentle yet possessive. "You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment, Mallory."
Mallory closed her eyes, leaning into his touch. "Then don't make me wait any longer," she murmured, her voice laced with desire.
