Chapter 5: epilogue

As a journalist, I've spent years documenting the lives and stories of others. But sometimes there are stories that just can't be told in the pages of a newspaper or magazine. What I share on my website are stories that lurk in the shadows, beyond the reach of mainstream media.

Tonight, we look at a strange incident that took place in a women-only apartment building in Tokyo.

This case was a case of trespassing and may have looked like a rape case, but like Sakura, Hana, and Yumi, none of the "victims" thought they had been raped. Therefore, this was not an "incident" in the sense of a crime.

Sakura, Hana, and Yumi all lived in the same apartment building, and each of them had a mysterious encounter with the same man. He entered their apartments late at night while they were asleep, touched them inappropriately, and left without saying a word.

At first, the women were frightened and confused, not knowing what had happened or who the man was. They reported the incidents to the police, but since they couldn't identify the man or provide any concrete evidence, the case was dropped.

But as it turns out, the women didn't want to press charges.

Sakura, Hana, and Yumi were satisfied with what they had done and what had been done to them. All they wondered was, "How did the man appear and disappear?"!! It was a mystery that kept them up at night, tormenting their minds and filling them with curiosity.

They discussed the man among themselves, trying to piece together the puzzle of his identity and methods. Each woman had her own theory, but none of them seemed to be correct.

Sakura believed that the man was a ghost, a spirit that had been sent to fulfill her desires. She had never felt so alive, so free, and she couldn't shake the feeling that the man was a messenger from the universe, a sign that she was on the right path.

Hana thought the man was a criminal, a burglar who had been taking advantage of vulnerable women.

But her theory was unreasonable, for nothing had been stolen from her room. The man had not taken anything material, but he had given her something she couldn't put a price on.

A feeling of freedom, of liberation, of unbridled pleasure. Yumi couldn't help but think that her way of thinking was close to Sakura's. She couldn't believe that she had been so timid and reserved for so long. She had always been the type to play it safe, to do what was expected of her, to follow the rules. But now she felt like a different person. She felt like she had broken free from the chains that had held her back for so long.

She felt a sense of exhilaration, of rebellion, of pure joy. She wanted to shout it from the rooftops, to tell the world that she was no longer afraid, that she was no longer bound by the constraints of society. She wanted to scream it from the top of her lungs, to let the whole world know that she had found her voice, that she had found her power.

When I heard this story from someone, it reminded me of the Western demon "Incubus." Although Sakura and her friends' experiences were not exactly the same as the story of the "Incubus," they seemed to be quite similar.

The Incubus was a male demon who would visit women in their dreams and seduce them. It was said that these encounters would often result in pregnancy, with the offspring being either monstrous or human.

Sakura and her friends had not gotten pregnant, but they had been visited by a mysterious man in their dreams. They couldn't explain how he had gotten into their apartments, or how he had managed to leave without a trace.

The police had been baffled, and the case had eventually been dropped due to lack of evidence.

But for Sakura and her friends, the mystery remained.

The mystery remains, but perhaps it's better to leave this story as a mystery. So, let's call it a day for tonight.
