Chapter 3: The Morning After
The silk sheets were a tangled ruin, smelling of sex and expensive perfume. Catriona lay with her head on Aidan’s chest, listening to his heartbeat steady into its morning rhythm. Sunlight, sharp and unapologetic, sliced through the gaps in the blinds, painting stripes across the wreckage of the night. Her phone buzzed on the nightstand, a persistent, dull vibration.
She stretched, a satisfied cat, and snagged it. A single glance at the screen made her smile curl.
Elena, 9:14 AM: I can’t walk straight. I think you broke me. When can I come back?
Catriona read it aloud, her voice still sleep-rough. Aidan’s chest vibrated with a quiet laugh.
“Tell her I’m a dedicated professor. Office hours are by appointment only.”
“Mmm, but she’s such a keen student.” Catriona typed a quick reply, her thumbs flying. Afternoon. Kitchen. Be hungry. She sent it and tossed the phone onto the sheets. “And I have a new composition in mind.”
Aidan rolled onto his side, propping his head on his hand. The sheet pooled at his waist. “Do I get a preview of the score?”
“You’re the central instrument. You’ll feel it.” She leaned in, kissing him slowly, tasting herself and him and the faint memory of Elena’s whiskey. “I want to watch you take her from behind. Over the counter. I want to see every inch of you disappear into that tight, scholarly pussy. And while you’re wrecking her,” she whispered, her lips brushing his, “I’m going to ride your face until you can’t breathe.”
His green eyes darkened, the playful professor vanishing behind something far more primal. He pulled her under him in one smooth motion. “You’re a genius.”
“I know.”
By three PM, the storm’s chaos had been replaced by the clean, hard lines of a cloudless sky. The penthouse kitchen gleamed, all polished marble and stainless steel, flooded with relentless afternoon light. It was a stark, revealing contrast to the shadowed frenzy of the living room a week ago. Everything would be visible.
Elena arrived, looking less like a debauched scholar and more like a nervous debutante in a simple linen dress. Her eyes went straight to Aidan, who was leaning against the counter sipping sparkling water, dressed only in grey sweatpants that did nothing to hide his casual, heavy fullness.
“You said be hungry,” Elena said, her voice a little too high.
“I did.” Catriona handed her a flute of champagne. “Drink this. Loosen up. The lighting is better today. I want to appreciate the geometry.”
Aidan smiled, that easy, disarming grin. “She means she wants to watch you struggle. In high definition.”
The champagne did its work. So did Aidan’s hands, which found Elena’s hips and drew her to him for a kiss that was slow and deep, dissolving her remaining nerves into a soft sigh. Catriona watched, leaning against the refrigerator, a curator assessing the first brushstrokes.
“The dress is lovely, El,” Catriona said, her tone conversational. “Now take it off. I want to see the marks he left on you.”
Elena obeyed, her fingers fumbling slightly on the buttons. The linen pooled at her feet. In the harsh sunlight, the faint bruises on her hips and the inside of her thighs were indeed visible—violet shadows against her pale skin. A testament.
“Beautiful,” Catriona breathed. She walked over, traced one with her finger. “Now him.”
Elena’s hands went to the waistband of Aidan’s sweats, pushing them down. His cock sprang free, already thick and heavy, casting a familiar, daunting shadow. Elena knelt, but Catriona stopped her with a touch.
“Later. Right now, I need you bent over that island.” She pointed to the broad expanse of cold marble. “Aidan, lube’s in the drawer. The good stuff.”
The mundane command in the bright, domestic space was its own kind of thrill. Aidan retrieved the bottle with a familiar ease. Catriona guided Elena, pressing her palm between the woman’s shoulder blades until her torso was flat against the stone, her round ass raised, her cheek turned to the side. The city stretched behind her, a silent panorama.
Catriona took the bottle from Aidan, squeezed a generous amount into her own hand. It was cool. She warmed it between her fingers before sliding them through Elena’s folds from behind, making her jump. “Still so swollen,” Catriona murmured, working the lube inside, stretching her. “You can feel where he was, can’t you? It remembers.”
Elena nodded, a whimper catching in her throat.
“Good.” Catriona stepped back, wiping her hand on a dish towel. “Now, Aidan. Don’t be gentle. Show her the difference between night and day.”
Aidan moved behind Elena, his frame dwarfing her. He placed one big, warm hand on the small of her back, a point of contact that was both possessive and steadying. With the other, he guided himself, pressing the broad, slick head against her.
“Breathe out, Elena,” he said, his professor’s voice low and calm.
She exhaled a shuddering breath, and he pushed.
The invasion was even more visceral in the light. Catriona watched, her own breath catching, as Elena’s body strained to accept him. The stretch was visible, an obscene, beautiful distortion. Elena’s mouth fell open in a silent scream, her fingers scrambling for purchase on the smooth marble. Aidan didn’t stop, feeding her his length in a slow, continuous, devastating push until his hips met her ass, until he was fully, irrevocably buried.
“Oh, god, oh fuck,” Elena sobbed, the words splintering. “It’s… deeper. I can feel it… everywhere.”
“You can see it,” Catriona corrected, her voice tight with awe. She circled them, a satellite drawn into orbit. She could see the tight clasp of Elena’s body, the way her stomach almost seemed to tent. “Look at you. Full of him. In my kitchen.”
Aidan began to move, a deep, withdrawing slide followed by a rolling, powerful thrust that jarred Elena’s whole body forward. The sounds were different here—sharper, wetter, echoing off the hard surfaces. Each impact was a clear, brutal slap.
Catriona’s own need was a live wire. She shed her silk robe, letting it puddle on the floor. She approached Aidan from the side, her hand on his arm. “Look at me.”
He turned his head, his gaze hazed with pleasure, but focused on her. She saw the effort it took, the division of his attention between the body he was mastering and her command. Perfect.
She climbed onto the counter next to where Elena was being fucked, the marble cold under her knees. She positioned herself over Aidan’s face. “Don’t you dare stop moving,” she ordered, lowering herself onto his mouth.
The world narrowed to sensations: the violent, rhythmic shaking of the counter under her knees; the hot, desperate grasp of Elena below; and the brilliant, specific pressure of Aidan’s tongue as he ate her with a starved, focused intensity. He was grunting against her, the vibrations mingling with the wet, driving sounds from behind.
Catriona gripped the overhead pot rack for balance, her head thrown back. She watched the spectacle in the window’s reflection—a triptych of pleasure. Elena’s contorted face. Aidan’s powerful back and shoulders working between them. Herself, arched and riding his mouth, the director in the frame.
“Yes,” she chanted, to both of them, to the room, to the city watching. “Just like that. Fuck her, Aidan. Ruin her. Make her forget every smart thought she’s ever had.”
Elena’s cries pitched higher, breaking into garbled, pleading fragments. Catriona felt the exact moment Aidan’s rhythm lost its smoothness, becoming jagged, urgent. She bore down on his mouth, pressing his face deeper into her, stealing his air as he stole hers.
The climax didn’t roll—it detonated. Elena came first, a sharp, shattering scream as her body clamped down in visible spasms around Aidan’s driving cock. The violent squeeze was the trigger. Aidan slammed into her one final, grinding time, his own roar muffled against Catriona, his body locking as he emptied himself.
Catriona followed them over the edge, her vision whiting out, the electrical storm in her nerves short-circuiting into pure, silent static.
The aftermath was a slow, dripping return. Aidan rested his forehead against Catriona’s thigh, his breathing ragged. Elena lay limp and shattered over the island, tiny aftershocks trembling through her. Catriona carefully dismounted, her legs unsteady. She sank to the floor, her back against the cabinets, and looked at her handiwork.
The kitchen was a battlefield in the golden light. Champagne flutes stood untouched. A bowl of fruit sat, absurdly bright and innocent. And in the center, two beautifully wrecked people.
Aidan eventually helped Elena to her feet, holding her when her legs buckled. He guided her to the sofa in the adjoining living room, wrapping a throw around her shoulders with a tenderness that made Catriona’s heart ache in a strange, new way.
He came back to the kitchen, fetched a glass of water, and brought it to Catriona first. He knelt in front of her, pushing her sweat-damped hair from her face.
“Okay?” he asked, his voice raw.
She took the water, drank, and nodded. “Better than okay.” She looked past him to Elena, who was watching them with dazed, worshipful eyes. “She’s going to need a taxi home.”
“I’ll call it,” he said.
As he stood, Catriona reached out and caught his hand. She didn’t say anything. She just held it, pressing his knuckles to her lips, listening to the quiet hum of the stainless steel refrigerator, the distant sigh of the city below. The composition was complete. The pleasure, shared. The possession, absolute.
And in the quiet, a new, more complex note began to hum, soft but persistent, deep in the marrow of her bones.
