Chapter 1: The First Morning After
The morning sun cut through the ivy strung across the gazebo’s wrought-iron lace, dappling the wooden floor with pools of liquid gold. Mehdi sat on the cool marble bench, the sheer fabric of his robe whispering against skin that was still a foreign country. He spread his hands, staring at the perfect, wine-dark polish on his nails, then let them travel down, tracing the new, profound curve of his hip. It felt like stealing.
A soft groan of wood under a heavier footstep. He looked up.
Ashraf filled the arched doorway, blocking the sun for a moment. The light caught the thick, dark hair dusting her forearms, her broad chest stretching a simple cotton shirt. Her jaw was a hard line now, but her eyes were the same: deep, patient, knowing.
“You’ve been out here an hour,” she said, her voice a rich, warm baritone that still sometimes startled him.
“Just taking inventory.” Mehdi’s own voice was higher, melodious. He loved and hated it. “It’s a lot. The… absence. It’s a very loud absence, Ash.”
She moved inside, the space seeming to shrink around her solid presence. She knelt on the sun-warmed planks before him, her large, capable hands resting on his bare knees. The touch was electric, a jolt that traveled straight up his thighs. That was new, too. Everything was a live wire.
“Tell me,” she said.
“It feels strange. Wrong, sometimes. Like I’ve lost a limb I spent my whole life relying on.” He let out a short, breathy laugh that wasn’t quite humor. “I reach for it in the shower. A ghost. And in its place is… this. This complexity. This silence.” He glanced down between his own legs, the sheer robe hiding nothing. “A pussy. I have a pussy. I wake up and I have to remind myself.”
Ashraf’s thumb stroked his knee. “And what does it feel like? Right now.”
Mehdi closed his eyes, focusing past the psychic dislocation to the pure physical truth. “It feels… warm. A little ache, deep inside. Like a hollow that wants filling. It’s a different kind of want. It’s not a demand. It’s a… suggestion.” He opened his eyes, meeting hers. “It’s infuriatingly subtle.”
A smile played on Ashraf’s lips. “You’ll learn to hear it.” One hand came up to cradle his face, her touch impossibly gentle for a hand so big. “Remember how you used to touch me? When these were mine?” Her other hand brushed the side of his breast through the robe, the nipple pebbling instantly, fiercely.
A gasp punched out of Mehdi. “Christ.”
“Sensitive?”
“It’s like you plugged me into a wall socket.” He shuddered. “I never understood. I thought I was being attentive, but I never felt that. Not really.”
“And now you have your own to explore.” Ashraf’s hand didn’t leave his face. “My big, tough businessman. Who used to command boardrooms and now gets derailed by a satin seam.”
“Don’t laugh at me.”
“I’m not.” Her tone was dead serious. “I’m in awe. Every day. Watching you map this new territory. It’s the bravest thing I’ve ever seen.” She leaned in, her breath warm against his mouth. “Remember your old cock?”
“Vividly. Annoyingly.”
“You were proud of it.”
“It was serviceable.”
Ashraf chuckled, the sound vibrating through him. “It was more than serviceable. But this…” Her hand slid from his face, down his neck, over the swell of his breast, coming to rest low on his belly, just above the intricate silver piercing that nestled in his navel. “This is a masterpiece. And you have no idea what it’s capable of.”
He was melting under her touch, under her words. The confusion was still there, a knot in his stomach, but it was unfurling into something else—a sharp, desperate curiosity. “Teach me.”
Her eyes darkened. She shifted closer, the rough fabric of her jeans against his smooth calf. “You used to love when I’d take you in my mouth. The control. The sheer sensation of it.”
“Yes.”
“Now,” she murmured, her lips a hair’s breadth from his, “imagine that sensation… but everywhere. Not concentrated in one eager piece of flesh. But radiating. Here.” A kiss on his collarbone. “And here.” A nip at his earlobe. “Building here.” Her hand pressed over the warm silence between his legs. “Until your whole body is that single point of need. Until you forget you ever had anything else.”
Mehdi’s head fell back against the ivy-covered pillar, a moan catching in his throat. The hollow ache was a pulse now, a distinct, hungry rhythm. “Show me.”
Ashraf stood up, a tower of confident strength, and offered her hand. He took it, letting her pull him to his feet. The robe slipped from his shoulders, puddling on the marble bench. The sun kissed every inch of his hairless, dusky skin, the curves and slopes that were still a daily revelation.
“Look at you,” Ashraf breathed, her gaze a physical heat. “All this softness. And that fierce mind, still right there behind your eyes.” She pulled him against her, their bodies aligning in a new, perfect puzzle. The hard plane of her chest against his tender breasts. The formidable ridge of her erection, still confined by denim, pressing against that new, aching hollow.
Mehdi whimpered. It was an utterly foreign sound. He would have been embarrassed a month ago. Now, it just felt true.
“See?” Ashraf whispered into his hair, her arms enveloping him. “The body is different. But the want isn’t. The trust isn’t. We’re still us.” Her hands slid down his back, over the full swell of his ass, pulling him tighter. “I’ve got you. I’ll always guide you home.”
In the dappled light of the gazebo, surrounded by the impossible roses and the hum of a transformed world, Mehdi let himself be held. Let himself feel. The ghost of his old self lingered, a faint echo. But the present was Ashraf’s solid heart beating against his chest, the promise of a pleasure he couldn’t yet fathom, and the thrilling, terrifying certainty that his greatest exploration was just beginning. He turned his head, finding her lips with his.
“Then stop talking,” he breathed against her mouth, “and show me what this masterpiece can do.”
