Chapter 8: Surgical Submission
The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, harsh and unforgiving. They bleached the color out of everything in Dr. Vance’s consultation room – the stark white walls, the chrome instruments gleaming on a tray, the rows of unnervingly perfect 'after' photos showcasing impossible curves and sculpted noses. The antiseptic smell was stronger here, almost medicinal, scratching at the back of Josh’s throat. He shifted on the cold leather chair, the material sticking slightly to the backs of his thighs. His fingers, thicker and less nimble than they were just weeks ago, fumbled clumsily with the small plastic buttons of his blouse. It was getting tight. Really tight across the chest.
"Just relax, Mr. Henderson," Dr. Vance murmured, his tone blandly professional. He held a flexible measuring tape, its yellow plastic stark against his latex gloves. He wasn't looking at Josh's face; his focus was entirely on the swell beneath the gaping fabric Josh was struggling with.
Sarah sat perched on a sleek, uncomfortable-looking stool in the corner. She wasn't relaxed. Her posture was alert, almost vibrating. Her eyes, wide and unnervingly bright, were fixed on Josh’s struggling hands and the exposed skin of his upper chest. Her own massive breasts strained against the thin cotton of her t-shirt, resting solidly on her thickened lap. Her freshly plumped lips were parted slightly, glistening with sticky gloss. She hadn't stopped touching herself since they arrived – a hand idly squeezing her own flank, fingers tracing the deep crease where her belly met her thigh. A low hum vibrated through the room, almost imperceptible beneath the buzz of the lights. Josh hadn't noticed it at first, but now it seemed to pulse in time with the throbbing ache in his own chest. It emanated from the small, sleek speakers mounted near the ceiling.
"...your tits swinging heavy and full..." The whisper snaked into his awareness, smooth as oil, layered beneath the electronic hum. Dr. Blackwood’s voice. Josh tried to shake his head, to dislodge the insidious words. The movement made the sensitive flesh beneath his blouse shift, a sharp jolt of sensation radiating outward. He gasped.
"...slapping against your belly with every step..." the voice continued, relentless, painting a vivid, grotesque picture inside his skull. He could almost feel it. The heavy, pendulous weight. The soft impact against the softening swell of his own stomach. Sticky sweat prickled along his hairline.
"Got it," Josh mumbled, finally popping the last button free. He peeled the blouse open, the cool air hitting damp skin. He avoided looking down. He didn't need to see it to know. The stretch marks were new, faint pink lines spiderwebbing from the sides. The areolae, already larger, darker than before, seemed to tighten in the cool air. A wave of shame washed over him, hot and cloying.
"Excellent," Dr. Vance said, utterly devoid of inflection. He stepped closer. Josh flinched as the cold plastic of the measuring tape pressed firmly beneath one breast, curving upwards. The touch wasn't rough, but it was impersonal, clinical. It made his skin crawl. The tape slid across his skin, measuring, assessing. He could feel the unnatural density, the sheer mass of tissue that hadn't existed months ago. The surgeon’s fingers brushed against the outer swell, then again, higher. Josh bit his lip hard. A traitorous, deep throb pulsed outward from the point of contact.
"Significant development," Dr. Vance observed, jotting a number on a chart attached to a sleek tablet. He moved to the other side. The cold plastic again. The measuring. The phantom sensation of heavy weight swinging against his belly intensified. Slap. Slap. Every imagined step echoed in his bones. He squeezed his eyes shut.
"Oh my god, Josh," Sarah breathed from the corner, her voice husky with excitement. "Look at them. They’re incredible already." He opened his eyes. She wasn't looking at him. She was staring hungrily at his exposed chest, her own hand now kneading the vast curve of her hip. "So full. So soft. Just like mine are getting." There was a possessiveness in her gaze that made his stomach clench. "Dr. Vance," she leaned forward, her voice dropping conspiratorially, though still loud enough for Josh to hear, "what size do you think…?"
"Based on current measurements and projection?" Dr. Vance didn't look up from his tablet, scrolling through data. "Easily a D cup, possibly DD already. The glandular tissue is remarkably dense. Growth rate is… accelerated." He finally glanced at Josh, his expression unreadable. "You are experiencing significant sensitivity? Tenderness?"
Josh nodded mutely. His tongue felt thick.
"Normal," Dr. Vance stated. "Part of the process. The body is adapting." He put the tablet down and picked up another instrument, a small caliper. "Now, for the pectoral mapping. Need to track the adipose redistribution." He moved the caliper towards Josh's chest.
"No!" The word burst out of Josh, sharper than he intended. He recoiled, pulling the edges of his blouse together instinctively, covering himself. His heart hammered against his ribs. "That's… that's enough."
Dr. Vance paused, blinking slowly. He looked faintly bored. "Mr. Henderson, comprehensive assessment is vital for informed decisions regarding future procedures or management of… side effects." His gaze flickered towards the speakers for a fraction of a second. The subliminal hum seemed to swell slightly. "...heavy and full..."
"Baby," Sarah cooed, pushing herself off the stool with surprising agility despite her size. She waddled the few steps over, her thighs rubbing together audibly. She placed a damp, plump hand on his bare shoulder. Her touch was hot. Her perfume, sickly-sweet vanilla, overwhelmed the antiseptic. "Don't be shy. Dr. Vance knows what he's doing. He's just making sure everything's perfect. Making sure you're perfect." Her fingers trailed down his arm, settling possessively on the soft swell above his elbow. "Think how amazing it'll feel. Just like me. Big, beautiful. No hiding anymore." Her thumb rubbed slow circles on his softening skin. Her eyes were glazed, feverish. "We'll match. Everyone will see. Everyone will know what a lucky, lucky man he is."
Josh stared at her. The Sarah he’d married – sharp, independent, comfortable in her own skin – felt like a distant ghost. This woman, radiating predatory excitement over his own body horror, was a stranger. A terrifyingly voluptuous stranger. The throb in his chest deepened, resonating with the low hum in the air. He felt dizzy. Trapped. His thickening fingers trembled where they clutched the blouse.
Dr. Vance waited, the caliper held loosely, his expression impassive. Sarah leaned closer, her massive breasts pressing against his arm. Her breath was warm and candy-scented on his ear. "Let him finish, sweetie," she murmured, her voice thick with anticipation. "Let’s see how much bigger they're gonna get." Her other hand slid down from his arm, settling heavily on his thigh, just above the knee. The pressure was solid, inescapable. Anchoring him to the cold leather chair. Anchoring him to this relentless, softening reality. The fluorescent light glared. The antiseptic burned. The tape measure lay coiled on the instrument tray like a discarded snake. Josh closed his eyes again, the phantom sensation of heavy weight swinging, slapping, filling the darkness. Slap. Slap. Sarah’s hand squeezed his thigh. Waiting.
