Chapter 3: Dungeon Defilement

The dungeons of Bowser’s castle were never silent. They hummed with the low groan of ancient pipes and the distant, echoing drip of water into unseen pools. But now, a new scent fought the prevailing odors of mildew and rust—a cloying, artificial peach blossom perfume that clung to the back of the throat like powdered sugar.

They had moved Grelm here after he’d stained the throne room steps. It was deemed more fitting; a bride should have private chambers, even if those chambers were a cell three meters square. The Paratroopa lay on his side on the cold stone floor, still in the soiled white gown. They had chained him, not at the ankles, but with a heavy manacle clamped around the base of his right wing, fastened to a ring in the wall. It forced his wing into an awkward, half-extended angle, a constant, dull ache. His other wing was pinned and bound beneath the fabric, numb. He wasn’t sleeping. His eyes were open, staring at the opposite wall where someone, in a fit of sick decoration, had hung a tattered silk sash.

The click of the heavy lock was deafening. The iron door swung inward with a shriek of protest.

Bowser filled the doorway, a hulking silhouette against the flickering lantern light of the corridor. He held a bottle of something dark in one claw. He’d been drinking, a celebratory haze following the day’s “success.” His bowtie was gone. In its place, a crude, spiked leather band was fitted around the base of his thick cock, the dull iron studs glinting in the low light.

“Checking on my wife,” he slurred, stepping inside and letting the door thud shut behind him.

Grelm didn’t move. He just watched the wall.

Bowser lumbered over, his shadow engulfing the prone figure. He kicked the chains with a clang. “Look at me when I’m talking to you.”

Slowly, Grelm’s head turned. His eyes, usually so steady, were hollow. The paint on his face had smeared into a grotesque parody of tears.

“You did good today,” Bowser said, taking a swig from the bottle. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. “Real good. Said the words. Meant ‘em, too.” He belched. “Gotta consummate the marriage proper, though. Can’t just be a one-time thing. A queen’s got duties.”

He set the bottle down with a clink. His claws went to the buckle of his own leather plating, fumbling it open. The spiked ring was clearly visible now, a brutal-looking contraption. “Got a little gift for you. Makes it more… memorable.”

Grelm’s breath hitched. A fine tremor started in his chained wing.

“Get up. On your knees.” The command was flat, absolute.

Every movement was agony. The wounded muscles of his lower body screamed as Grelm pushed himself up, the manacle on his wing pulling taut with a rasp of chain links. He got to his knees, the ruined dress pooling around him. He kept his head bowed, the pink wig slipping sideways.

Bowser grabbed a fistful of the curls and yanked his head back. “Eyes up here, princess.” His breath reeked of cheap, potent liquor. “You’re gonna take your king. And you’re gonna thank me for it.”

With his other hand, Bowser shoved the skirts of the dress up to Grelm’s waist. He was still slick and sore from the earlier violation, his own flesh swollen and tender. Bowser didn’t bother with any pretense of preparation. He spat into his palm, slicked himself over the ring of spikes, and then positioned the broad, studded head against Grelm’s entrance.

“This’ll remind you who’s inside you,” Bowser grunted.

He pushed.

The intrusion was even more violent than before. The studs of the cock ring, though blunt, dragged and scraped against the ultra-sensitive, already-abused flesh. It wasn’t just penetration; it was a brutal, grinding expansion. Grelm gasped, a raw, animal sound, his body arching backward against the impossible fullness. The chain on his wing rattled violently.

“Fuck, yeah,” Bowser moaned, sinking deeper, the ring now buried within the tight clench of muscle. “Tighter than a vault. My own personal fucking vault.”

He began to move. Each thrust was a study in engineered torment. The inward drive stretched Grelm to a burning limit, the spikes creating a dreadful, dragging friction. The withdrawal was worse, each stud catching and pulling at the tender inner flesh before popping free. A ragged, wet, tearing sound accompanied every stroke.

Bowser set a relentless, pounding rhythm, using his grip on the wig to piston Grelm’s body back onto him. The Paratroopa’s world narrowed to the piercing stretch below and the metallic taste of blood in his mouth from biting his own tongue. His silent tears were real now, cutting clean lines through the grime and paint. He made small, choked noises with each impact, his military discipline shattered into dumb animal suffering.

“You feel those spikes, soldier?” Bowser growled, his voice thick with drink and exertion. Sweat dripped from his snout onto Grelm’s exposed back. “That’s my claim. Carving my name right into your fucking guts.” He drove in particularly hard, grinding the ring deep. Grelm whimpered, a high, broken sound. “Yeah. That’s it. Sing for me.”

The brutality seemed to fuel Bowser’s drunken arousal. He fucked with a monotonous, industrial force, the slaps of flesh and scales echoing off the wet stone. He was chasing that same fleeting satisfaction, trying to pound it into existence through sheer, violent will.

“Gonna come inside you again,” he panted. “Fill my queen up. Make it stick this time.”

His movements became jerky, erratic. With a final, deep thrust that pressed the spiked ring flush against Grelm’s bruised opening, Bowser roared. His release was a hot, painful flood inside the ravaged channel. He held himself there, shuddering, for a long moment before slumping forward, his weight bearing the kneeling Paratroopa down onto the cold floor.

The spike pressed agonizingly deeper with the added pressure. Grelm lay crushed beneath him, unable to breathe, his face pressed into the damp stone. He could feel the warm trickle of his own blood mixing with Bowser’s spend.

After what felt like an age, Bowser pulled out. The studs dragged one last, excruciating time. He stood up, breathing heavily, looking down at his handiwork. Grelm remained on the floor, trembling, a dark wetness spreading on the peach-colored silk between his legs.

Bowser’s triumphant haze began to dissipate, replaced by the familiar hollow ache. The spike ring felt vulgar now. The whimpering form on the floor wasn’t a blushing bride; it was a broken soldier in a filthy dress. He unbuckled the ring with a snap of disgust and let it fall to the floor with a metallic clatter.

“Clean yourself up,” he muttered, not looking at Grelm. He retrieved his bottle and took a long, bitter pull. The liquor didn’t help. The silence of the cell, broken only by Grelm’s ragged breathing, was accusing.

He turned and left, the door locking automatically behind him.

In the dim lantern light of the corridor, he leaned against the damp wall. The castle felt enormous and empty. He thought of the Koopa Troopa, the resentful silence. He thought of the Goomba, Stan, who had probably been recycled into the barracks by now. He thought of the guard at his feet, broken. None of them looked at him the way she did. None of them had that gentle, infuriating grace.

From the shadow of an alcove a few cells down, a pair of eyes watched him. The Koopa Troopa, his own punishment duty scrubbing the dungeon walkways, paused in his work. He saw the king’s slumped shoulders, the vacant stare into the middle distance. He saw the profound, pathetic emptiness in the ruler’s eyes. The glass shard, wrapped in a bit of rag, was a cool, reassuring weight tucked within the folds of his tunic. He watched Bowser push off the wall and stagger away, a lonely monster in a castle of his own making.

The Koopa looked at the door to Grelm’s cell. He heard a faint, wet sob from within. He felt no camaraderie, only a cold, sharp understanding. They were all just raw material here, clay for the king’s crumbling fantasy. His claw tightened around the hidden shard. He would need a better plan. He would need an opportunity when the king’s guard was down, when that emptiness made him slow.

He returned to scrubbing, the bristles of his brush scraping over the stones in a rhythm as steady as a heartbeat.
