Chapter 1: Puffing Up a Pregnant Doll
The unicorn float loomed over Sarah’s bed, a sagging monument to last summer’s deflated joy. Its horn was bent, brushing against the peeling SpongeBob wallpaper. The room smelled like old birthday parties—stale cotton candy and the tang of vinyl from the heaps of pool toys and half-inflated balloons in the corner. Sarah traced a finger along the seam of the box on her bed, a plain brown thing with no return address. The postmark was smudged into oblivion.
Inside, nestled in gray foam, was the doll.
It was her. The same moon-shaped face, the same arch of the brows. But the lips were parted, too red, and the eyes were wide-open, glassy, and depthless. It was a perfect replica, cast in cool, flesh-toned vinyl. She lifted it out. It was limp, empty, a second skin waiting to be filled. A shiver, not entirely unpleasant, skated down her spine. She’d ordered weird things online before, but this was different. This felt personal.
“Who sent you?” she whispered to the empty face.
The room offered no answer, just the quiet hiss of the radiator. She carried the doll to her reading chair, an overstuffed thing drowning in a floral print. Her blue hair was tied in a messy bun, a few strands sticking to her neck. She was wearing a black lace chemise, something she put on when the loneliness felt particularly heavy, just to feel something against her skin.
A small, discreet valve was embedded in the doll's mouth, just past the lips. Sarah brought it to her lips, kissing the doll as she found the valve with her teeth. The vinyl tasted of new showers curtains and chemical sweetness. She blew.
Her breath, warm and living, filled the hollow form. The chest rounded. The belly swelled, smooth and taut. The limbs plumped, losing their crumpled lethargy. She paused, checking the instructions. Inflate to firmness. Do not overfill.
The doll lay there, a breathing, sleeping version of herself. It was eerie. It was fascinating. She ran a hand over its stomach, the vinyl tight as a drum. A strange possessiveness bloomed in her chest. More, a voice in her head murmured. See how far it can go.
She put her lips back to the valve. She blew until her cheeks ached, until spots danced behind her eyes. The doll’s middle distended further, stretching the material to a high, glossy shine. The seams creaked. The breasts ballooned, absurdly round and full. The doll no longer looked like her; it looked like a caricature, a pornographic version of her shape, bloated and ripe.
She was dizzy, panting, about to stop, when the doll’s eyes snapped open.
They didn’t blink. They just stared, glassy and fixed, directly into Sarah’s.
Sarah froze, her mouth still an inch from the valve. A choked gasp stuck in her throat.
The doll’s head turned, the vinyl making a soft, rubbery sound against the chair. Its too-red lips twisted into a smirk. Before Sarah could move, could scream, the doll’s own mouth opened. It leaned in, not with the stiffness of a toy, but with a liquid, predatory grace.
It sealed its mouth over Sarah’s.
A cold, forceful stream of air punched down Sarah’s throat. It wasn’t her breath. It was thick, tasted like static and latex, and it didn’t stop. Sarah gagged, her hands flying up to push the thing away, but her fingers just slipped on the slick, swollen vinyl. The air filled her. It went deeper than a lungful, pushing into her stomach, her organs, the spaces between.
Her own belly tightened. She looked down, eyes wide with terror.
A soft, firm roundness was pushing out against the black lace of her chemise. It was growing, distending, mirroring the obscene inflation of the doll before her. She felt a stretching, a tautening of her own skin. Her breasts felt tight, bigger, the lace straining across them.
The doll broke the kiss with a soft, wet pop. It giggled, a sound that was Sarah’s own voice but smoothed of all anxiety, laced with a cold, joyful cruelty.
“Look at you,” it cooed, its unblinking eyes drinking in Sarah’s shock. “My fat little blow-up toy.”
“W-what are you?” Sarah stammered, her voice trembling. She tried to stand, but her balance was wrong, her new weight pulling her forward.
“I’m what happens when you stop being afraid of what you really want,” the Replica said, standing up. It moved with an impossible, eerie fluidity, its overfilled body swaying. It reached out a plump, vinyl hand and cupped Sarah’s cheek. The touch was cool and deliberate. “All these toys, Sarah. All these empty things you fill with air. You never wondered what it felt like to be the toy?”
Sarah tried to slap the hand away, but her arm felt slower, heavier. “Get away from me.”
“Or what?” The Replica smiled, its lips stretched wide. “You’ll call for help? Who’s going to hear you? The rubber ducks?” It leaned in, its voice a whisper. “You invited me in. You filled me up. Now it’s my turn.”
It grabbed Sarah’s wrist. The grip was shockingly strong. It pulled her, stumbling, toward the bed. Sarah fell onto the mattress, the half-deflated unicorn bouncing above her. The Replica climbed on top, straddling her swollen middle. Its inflated weight pressed down, making Sarah’s stretched belly bulge out at the sides.
“Stop,” Sarah pleaded, but it came out as a weak whimper.
The Replica found the lace hem of Sarah’s chemise and pushed it up, revealing the pale, tight dome of her stomach. It traced the shape with a knowing finger. “Beautiful. So much more room in there than you think.” It leaned down, its mouth close to Sarah’s navel. “Let’s see how much you can hold.”
It took a deep, exaggerated breath, its own vast chest swelling even further, and then exhaled a slow, concentrated stream of hot air directly onto Sarah’s skin.
The air didn’t just wash over her. It seeped in. Sarah felt her navel stretch, the skin around it tingling and tightening. Her belly expanded upward, pushing against the Replica’s chest, rounding into a smoother, fuller sphere. A soft moan escaped her—a confusing mix of terror and a deep, unwanted thrill. The pressure was immense, profound. It felt like she was being unpacked and remade from the inside.
“That’s it,” the Replica murmured, watching the transformation with predatory delight. “Just relax and fill up. It’s what you’re for now.”
Sarah squeezed her eyes shut, tears leaking from the corners. She was trapped under the weight of herself, her own distorted reflection pinning her down as her body betrayed her, swelling obscenely with every stolen breath. The line between her and her collection, between the inflator and the inflated, dissolved into a rubbery, breathless nightmare. And the thing wearing her face wasn’t finished. Not even close.
The Replica ran a hand over Sarah's engorged belly, the skin taut and hot. "You're just getting started, my little balloon." It leaned down, its mouth hovering over Sarah's navel. "I'm going to fill every inch of you, Sarah. I'm going to make you stretch and pop and scream."
Sarah whimpered, her hands gripping the sheets. "Please, don't-"
The Replica cut her off with a sharp laugh. "Oh, I'm just getting started." It pressed its mouth to her navel, and Sarah felt the hot rush of air again, but this time, it was directed, purposeful.
The Replica wasn’t just inflating her—it was *filling* her. The pressure built in Sarah’s stomach, her organs shifting, her ribs straining against the tightened skin. The sensation was obscene—unrelenting, invasive—and Sarah’s traitorous body responded with a wet heat pooling between her thighs. She hated it. She loved it. She was being undone.
The Replica pulled back just enough to smirk down at her, its glassy eyes dark with amusement. “Look at you,” it crooned, voice dripping with mock affection. “Already getting wet for me.
