Chapter 3: The Penthouse Claiming
The phone buzzed itself into silence on the crate. The echo of it seemed to hang in the cellar’s damp air longer than the sound itself. Rachel didn’t move from Janos’s arms. Her breathing, soft against his neck, was the only sign she was even aware of the interruption.
“You should get that,” Janos said, his voice low. He didn’t release her.
“I know.”
Still, she didn’t move. He finally loosened his hold, stepping back to adjust his clothes. The physical separation felt abrupt, a plunge into cooler air. She watched him, her eyes tracing the movements of his hands as he tucked himself in, buckled his belt. He was once again the VC, the strategist, but the shadow of what had just happened clung to him, to both of them, like a scent.
She found her torn thong, a useless scrap of lace, and tucked it into her clutch. She pulled the emerald slip over her head, the silk slithering down her body, hiding the marks his fingers had left on her hips. The transformation was incomplete. Her hair was a wild mess. Her lips were swollen. She looked thoroughly fucked.
Janos picked up her phone and handed it to her. The screen had gone dark. “Text him. Tell him you’re in a late strategy session. That you’ll be a while.”
She took the phone, her fingers trembling slightly. She typed a message, her thumbs moving quickly. She showed him the screen before sending: Deep in the term sheet with Janos. His team is relentless. Might be a few more hours. Don’t wait up. Love you.
He gave a single nod. “Send it.”
She did. The swoosh of the sent message was the sound of a door closing. She met his gaze. The fear was gone, replaced by a resolve so sharp it was almost frightening.
“Come on,” he said, taking her hand. His grip was firm, possessive. He led her back up the stairs, through the staff door, and out into the valet lane where his black Tesla waited, a silent beast under the hotel lights.
He opened the passenger door for her. She slid in, the leather cool through her thin slip. He got in the driver’s side, started the car, and pulled away from the ancient walls of Valletta, heading towards the modern sprawl of apartments along the coast.
The car was a capsule of silence and electric hum. The city lights streaked past the windows. After five minutes, his right hand left the steering wheel. It settled on her bare thigh, high up, his fingers splayed. The heat of his palm burned through the silk.
“I’m not done with you,” he said, his eyes on the road. His voice was conversational, but the words were not. “That was just me getting the taste of you. Cleaning the slate.”
His fingers began a slow, insistent massage of her inner thigh, inching higher. “When we get to my place, I’m going to strip you naked and make you kneel in the middle of the living room. I’m going to pour a glass of whiskey and just look at you. I want to see every fucking inch of the woman who convinced three billionaires to write checks today. I want to see her blush.”
His thumb found the hem of her slip, pushed beneath it. He rubbed the bare skin of her crease, not yet touching her core, just the sensitive, trembling flesh beside it. Rachel let out a shaky breath, her legs falling open a fraction.
“Then,” he continued, his tone never changing, “I’m going to bend you over the back of my sofa. I’m going to pull your hair until your back arches just how I like it. And I’m going to eat your cunt from behind until you’re dripping down your own thighs. I want to hear you beg me to stop because you can’t take any more. And then I’m going to make you take more.”
His fingers finally found her. She was already wet, swollen from the cellar. He pressed the heel of his hand against her clit and rubbed, a slow, grinding pressure that made her hips jerk. A soft, broken sound escaped her lips.
“Then I’m going to fuck that smart, begging mouth of yours,” he whispered, his gaze flicking to her for a second, dark and hungry. “I want to feel your throat convulse around my cock. I want to see your tears. And when I’m good and ready, I’m going to tie you to my bed. Silk ropes. Nice and soft. Won’t leave a mark for your husband to see.”
He pushed two fingers inside her, curling them. She gasped, her head falling back against the seat.
“I’m going to fuck you in every position I can think of,” he said, his voice dropping to a rough whisper as he worked his fingers in and out of her, slow and deep. “I’m going to come on your face. I’m going to come in your ass. I’m going to use every hole you have until the only word you remember is mine.”
He added a third finger, stretching her, a deliberate, burning fullness. She was panting now, her hands gripping the leather seat, her body moving helplessly against his hand. The car was filled with the slick, obscene sound of his fingers fucking her.
“Are you going to be a good girl for me, Rachel?” he asked, his thumb circling her clit with brutal precision.
“Yes,” she choked out. “God, yes.”
“Then come for me. Now. In my car. Like the desperate little thing you are.”
The command, the relentless motion of his hand, the filthy promises pouring from his mouth—it was too much. Her orgasm ripped through her, silent and seismic, her body bowing off the seat, a strangled cry locked in her throat. He held his hand there, feeling her clench and spasm around his fingers until the last tremor subsided.
He slowly withdrew his hand, bringing his glistening fingers to his lips. He sucked them clean, his eyes on the road. “Good.”
She lay boneless in the passenger seat, utterly spent, staring at the passing lights with wide, dazed eyes.
The penthouse was on the top floor of a glass tower, all sharp angles and silent elevators. The doors opened directly into the living space. It was as he’d described: a monochromatic dream of shadows and reflections, the city a jeweled carpet far below. The air was cool, scentless.
He closed the door. The lock engaged with a heavy, final thunk.
“Phone on the console. Shoes off,” he said, his voice echoing in the vast space.
She obeyed, placing her clutch and heels by the door. She stood in the center of the room, silhouetted against the wall of windows, waiting.
“The slip,” he said, unbuttoning his own shirt. “Take it off.”
She pulled it over her head, let it fall. She stood naked, the city’s neon glow painting her skin in washes of blue and amber. She was magnificent. All the elegant composure of the boardroom was gone, leaving only raw, trembling vulnerability.
“Kneel.”
She lowered herself to the polished concrete floor, her knees meeting the hard surface with a soft tap. She kept her eyes down, her hands resting on her thighs. Her curls tumbled around her shoulders.
He finished undressing, letting his clothes fall where he stood. He walked to a sideboard, poured two fingers of amber whiskey into a heavy glass, and came to stand before her. He sipped, the ice clinking. He said nothing for a long time. He just looked. He drank in the slope of her shoulders, the curve of her breasts, the flush that still colored her chest. The sight of her kneeling, obedient, in the center of his domain was more potent than any drug.
“Crawl,” he said finally. “To the coffee table. Get on it. On your back.”
The polished obsidian table was cool and unyielding against her skin. She lay down, the hard surface a shocking contrast to the soft bed she’d imagined. She looked up at the ceiling, at the distant, abstract light fixture.
He approached, setting his glass down with a click. He stood between her spread legs, looking down at her exposed body. He ran his hands up the insides of her thighs, pushing them wider. “This,” he murmured, tracing her slick folds with a single fingertip, “is the most valuable thing in this room. More than any painting. More than the deal. This wet, hungry cunt that belongs to me.”
He circled her clit, watching her face. Her breath hitched. “You love being my possession, don’t you?”
“Yes,” she whispered. “I love it.” The admission, here in the stark light, felt more exposing than the physical nakedness.
“Prove it.”
He fisted his cock, stroking himself to full hardness as he watched her. Then he leaned over her, his body blotting out the light. He grasped her jaw. “Open.”
She did. He guided the head of his cock to her lips, rubbing it against them, smearing pre-cum. “Suck.”
She took him in, her tongue flattening against the underside. He pushed deeper, until the head nudged the back of her throat. He held himself there, his hand tangled in her hair. “Relax.”
She willed her throat to open, breathing hard through her nose. When she relaxed, he pushed forward, sliding deep into her mouth, his entire length sinking down her throat. He held it there, his pubic bone pressed against her lips, feeling the convulsive flutters of her gag reflex. Tears sprang to her eyes.
“Good girl,” he growled, and began to move. Slow, deliberate thrusts, fucking her mouth with a focused intensity. He set a rhythm that was merciless and controlled, each withdrawal leaving her gasping before he filled her again. Saliva gathered at the corners of her mouth. Her hands came up to rest on his thighs, not pushing, just anchoring herself.
When he was satisfied, when her eyes were streamed with tears, he pulled out with a wet pop. He pulled her up by the hair, off the table, and led her to the bed. From a drawer, he produced lengths of deep crimson silk rope.
“Hands on the headboard.”
She placed her wrists against the cool steel. He tied them with swift, efficient knots, secure but not cruel. The silk was smooth, a sensual promise of restraint. He pushed her onto her back, her arms stretched above her head, utterly open to him. He tied each ankle to a bedpost, spreading her wide.
He knelt between her legs, his gaze raking over her trussed and offered body. He leaned down and bit the inside of her thigh, hard enough to make her yelp. Then he laved the spot with his tongue. “Mine,” he whispered against her skin.
He didn’t tease. He positioned himself, the head of his cock pressing against her entrance. He looked into her eyes, seeing the wild cocktail of fear, trust, and desperate need.
He drove into her with a single, brutal thrust, burying himself to the root.
The cry that tore from her was pure, undiluted sensation. He didn’t pause. He set a relentless, pounding pace, each stroke a full, deep possession. The bed rocked with the force of it. The sounds were raw: the slap of skin, the creak of the frame, her ragged sobs and pleas.
“You feel that?” he grunted, his body slamming into hers. “That’s your place. Right here. On my cock. Taking everything I give you.”
“Yes! Janos, please!”
“You come when I say. Not before.”
He shifted, hooking her legs over his arms, driving even deeper. He could feel the coil of her impending orgasm tightening, a gathering storm. He leaned down, his mouth close to her ear. “Now. Come for me now. Scream my name.”
The permission unleashed her. Her body shattered, convulsing around him, a sharp, choked scream ripped from her lungs— “JANOS!”— as the waves crashed through her. The intensity of it, the violent submission, triggered his own release. With a final, driving plunge, he came, roaring, pumping his heat deep inside her, his own body buckling as he emptied himself.
He collapsed on top of her, his weight a warm, crushing comfort. He was still inside her, still tied to her. Their hearts hammered against each other, a frantic, syncing rhythm in the quiet room. Slowly, he raised himself up on his elbows and began to work at the silk knots with his teeth. He freed her ankles first, then her wrists, rubbing the faint marks left by the ropes.
He pulled out and gathered her against him, turning them onto their sides. She was limp, spent, her face pressed into his chest. He pulled the duvet over them.
Outside, the first grey hint of dawn began to bleed into the black sky over the Mediterranean. The phone, silent and dark on the console by the door, was a continent away. Here, there was only the sound of their breathing, and the profound, terrifying silence of a balance that had just irrevocably shifted.
