Chapter 3: Rising Action
The sun had begun its descent towards the horizon, casting long shadows across the lavish gardens of the Royal Palace as Nox stood before the heavy oak door of his chambers. He felt a sense of anticipation coursing through his veins, his heart pounding in his chest as if trying to escape from the confines of his chest. He ran a hand through his dark hair, smoothing down any errant strands before he reached for the ornate brass knob and pushed the door open.
Inside, the chamber was bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, casting flickering shadows on the extravagant tapestries that adorned the walls.
"Nox."
Maria's voice came from the dark, causing his heart to leap in his chest. He switched on a lamp, bathing the room in warm, yellow light as he approached her. Her silver hair shimmered and gleamed in the warmth of the lamplight, framing her flawless face.
Maria's eyes were as captivating as ever, a deep blue hue that seemed to draw him in and hold him there, trapped within their depths. Nox felt his breathing quicken, the anticipation building up within him like a dam about to burst.
Maria stood by the four-poster bed, her eyes never leaving Nox as she slowly unfastened the clasp of her robe, letting the silk garment fall away from her body in a whisper of soft fabric.
The sight of her perfect body, bare before him, was almost too much for Nox to bear.
The anticipation was unbearable; he could feel his body begging for release, for the sweet surrender of pleasure. Within moments, he was as bare as she, slipping into the warm embrace of the bed and wrapping his arms around her lithe frame.
"Nox," she whispered into his ear, her voice trembling with barely-contained desire. "I've missed you."
He groaned at the sound of his name on her lips, unable to hold himself back any longer.
Nox trailed his lips down the curve of her neck, savoring the taste of her skin, a heady mix of musk and lavender. He nipped at her collarbone, making her shiver with delight, before continuing lower to that perfect valley between her breasts.
Maria's breath caught in her throat as she felt his stubble scrape against her skin. She ran her fingers through his hair, pulling him closer as he closed his mouth around one pert nipple, teasing it with his tongue until it pebbled beneath his touch.
"Oh, Nox," Maria gasped, gripping his shoulder as a wave of pleasure washed over her. She could feel her core bucking and twisting, aching for his touch, and she wanted him inside her, deep and hard.
He sucked harder on her nipple, eliciting a moan from her lips before releasing it with a pop. He looked up at her, his emerald eyes shining with feral intent.
"Tell me what you want, Maria," he demanded gruffly, his hand already reaching for the waistband of his trousers.
"I want you, Nox," she breathed, giving him a wolfish smile. "I want all of you, hard and deep inside me."
His eyes darkened, and he tugged at his clothes, ripping them off his body in a fit of desperation. He stood before her, naked and ready, his manhood straining towards her like a wild beast.
"Fuck me," she whispered, her eyes locked on his. "Fuck me, now."
With a growl, Nox needed no further persuasion.
