Chapter 2: Transformation on the Bed
The silence in the car was a living thing, thick and suffocating. Celeste stared out the passenger window at the bleeding neon of the city, seeing nothing. The ghost of Venus’s taste—mint and copper—still clung to the back of her tongue. Every few blocks, a streetlamp would strobe across her face in the glass, illuminating eyes that were red-rimmed and empty. In the backseat, Venus meticulously reapplied lipstick using her phone screen as a mirror, her hands steady, her movements precise. The performance was back on, but it was brittle now, a crackle-glaze over shattered porcelain.
The masked man drove, an anonymous silhouette against the windshield. He’d tossed their transformed compacts into a duffel bag at their feet, the casual gesture more demeaning than theft.
“Jupiter’s next,” he said, his voice a digital rasp. “She’s home. Packing.”
Venus’s lipstick tube paused. “Lita’s gentle,” she whispered, not to him, to the night outside her own window.
“She is,” the man agreed. “Which is why you two will do the work.”
Jupiter’s apartment building was a bland, beige monolith. Her door on the third floor was marked with a cheerful, hand-painted plaque of a strawberry. The contrast to where they’d just been, to what they’d just done, was a sick joke. The man produced a key. The lock clicked.
Inside, the bedroom was a testament to a chaos born of hope. Moving boxes were stacked haphazardly, some sealed, others bursting with colorful fabrics and kitchen gadgets. Fairy lights were tangled around the bedposts, casting a frantic, twinkling glow over the disaster. It smelled of sugar, lavender, and something sharper, metallic—the lingering ozone of a transformation that failed to stabilize.
Jupiter—Lita—stood with her back to them, folding a cable-knit sweater. She was tall, strong, the muscles of her back visible through her thin tank top. Her chestnut ponytail was a messy cascade. She hummed a pop song, off-key.
“Lita,” Venus said, her voice a strained melody.
Jupiter turned. Her emerald eyes, warm and welcoming, took them in: Celeste’s shattered expression, Venus’s painted-on calm, the shadow in the doorway. Her smile faltered, died. The sweater fell from her hands.
“What’s going on?” Her voice was low, concerned. “Guys? Who’s—?”
“On the bed, Jupiter,” the masked man said, closing the door with a final, soft click.
The use of her codename did it. Her spine straightened, fighter’s instinct taking over. Green energy crackled faintly at her fingertips. “Get out.”
He didn’t move. He simply raised a hand, holding a phone. A video preview glowed on the screen—a blurred, shaky image of a much younger Lita, tears on her face, dressed in a parody of a Sailor uniform she’d stitched herself, whispering a transformation phrase that fizzled into nothing. A private shame, recorded in a childhood bedroom.
The crackling energy at her hands snuffed out. The color drained from her face. “Where did you get that?”
“The bed,” he repeated.
Her eyes darted to Celeste, to Venus, pleading. Celeste looked away, her own shame a hot coal in her gut. Venus gave a tiny, almost imperceptible shake of her head: Don’t fight.
Jupiter’s shoulders slumped. The immense physical strength she commanded seemed to leach out of her, leaving a weary vulnerability. She took two steps back and sat on the edge of her mattress, sinking into the rumpled lavender-scented duvet.
“You two. Strip her.”
Celeste flinched. Venus, however, moved. She approached the bed, her heels clicking on the hardwood. “Hey, Lita,” she murmured, her voice a nightclub purr. “It’s easier if you don’t fight.”
“Don’t touch me,” Jupiter breathed, but there was no force behind it.
Celeste forced her legs to carry her forward. This was worse than the park. This was a violation of sanctuary, of friendship. She stood on Jupiter’s other side. Their eyes met. Jupiter’s were wide with betrayal and a deep, bewildered hurt.
“I’m sorry,” Celeste mouthed, the words soundless.
Together, they worked. Venus pulled the tank top up and over Jupiter’s head, revealing strong shoulders and full, heavy breasts capped with pale pink nipples already tightened in the cool air. Celeste unbuttoned her jeans, tugged the zipper down. The denim was tight over powerful hips. Jupiter lifted herself, a mechanical gesture, letting them pull the jeans and her simple cotton panties down her legs. She kicked them off, then sat back, naked, covering her breasts with her arms, her thighs pressed tightly together.
“Open her up,” the voice from the doorway commanded.
Venus’s hands, gentle but insistent, pulled Jupiter’s wrists away from her body, guiding her to lie back. Celeste’s fingers trembled as she took hold of Jupiter’s knees. The skin was warm, soft. She pushed, and with a shuddering sigh, Jupiter let her legs fall apart, exposing the neat thatch of brown curls between her thighs.
“Mars. Get between them. Taste her.”
Celeste’s vision swam. The scent of lavender from the sheets mixed with the musk of Jupiter’s arousal—because she was wet, a faint, glistening hint of it visible. The betrayal of her own body. Celeste felt a violent surge of empathy, followed by a nauseating wave of shared degradation.
She knelt on the floor, the rough carpet biting her knees through her clothes. She leaned forward, her black hair falling like a curtain beside Jupiter’s thigh. She could feel the heat radiating from Jupiter’s core.
“Do it,” Jupiter whispered, a tear tracing from the corner of her eye into her hairline. “Just… do it.”
Celeste closed her eyes and pressed her mouth to Jupiter’s cunt.
The flavor was different from Venus’s—earthier, softer. Celeste’s tongue moved clumsily, a flat, wet stroke. Jupiter gasped, her hips giving a tiny, involuntary jerk. A low, pained sound came from her throat.
“Venus. Make Mars fuck herself on your fingers.”
Behind Celeste, fabric rustled. She felt Venus press against her back, the warmth of her body, the brush of her curls. Venus’s hand snaked around Celeste’s hip, diving unceremoniously under the waistband of her skirt. Her fingers, still slick from the park, found Celeste’s slit and pushed two inside without preamble.
Celeste groaned against Jupiter’s flesh, the sudden, brutal fullness short-circuiting her thoughts. Her own treacherous body responded, clenching, getting wetter as Venus’s fingers began a ruthless, pistoning rhythm.
The chain of command was complete. The masked man’s control flowed through Venus, into Celeste, into Jupiter. Celeste licked and sucked, trying to follow the cues of Jupiter’s twitches and hitched breaths. She found the hard nub of her clit and circled it with her tongue.
“Oh, god,” Jupiter moaned, the sound torn from her. One of her hands fisted in Celeste’s hair, not pushing her away, but holding on, anchoring herself as the sensations mounted. Her other hand gripped the duvet until the fabric threatened to tear.
Venus’s other arm wrapped around Celeste’s torso, pinning her, as her fingers fucked her harder, the wet, squelching noise obscenely loud in the twinkling room. “That’s it,” Venus hissed in Celeste’s ear, her performer’s breathlessness now laced with a raw, desperate edge. “Make her come. Make our strong girl fall.”
Celeste lost herself in the mechanics of it. The taste, the rhythm, the punishing drive of Venus’s hand. Jupiter’s thighs began to tremble, clamping against the sides of Celeste’s head. Her moans lost their pain, transforming into deep, guttural pleas. “Don’t stop, don’t stop, please—”
A crackle of energy, not from hands, but from her skin. A faint, verdant glow emanated from Jupiter’s abdomen, lighting up Celeste’s face from below.
“Yes,” the masked man breathed, taking a step closer.
Jupiter’s back arched clear off the bed. A strangled cry ripped from her as the orgasm seized her. It wasn’t a gentle wave; it was a convulsive storm. And as it tore through her, the green light exploded.
It filled the room, blinding and elemental. Celeste was thrown back, breaking the connection, landing hard on her elbows. Venus stumbled away, shielding her eyes.
Where Jupiter had been lying, naked and trembling, now sat Sailor Jupiter. The transformation was not a graceful shimmer. It was a violent eruption. The green skirt, white leotard, and bows materialized like snapping sails, cloth and ribbon molding instantly to her sweat-slicked, heaving body. Her tiara blazed on her forehead. The last pulses of her climax synced with the fading surges of emerald power that flickered over her uniform like dying lightning.
She slumped back onto the bed, fully transformed, chest rising and falling in ragged gasps. The smell of ozone was overwhelming.
Silence, broken only by their panting.
The masked man walked to the foot of the bed. He looked down at the spent, costumed guardian, then at Celeste and Venus, who were staring in horrified awe.
“Good,” he said, the modulator making the word sound devoid of all humanity. “Now you understand. This is the new trigger. Your power answers to a different call now. It answers to me.”
He bent, picking up Jupiter’s discarded civilian clothes, and dropped them onto her stomach. She didn’t move.
“Get her dressed. We have two more to collect.”
He left the room, leaving them in the glittering, ozone-charged dark with the wreckage of their friend, and the terrifying new truth of what they had become.
