Chapter 8: The Third Scene: The Final Ritual
The following Thursday, his inbox chimed with a new message from Margot. Final scene. Saturday. 8 PM. The ritual is one of devotion. That was all. The previous week’s profound stillness, the tangled, quiet aftermath on the bed, had settled in him like a sediment. The awkwardness was still there, a faint hum beneath his skin, but it was now joined by something else: a sense of capability, and a hunger to see it through.
When he descended the basement stairs at eight o’clock sharp, the transformation arrested him. The soft ivories and roses were gone. Now, the walls were draped in deep, emerald-green silk that absorbed the light. Black pillar candles flickered from sconces and the floor, casting long, wavering shadows that seemed to move independently. The air was thick with patchouli and the distinctive, clean scent of expensive wax. The massive bed remained, but it was dressed in black linen. The camera on its rig was a silent, polished obsidian eye.
The three women stood waiting. They wore matching black silk robes, tied loosely. Margot stepped forward, her demeanor different. Not softer, but more ceremonial.
“This is the final act of our contract, Aidan,” she said, her voice low and clear in the hushed room. “It’s about pure, focused worship. A homage to a specific form of intimacy. You will attend to each of us. With your mouth. Until we are satisfied. Then, you will take your tribute. Do you understand?”
He swallowed. “I understand.”
“Any hesitation?” Zola asked, a playful glint in her eye despite the solemn atmosphere. “Last chance to back out.”
He shook his head. “No hesitation.”
Cho smiled, a small, private thing.
“Then kneel,” Margot instructed, pointing to a spot before the bed covered in a plush, dark rug.
He knelt. The fabric was soft under his knees. The camera whirred to life, its red light a Cyclops in the gloom.
Margot untied her robe, let it slide down her shoulders, and approached him. She turned, her back to him, and then slowly lowered herself, guiding herself onto his face. Her weight was deliberate, commanding. The smooth skin of her inner thighs framed his vision; the dark, furrowed center of her was presented before him like an offering. The scent was musky, entirely human. “Worship,” she whispered, her voice husky.
He obeyed. He buried his face in her, his hands coming up to grip her hips. He used his tongue not just to lick, but to explore, to lavish attention on every fold, every tension point. He probed deeper, his nose pressed against her. She let out a sharp sigh, then began to move, a slow, grinding rotation that matched the rhythm of his tongue. Her fingers tangled in his hair, not guiding, just holding on.
“Yeah,” she breathed, her composure cracking into something raw. “Just like that. Your tongue is… fuck, Aidan.”
He lost track of time. He served her with a single-minded focus, the world narrowing to the taste of her, the sound of her breathing growing ragged, the feel of her muscles clenching under his hands. She came with a stifled, guttural cry, her whole body tensing before she sagged, lifting herself off him with a wet, final shift. She turned, her face flushed, and kissed him deeply, sharing her own taste. “Good,” she murmured against his lips. “Very good.”
Zola was next. Her energy was different. She sank onto his face with a contented groan, less a ritual and more a celebration. “Alright, superstar, let’s see what you learned,” she teased, wiggling her hips. She was more vocal, a running commentary of pleasured sighs and muttered encouragements. “Right there… oh, shit, yes. Your nose, too. Press it. Yeah.” She rode his face with enthusiastic vigor, her climax building in rolling waves until she shuddered and collapsed forward onto the bed, laughing breathlessly. “Okay, okay. Mercy. You win.”
Cho approached last. She was shy, hesitant. She paused before sitting, looking down at him with wide, serious eyes. “Okay,” she said, mostly to herself. Her descent was slow, tentative. When she finally settled, she was trembling. He was exquisitely gentle with her, using soft, broad strokes until he felt her relax. Then he focused, applying the same dedicated attention. Her response was quiet—a series of hitched breaths, a moan she bit back, her thighs pressing against his ears. Her orgasm was a silent, tensing quake that seemed to surprise her. She lifted off him quickly, scurrying to the side, her face buried in the black linen.
Margot helped him to his feet. His knees ached. His jaw was sore. She led him to the bed where Zola and Cho already lay, waiting.
“Your tribute,” Margot said, her hand slicking him with oil once more. She guided him to Zola first, who was on her stomach, arching her back. He entered her ass in one slow, continuous push. She gasped, her knuckles white on the sheets, then pushed back against him, taking him deeper. “God, you’re so fucking big,” she choked out, but it was praise, not complaint. He fucked her with the deep, powerful strokes they had commanded, each thrust landing with a soft, impactful slap. He felt his control, his capacity to give this specific, demanding pleasure, and it was intoxicating. He pulled out just as his climax threatened, spilling onto the small of her back with a rough groan.
Without pause, Margot directed him to Cho. She was on her side, curled slightly. He entered her from behind, and she made a small, sharp sound that morphed into a whimper. He moved slowly, allowing her tightness to adjust, watching the emotions flicker over her face in the candlelight: pain, surprise, then a dawning, overwhelming pleasure. He cupped her small breast, feeling her heart hammer against his palm, and came inside her with a series of shallow, possessive thrusts.
He was spent, trembling, but Margot wasn’t done. She lay on her back, legs raised and open. “Here,” she said, her voice leaving no room for argument. He knelt between her legs, his own body protesting. She was tight, impossibly so. She grimaced as he entered, her nails digging into his forearms. But her eyes were locked on his. “Finish it,” she commanded. It was the hardest work, a brutal, exquisite friction. He fucked her through her own climax, which clenched around him like a fist, and then through his own, a final, draining release that felt less like pleasure and more like a total surrender of will. He collapsed beside her, utterly hollowed.
The camera’s red light winked out.
Silence, save for their strained breathing. The black candles guttered.
After a while, Zola fetched a warm towel. They cleaned each other with a weary, familiar tenderness. They didn’t speak. They simply arranged themselves on the large bed, a tangle of limbs in the dark glow. Cho’s head was on his chest. Zola’s leg was thrown over his. Margot’s hand rested on his ankle again, a repeat of the previous week’s geometry, but now it felt like a full stop.
“The contract is fulfilled,” Margot said quietly to the ceiling.
Aidan stared up at the emerald silk. The question hung in the scented air, too terrifying to voice: What now? The ritual was over. The debt was paid. But the connection he felt in this quiet—the shared exhaustion, the unspoken intimacy—was a debt of an entirely different kind, one just coming due.
He closed his eyes. The peace he’d sought in this quiet neighborhood had been a fantasy of empty silence. This, here, was not peace. It was something alive, complicated, and real. And as sleep began to pull at him, he knew, with a certainty that thrilled and terrified him, that he had no desire for quiet anymore.
