Chapter 2: Building Tension
The air in Mallory's hotel room was thick with anticipation, a palpable tension that seemed to hum with the beat of the city's pulse outside. The room, a sleek, modern sanctuary, was bathed in the soft glow of mood lighting, casting long shadows that danced on the walls. The king-sized bed, with its crisp white sheets and plush comforter, was the focal point, a silent witness to the night's unfolding events.
There was a knock at the door. It was the two players Mallory had met in the elevator and invited to her room. But they brought friends. “Hope you don’t mind but we brought the rest of the team with us” he said. “We thought it’d be more fun this way.”
Mallory raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. “Well, I can’t say I’ve ever had a whole basketball team in my room before. But I’m always up for a challenge.”
The door swung open, and in they poured, a wave of youthful energy and testosterone. There were six of them, all tall and muscular, their eyes gleaming with a mix of excitement and nervousness. They were like a pack of wolves, and I was the lone wolf in their midst.
But I wasn't intimidated. I was a cougar, after all, and I knew how to handle these young bucks.
"Alright, boys," I said, my voice steady and commanding. "Let's get comfortable. You know the rules, right? No touching without permission, no names, and no talking unless you're talking to me."
They nodded, their eyes wide with a mix of awe and anticipation. I could see the questions in their eyes, the curiosity about what was about to unfold. I smiled, a slow, sultry curve of my lips, and the room seemed to grow warmer.
"Good. Now, let's start with introductions. I'm Mallory. You can call me Mal. And you are...?" I turned to the tallest one, his eyes a deep brown and his skin a warm ebony.
"Jax," he replied, his voice a low rumble.
I nodded, moving on to the next one. "And you?"
"Eli," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
I raised an eyebrow. "Confident, aren't you?" I teased, moving on to the next one.
"Luke," he said, his voice steady and sure.
I smiled, liking his confidence.
"Jake," he replied, his voice steady and sure.
I moved on to the next one, a young man with a mop of curly hair and bright green eyes.
"Sam," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
I chuckled, "You're a bit quiet, aren't you, Sam?"
He nodded, his cheeks flushing a soft pink. "Yeah, I'm not usually one to talk much."
I leaned in, my voice low and intimate. "Well, tonight, you'll have plenty of opportunities to talk.
But for now, let's focus on something more... physical." I winked at him, causing his blush to deepen. I turned to the last one, a young man with a lean, muscular build and a sharp jawline.
"And you are?" I asked, my voice playful.
"Drew," he replied, his voice steady and sure.
I nodded, satisfied with the introductions. "Alright, boys. Now that we're all acquainted, let's get started. Jax, you're up first."
Jax's eyes widened slightly, but he nodded, stepping forward. I could see the nervousness in his eyes, but also a spark of excitement.
