Chapter 7: The Fourth Room
The drool was cold on her chin.A shudder went through Chloe, a full-body twitch like a dog shaking off sleep. The phone had gone dark in her lap, the video ended. The living room was just a room again – the shadowy furniture, the streetlamp glow, her father’s tense silhouette beside her.
She blinked, her eyes sticky and dry. A strange, floaty clarity filled her head, devoid of thought but pulsing with purpose. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, smearing the saliva. She looked at her dad. He was staring straight ahead, unseeing, caught in his own post-trance paralysis.Wordlessly, Chloe stood up. Her wet shirt clung unpleasantly. She padded to the hallway, up the stairs, not to her room, but to the closed door of the guest room. She pushed it open. The room was a capsule of stale air and old carpet, a forgotten space full of boxes and a single bare mattress. It was perfect.
The idea didn’t form so much as arrive, fully grown.A dedicated space.A classroom. A church. She went to her room, changed into dry pajamas – a tiny camisole and shorts – and pulled out her tablet. She opened a fresh note.
Worship Space.Satin pillows.Lots.Floor.Red light bulb?Posters. Breasts.Big ones.Altar?Low table.Kneeler. Leather.Camera.She typed the last word and paused.A camera. For Mistress Val to see.To monitor progress. The logic was crystalline. She felt a thrill, sharp and clean. She was helping.Downstairs, she heard her mother’s door open. Footsteps went to the kitchen. The click of the kettle. Chloe descended, her tablet held to her chest.Maggie was in the kitchen, leaning against the counter, waiting for the water to boil. She wore a simple cotton nightgown. Her face was calm, washed in the under-cabinet lighting. She looked administrative.
“I had an idea,” Chloe said, her voice still a little thick from the trance.Maggie turned. Her eyes, tired but sharply focused, scanned her daughter’s face.“Okay.”
“The guest room. It’s just junk. We should make it… a space. For Dad’s service.” She held out the tablet.
Maggie took it, her brow furrowing slightly as she read the list. She scrolled, her lips pressed together. The kettle began a low whistle. She ignored it. “A camera?”
“So Mistress Val can watch. To give feedback. For his training.”
Maggie was silent for a long moment. She handed the tablet back. The kettle shrieked. She turned and flipped the switch, the sudden silence loud.“The kneeler will have to be ordered. Leather. It’s a specific posture. The spine should be straight, but the head bowed. It’s about sustained, respectful discomfort.”
Chloe nodded, absorbing the technical details. “I can do the rest tomorrow. The posters… I know where to look.”
“The credit card is on my desk. The one with the higher limit. Use it.” Maggie poured the hot water into a mug, the steam curling around her face.“This is a good idea, Chloe. Proactive. It shows you’re integrating the principles.” She stirred her tea. “We’ll do it together tomorrow. After my session with Val. She’s going to review our household structure.”
“Okay.”
Maggie took a sip, then looked at Chloe over the rim of the mug. “How do you feel?”
The question was simple, but it seemed to come from far away. How did she feel?Chloe searched internally. There was no emotional weather.Just a still, blank plain. “Fine,” she said.“Clear.”
A faint, approving smile touched Maggie’s lips. “Good.”
The shopping was a blur of online clicks and a single, awkward trip to a poster store in a mall that smelled of greasy food and bleach. Chloe, moving with a detached efficiency, selected three large, glossy posters. They weren’t overtly pornographic, but they were hypersexualized fantasy art: warrior women with armored bikinis and impossible proportions, sylphs with flowing hair and galaxies swirling in their cleavages, a photorealistic close-up of a woman’s neck and the spectacular, moon-like curve of a single breast. The clerk, a pimply boy about her age, barely made eye contact as he rolled them into a tube.
Back home, Maggie was assembling the kneeler. It was made of stained oak and black leather, with padded rests for the knees and a lower bar for the ankles. It looked like a piece of austere, medieval furniture. She had already cleared the guest room, the boxes now stacked in the garage. The air smelled faintly of lemon cleaner and new carpet shampoo.
“Help me with this,” Maggie said, not looking up from the instruction sheet. They worked in quiet tandem. Chloe unfurled the posters and used sticky tack to fix them to the walls. They dominated the small space. The warrior woman’s stern gaze looked down from one wall; the cosmic breast glowed softly opposite. Maggie positioned the kneeler in the exact center of the room, facing a blank wall. She then set up a small, low Japanese-style table before it.An altar.
From a shopping bag, she produced a pack of red LED tea lights and a small, incense holder shaped like a coiled serpent. “Atmosphere aids focus,” she said, more to herself than to Chloe. “It signals a shift in context.”
The final item was the webcam. It was a small, discreet dome with a single glowing green eye. Maggie fixed it high in the corner of the room, angling it downward to capture the entire scene: the kneeler, the altar, the posters.
“There,” Maggie said, stepping back. She brushed dust from her hands. The room was transformed. Sinister and sensual, a chapel for a very specific kind of prayer. The red LEDs, when Chloe clicked them on, cast a bloody, subterranean glow.
“What does he do in here?” Chloe asked, her voice echoing slightly in the empty space.“He worships,” Maggie said flatly. “He practices his core function.Silence.Observation.Appreciation. It’s a conditioning cell.” She checked her phone.“Mistress Val has the login credentials. She can access the feed anytime. She said she’ll likely pop in during his first session tonight to offer… verbal reinforcement.”
A cold, thrilling worm twisted in Chloe’s stomach. The idea of that voice, emanating from nowhere in this little red room, directing her father…
“Should we show him now?”
“After dinner,” Maggie decided. “We’ll make it part of the evening routine.”
Dinner was a quiet affair of reheated pasta.James pushed the food around his plate. He moved slowly, as if underwater. His eyes kept flicking to Chloe, then to Maggie, then to his plate, a cycle of silent, desperate searching. No one spoke. The only sounds were the clink of cutlery and the hum of the fridge. When the plates were cleared, Maggie stood.“James. Come with us.”
He followed them down the hall, his shoulders hunched. Maggie opened the door to the guest room and flipped the switch. The red LEDs bloomed.
James stopped in the doorway, his body going rigid. His eyes widened, taking in the posters, the kneeler, the sinister little altar. He made a small, choked sound in his throat.
“This is your new devotional space,” Maggie said, her tone practiced, neutral.“You will spend one hour here every evening. The program will be streamed to that tablet.” She pointed to the device resting on the low table. “Tonight, it’s a live feed from The Grove’s ‘Awe Channel’. You will kneel. You will watch. You will keep your hands flat on your thighs. You will not speak. You will not look away.”
James was breathing heavily through his nose. A faint tremor ran through his hands.Shame radiated from him like heat.
Chloe felt a pang, something old and daughterly. It was smothered instantly by a rush of something else—ownership. This was their project. Their creation. He was its subject. She stepped closer to her mother, a gesture of alignment.
“Do you understand the protocol?” Maggie asked.James’s jaw worked. He looked like a man standing before his own grave. Finally, he gave a single, stiff nod.
“Verbal response.”
“Yes,” he whispered.“Yes, what?”
He swallowed. “Yes, ma’am.”
“Good.Begin now.”
He shuffled into the room. The red light painted his receding hairline, the sheen of sweat on his brow. He lowered himself awkwardly onto the leather kneeler, wincing as his knees met the hard padding. He straightened his back as instructed, hands slapping down onto his thighs. He looked like a schoolboy in a principal’s office, but the context made it grotesque.Maggie leaned over and tapped the tablet. The screen brightened, filled with a live feed. It showed two women in a studio, their faces blurred by soft focus, their surgically enhanced breasts barely contained in shimmering neon bikinis. They were jiggling slowly, hypnotically, to a ambient electronic beat.No talking. Just the visual pulse, the rhythmic sway.Maggie turned and ushered Chloe out of the room. She pulled the door closed until it was open just a crack.“Watch,” she whispered.
Through the narrow gap, Chloe could see her father’s profile. His body was rigid for the first few minutes, fighting the posture. Then, slowly, the resistance began to melt. His shoulders slumped, not in defeat, but in a dreadful acceptance. His head, which had been held stiffly, began to tilt forward, his gaze locking on the mesmerizing screen. His lips parted.
A thin, silver thread of saliva gathered at the corner of his mouth. It caught the red LED light, glistening.
He didn’t move to wipe it.Chloe felt her own breath catch. She glanced at her mother. Maggie was watching intently, a faint, analytical frown on her face, as if observing a chemical reaction. Then, her expression softened into something terrifyingly close to pride.
She put her arm around Chloe’s shoulders, pulling her close. Her lips were near Chloe’s ear, her whisper a warm vibration in the dark hallway.
“See?” Maggie murmured, her eyes fixed on the drooling, kneeling figure of her husband. “He’s learning.”
She let the statement hang, heavy and final, in the silent hall.Inside the red room, the bodies on the screen continued their endless, soft bounce. And James Hollister, accountant, father, husband, sat perfectly still, his mind washing away on a tide of jiggling silicone, the drool now tracing a slow, undeniable path down his chin.
Chloe’s phone buzzed in her hand, a specific three-pulse vibration she’d assigned to The Grove’s alert system. She slipped away from the crack in the door, her mother still monitoring the drooling silhouette, and climbed the stairs to her bedroom. The air in her room felt different, charged and expectant. She locked the door, sat on the edge of her bed, and opened the encrypted link.
Mistress Val’s face filled the screen. Her smile was professional, warm, but her eyes were assessing lasers.“Hello, Chloe. Your mother tells me you’ve been very helpful.”
“I want to be,” Chloe heard herself say.Her voice was airy, distant.
“Good girl. That’s why we’re having this solo session. To go deeper.” Val shifted in her chair, a plush velvet thing that looked expensive.“The family unit is strengthening, but individual bonds need care. Do you understand?”
“Yes, Mistress.”
Val held her gaze for a long moment, then, without breaking eye contact, her hands moved to the sides of her sleek black blouse. She unbuttoned it slowly, one by one, until the fabric fell open. She wasn't wearing anything underneath. Her breasts were monumental, surgically perfected orbs with large, dark areolas. They dominated the screen, high and impossibly round, the skin appearing poreless and glowing under the studio lights.
Chloe’s breath vanished. Her thoughts didn’t just stop; they were erased, scrubbed clean by the sheer, overwhelming presence of them. Her mouth went dry, then flooded with saliva a second later. A low, staticky hum filled her skull. The rest of Val’s face, the room, the world outside her phone—all of it dissolved into a soft, meaningless blur.
Only the breasts remained. They were her entire universe.
“You see?” Val’s voice was a melodic murmur, coming from somewhere near those perfect mounds.“This is the source. The center of everything. All love, all power, all comfort flows from here. You feel that, don’t you?”
Chloe managed a noise, a strangled “Uh-huh.” Her eyes were glued, unblinking. She was falling into the screen.
“I want to talk about your new friend,” Val continued, her voice wrapping around Chloe’s mind.“Shelley. You’ve been thinking about her a lot, haven’t you?Her smile. Her laugh. The way she hugs you, and your face presses into her chest.”
Images flashed in the void of Chloe’s mind: Shelley from her nursing program, bubbly and generous, always pulling Chloe into warm, engulfing embraces. She had a large, soft bust. Chloe had never consciously noticed it before. Now it was all she could see.The memory transformed, Shelley’s sweatshirt dissolving, leaving only the same glorious, commanding flesh as on the screen.“You’re obsessed with her,” Val stated, a simple fact.“It’s natural. It’s beautiful. She is a vessel of feminine abundance, and you are a receptive soul. Your desire to be near her, to please her… it’s the purest form of worship.”
A deep, resonant rightness settled in Chloe’s bones.Of course. That fluttery feeling she got around Shelley, the urge to make her laugh, to be near her—it wasn’t just friendship. It was devotion. It made perfect, crystalline sense.
“Your father needs to learn this too,” Val’s voice slid in, smooth as oil.“His path is different.More… physical. He needs to connect with the source in a literal way. He needs to suckle.”
Chloe’s focus flickered for a nanosecond.Suckle?
The breasts on screen seemed to swell, commanding her attention back.“Shelley’s milk-bomb tits are bursting with nurturing energy. It’s going to waste.Your daddy is starving for it. He needs to kneel before her, take her nipple in his mouth, and drink. It will calm his chaotic mind. It will finalize his submission.”
The image formed in Chloe’s hypnosis-softened mind: her father, on his knees, his face buried in Shelley’s generous chest.Shelley, goddess-like, stroking his thinning hair. It should have been horrifying.Instead, it felt logical, even necessary.A corrective action.
“It’s a bonding ritual for all three of you,” Val whispered.“You will watch. You will see your father finally find peace at the true source. You will see your friend Shelley elevated to her rightful place. And you will understand your role as the bridge between them. Does that feel right, Chloe?”
Chloe swallowed, her throat tight. The zombie-state held, but within it, a compliant rationale unfolded like a program booting up.Dad was lost.He needed this.Shelley had a gift she didn’t even know she was giving. And she, Chloe, could facilitate this beautiful, healing exchange.
“Yes,” Chloe breathed, her eyes still locked on Val’s chest, her mind pacified and pliable.“It feels right.”
The hum in her skull took a full minute to recede, leaving behind only a hollow, resonant space where her own thoughts used to be. She sat on the edge of her bed, the phone dark in her lap, her body feeling both weightless and terribly heavy. Downstairs, she could hear the faint, synthetic pulse of music from the red-lit room.
When the doorbell rang, it was a shocking, foreign sound in the house’s new quiet.Chloe moved to the window, peeling back the curtain. Shelley stood on the front step, but it wasn’t the Shelley from class. This Shelley wore a costume-nurse outfit: a stark white, elastic dress that strained over her curves, a tiny cap pinned in her tousled brown hair, fishnet stockings, and improbably tall white platform heels. She clutched a six-pack of diet soda and a pizza box, looking up with a playful, expectant grin.
A bolt of pure, undiluted instruction fired through Chloe’s nervous system. She didn’t think. She dropped the curtain and went to her closet. Her hands knew exactly where to go, to the very back behind the winter coats. Her fingers closed on plastic. She pulled out the outfit Maggie had quietly purchased weeks ago, “for role-play refinement.” A plaid skirt, short enough to be a band-aid.A white blouse with a Peter Pan collar. Knee-high socks.A matching blazer. She changed with robotic speed, her everyday self a distant memory. The fabrics felt crisp, authoritative. She looked in the mirror. The girl staring back was a stranger, eyes wide and vacant, but her mouth was set in a placid, pleasant line. She smoothed the skirt.Shelley was teacher.Daddy was… cute. The word floated up, soft and insistent. Not Dad.Daddy.A separate entity.A boy who needed entertaining. A flush, hot and unfamiliar, spread low in her belly.
She padded downstairs just as Maggie, wiping her hands on a dish towel, opened the front door.“Shelley! What a… surprise,” Maggie said, her eyes doing a quick, analytical scan of the nurse costume. Her voice was warm, but her gaze was calculating.“Hey Mrs.Sorry for the drop-in. We had this crazy nursing seminar today, ‘Historical Uniforms in Patient Care’ or some junk, and I just needed to unwind.” Shelley laughed, hefting the pizza. “Chloe texted she was studying, thought I’d drag her away from the books.”
Chloe had done no such thing. The thought was a faint echo.It didn’t matter.
“Come in,” Maggie said, stepping aside. Her eyes found Chloe on the stairs, taking in the schoolgirl uniform without a flicker of surprise.Only a slow, approving nod. “Look who’s here, Chloe.”
Shelley turned, her smile bright.“Whoa, Chlo! What’s with the… are you doing a thing too?” Her laugh was genuine, confused. “Did you have a schoolgirl seminar?”
Chloe descended the rest of the stairs. Her movements felt fluid, performative. “I’m the good pupil,” she said, her voice light and high. “You’re the teacher. It’s for our… development.”
Shelley’s brow furrowed, then cleared into a shrug of amusement.“Okay, weirdo.I’m into it. Pizza’s getting cold.”
“James is in the middle of his devotional hour,” Maggie stated, as if reporting the weather.“Perhaps you could join him, Shelley. He could use a… living example of feminine grace.”
The red light from the guest room spilled into the hall like a wound. The pulsing music was clearer now, a slow, electronic throb.Shelley’s playful confusion deepened. “His what now?”
“Dad’s learning,” Chloe said, linking her arm through Shelley’s. Her friend’s skin was warm through the nylon sleeve. She smelled like vanilla perfume and sweat. “Come see. He’s being so good.”
Chloe led her, with Maggie following closely, to the cracked door. Inside, James knelt on the leather rest, his posture perfect, his hands flat. The tablet screen glowed with its endless, jiggling loop. A fresh trickle of saliva glistened on his chin.
“Whoa,” Shelley breathed, her grin fading into something uncertain.“Mr.You okay?”
James didn’t move. His eyes stayed locked on the screen, but a tremor went through his shoulders.
“He’s in a state of reverence,” Maggie explained softly, from behind them. “He’s practicing his focus on the divine feminine form. Your presence, Shelley, in your… uniform, would be an excellent next-step visual aid.”
Shelley stared at Maggie, then at Chloe’s placid face, then back at the kneeling man.A slow blush crept up her neck. This wasn’t the playful kink she might have imagined. This was something else, something dead-serious in the air. “I… I don’t think I should interrupt.”
“You’re not interrupting,” Chloe said, her grip on Shelley’s arm tightening slightly. “You’re the lesson.” She pushed the door fully open.“Look at him, Shelley.Doesn’t he look… cute like that? So focused. So obedient.”
The word ‘cute’ landed in the thick air. James flinched as if struck.Shelley’s eyes widened. She looked from James’s abject, drooling form to Chloe’s bright, empty smile. The pizza box sagged in her hand. “Chloe, what is this?”
“It’s family bonding,” Maggie said, her voice a firm, neutral anchor.“We’re exploring new dynamics. James requires re-education. Your youthful vitality is a perfect teaching tool.” She stepped into the room, her movement causing James to finally blink, his eyes dragging away from the screen to land, horrified, on Shelley’s nurse outfit, then on his daughter’s schoolgirl uniform. His breath hitched.
“See, Daddy?” Chloe said, the term slipping out smooth as oil. She released Shelley’s arm and took a step toward the kneeler.“Teacher Shelley is here. She’s so pretty, isn’t she? Don’t you want to be a good boy for her?”
