Chapter 3: The Waiting Game
The walk back from the poolhouse was a slow, surreal procession. Jimmy led the way, his ruined trunks dangling from one massive fist, his bare, monumental backside and everything else on full, unapologetic display in the late afternoon sun. He moved with a new, rolling gait, as if his thighs were too thick to not brush together. Every step was a statement.
Candy followed a few paces behind, waddling more pronouncedly now, feeling the heavy, separate sway of each breast and the broad, soft shelf of her rear. The inside of her mouth still tasted of him, a persistent, salty reminder. Her bikini felt like child’s clothing, the ties biting into flesh that seemed to have grown another half-inch in the last twenty minutes. The top’s underwire was a torture device, straining against the overwhelming weight it was never designed to hold.
Roxy brought up the rear, her progress a series of determined, wide-legged steps. She held a damp, wadded-up towel in front of her, more a token gesture than actual coverage. Her face was flushed, her breathing a little labored, but her eyes were bright, fixed on Jimmy’s back with a focus that made Candy’s stomach twist.
The music from the backyard—a warped pop playlist coming from a Bluetooth speaker balanced on the grill—grew louder. So did the voices. The sharp, ringing laughter of Tiffany. The lower, murmuring gossip of Chloe.
They rounded the corner of the house, and the scene on the pool deck froze for a three-count.
The giant, cracked flamingo drifted aimlessly. Empty margarita glasses, their rims crusted with salt, littered the small patio table. Four women were in various states of repose, but all movement had stopped.
Tiffany was perched on the edge of the pool, her back to them, her feet dangling in the water. Her jet-black hair was piled messily on her head. From behind, the tie of her pink bikini top was a desperate-looking knot between shoulder blades that seemed to be curving inwards under pressure. She’d been mid-sentence to Chloe, who was reclined on a lounge chair, one hand shading her eyes. Chloe’s ordinarily athletic, volleyball-player’s body looked… softer. Thicker. The sleek lines of her abs were blurred beneath a new layer of softness, and her breasts pressed against her sporty blue tankini with a newfound, rounded urgency.
The other two friends—Maya, a quiet brunette with deceptive curves, and Kim, a bubbly blonde who was usually Candy’s drinking buddy—were on floaties in the shallow end. They weren’t moving either. All four pairs of eyes were locked, not on Jimmy’s face, but lower. Much lower. The sheer, unabashed scale of his nudity, in the harsh, honest sunlight, was a different beast than the hinted-at bulge from earlier.
Chloe was the first to speak. She slowly lowered her hand from her eyes, her expression unreadable. “Well,” she said, her voice flat. “That explains the noise.”
Jimmy grinned, spreading his arms wide as if welcoming applause. “Little poolhouse detour. You know how it is.” He dropped the shredded trunks onto a deck chair. They landed with a wet plop.
Tiffany turned her head slowly, her gaze traveling up the impossible landscape of his body before settling on his face. Her expression was a complex mix of shock, annoyance, and a deep, burning curiosity she couldn’t hide. “We heard… thumping.” Her eyes flicked to Candy, then to Roxy, taking in their disheveled hair, their puffy lips, the general aura of spent chaos they radiated. “Sounded like you were rearranging furniture in there.”
“Something like that,” Roxy rasped, lowering her towel slightly as she heaved herself into a vacant lounger. The plastic frame creaked in immediate, alarming protest. She didn’t seem to care. She was watching the other women watch Jimmy, a faint, knowing smile on her lips.
Candy hovered awkwardly, feeling like a trespasser at her own party. She wanted to cover Jimmy, to throw a towel over that stupid, grinning face and that even more stupid, triumphant part of him. But a stronger, darker part, the part still throbbing from the poolhouse, wanted to see what happened next. The possessive knot in her chest was tangled with vines of something new: a defiant pride of ownership, and a terrifying curiosity about its limits.
“So it’s true, then,” Maya said from her floatie, her voice hushed. She was staring, mesmerized, at Jimmy’s sheer mass. “Chloe said you were getting bigger. I thought she was just drunk.”
“I am drunk,” Chloe said, sitting up. “But I’m not blind. Look at him. And look at you two.” Her sharp eyes scanned Candy and Roxy. “Your tops are… straining. Like, really straining. Did you all eat some kind of radioactive guacamole?”
A nervous giggle escaped Kim. She paddled her floatie closer to the edge. “It’s not just them. My suit feels tighter too. I thought I was just bloated from the margs.”
A tense, silent assessment passed between the women. It was true. Tiffany’s shoulders did seem more pinched by her top straps. Chloe’s tankini, once loose, now clung to a softer, fuller midsection. Maya’s modest curves had plumped, filling out her one-piece in new ways. The changes were subtler than the trio from the poolhouse, but they were there. A shared, unspoken condition.
Jimmy, blissfully unaware of the psychic storm, strode to the cooler and pulled out a beer. His hand enveloped the can. He popped the top, took a long swig, and belched. “Anyone else starving? I could murder a burger. Or six.”
“The grill’s cold, Jimmy,” Tiffany said, her tone brittle. “The party kinda… paused.”
“Yeah, wonder why,” Chloe muttered, not taking her eyes off him.
He just shrugged, his muscles rolling like boulders under his skin. He walked to the edge of the pool, near Tiffany, and crouched down to splash water on his face. The movement was catastrophic. From their angle, the women in the pool had a direct, unavoidable view. Kim gasped outright. Maya’s hand flew to her mouth. Tiffany’s jaw tightened, her knuckles white where she gripped the pool edge.
He was so close, so vast. The sheer, hanging weight of him, still semi-engorged from recent activity, was utterly mesmerizing. It was biological spectacle, rendering all pretense of conversation impossible.
Candy watched them watch him. A hot needle of jealousy pricked her heart. But alongside it, thrumming in time with the pulse between her legs, was that other feeling. Look, it whispered. Look at what’s mine. You can look, but you can’t touch. Unless I let you. The thought was alien, intoxicating.
Roxy, from her groaning lounger, lit a cigarette. The smoke curled up into the still air. “So,” she said, exhaling slowly. “The elephant in the room. Or, you know, the other elephant.” She gestured with the cigarette toward Jimmy, who was now just kneeling there, drinking his beer, letting the sun bake his ridiculous body. “We’ve all seen it now. Opinions?”
“Roxy!” Candy hissed, her face flaming.
“What?” Roxy’s eyes were challenging. “We’re all adults. Mostly. We’re all clearly affected by… whatever this is.” She gestured vaguely at her own body, at Candy’s, at the group. “Might as well talk about the main event.”
Chloe leaned forward, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial murmur the pool’s acoustics carried perfectly. “Candy. Be honest. How in the hell do you… manage that? Is it even functional? Or is it just for show?”
The question, so bluntly clinical, shattered the last of the polite facade. All eyes turned to Candy. Even Jimmy looked over, his expression one of mild, interested pride.
Candy’s throat went dry. She felt the weight of their expectation, their lurid curiosity. She remembered Roxy’s hand on top of hers, the collaborative feel of it. The power in it. She swallowed. “It’s functional,” she said, her voice quieter than she intended. She cleared her throat. “Very.”
A collective, shallow breath was drawn.
“Jesus,” Tiffany whispered, finally tearing her eyes away from Jimmy to look at Candy with something like respect. “And you… in the poolhouse… you did? With that?”
Candy nodded, once. The memory of the stretch, the gagging, the overwhelming fullness, made her thighs clench.
“She deepthroated it,” Roxy provided casually, taking another drag. “Like a champ. Saw it myself. Geometrically improbable, but she pulled it off.” There was a proprietary pride in her tone, as if she’d coached the winning play.
The revelation landed like a depth charge. Kim actually squeaked. Maya sank lower in her floatie, her eyes huge. Tiffany’s carefully maintained look of annoyance finally cracked, revealing pure, unadulterated awe. Chloe just stared, her mind visibly working.
“I call next.”
The words came from Chloe, spoken not as a joke, but with a quiet, serious intensity. She stood up from the lounger, her movements deliberate. Her changed body, softer and heavier, moved with a new, deliberate grace. “I mean it. If this is some weird, once-in-a-lifetime… growth spurt… I’m not just gonna sit here and look. I want to know what that’s like.”
The air left the pool deck. The only sound was the gurgling filter and the distant hum of a lawnmower somewhere.
Candy’s heart hammered against her ribs. This was the line, drawn in the concrete. Letting him go wild on all her friends. The synopsis in her mind wasn’t a fantasy; it was a pending reality, stated aloud by her friend with the calm certainty of ordering another drink.
Jimmy’s face lit up with a beatific, dopey smile. He looked at Candy, his blue eyes wide and hopeful, like a kid asking for a second scoop of ice cream. “Babe? That cool?”
All the conflicting emotions in Candy coalesced into a single, white-hot point of pressure. Possession warred with a perverse, expanding generosity. Jealousy dueled with the exhilarating power of being the gatekeeper. She looked at Chloe’s determined face, at Tiffany’s masked longing, at Kim and Maya’s stunned fascination. She looked at Roxy, who gave her a slow, almost imperceptible nod, as if to say, Why not?
The magic, or curse, or whatever it was, hummed in her veins. She felt another subtle shift in her own body, a soft, heavy settling in her hips, a delicious, aching fullness in her breasts that made her nipples tighten painfully against the bikini fabric. It was feeding on this. On the attention, the tension, the raw, sexual potential thickening the air.
She wasn’t just Candy anymore. She was the girlfriend of a walking spectacle. She was the one who could handle him. That made her a spectacle, too. And maybe, just maybe, it gave her a kind of control she’d never had before.
A slow, shaky smile touched her lips. It felt foreign. Dangerous. “It’s a big backyard,” she heard herself say, her voice surprisingly steady. “And he’s got a lot of… energy to burn off.” She paused, letting the implication hang. “So I guess we’d need some kind of system.”
The words were out. She’d said them.
Chloe didn’t hesitate. She walked to the edge of the pool, climbed out, water sluicing off her newly thickened frame. She didn’t bother with a towel. She walked right up to Jimmy, who was still kneeling, looking up at her with happy confusion. She was tall, but he still loomed over her even on his knees.
“System’s easy,” Chloe said, her eyes locked on his. “I go first. Then we see.” Her hand, bold and unflinching, came up and wrapped around his bicep. Her fingers couldn’t meet. She squeezed the rock-hard muscle, her expression shifting from determination to pure wonder. “Holy shit,” she breathed.
Jimmy beamed. “Told you I’ve been hitting it hard.”
Candy watched, her stomach a whirlpool. This was really happening. She’d allowed it. More than allowed; she’d set the terms.
More than allowed; she’d set the terms.
Chloe didn’t wait for further permission. Her hand slid from Jimmy’s bicep down to his wrist, her grip firm. “C’mon,” she said, her voice all business, but a faint tremor of excitement undercut it. “Over here. Less concrete.”
She led him, this giant, compliant man-beast, a few feet away to a patch of lawn where someone had spread out a large, striped beach towel. The afternoon sun baked the green fabric, making the colors seem too bright. Jimmy went willingly, his grin never faltering, looking back at the assembled women as if he were the star of a parade.
The rest of them were statues again. Tiffany had pulled herself fully out of the pool and now stood dripping, arms crossed over her chest, which only served to push her breasts higher, making the strained bikini top look like a technicality. Kim and Maya had abandoned their floaties and now sat on the pool’s edge, legs in the water, frozen in identical poses of rapt anticipation. Roxy took a long, final drag from her cigarette and stubbed it out on the arm of her lounger, her eyes never leaving the lawn.
Candy remained standing, rootless. Her own breath felt too loud in her ears. She watched Chloe give Jimmy a little push on his chest. He sank down to sit on the grass beside the towel, his tree-trunk legs sprawling.
“Lie down,” Chloe instructed him, a coach preparing an athlete.
He blinked, confused. “Me? I thought I was supposed to—”
“Just lie down,” Chloe repeated, a spark of her old, athletic authority returning. “On your back. Trust me.”
Shrugging, Jimmy complied. He leaned back, his massive frame flattening a significant portion of the lawn. His head rested near the concrete curb of the pool deck. The sun hit him full on, gleaming off the sweat and chlorined water on his hyper-defined abdomen, casting stark shadows in the valleys between each absurd muscle group. And there, rising from the thatch of blonde hair at his groin, was the central fact of him, jutting toward the sky like a monstrous, fleshy obelisk. It was even more intimidating in this passive, reclined position—a challenge simply existing.
Chloe stood over him for a moment, her shadow falling across his hips. She was studying him, not with lust, but with a kind of intense calculation. She bit her lower lip. The casual confidence she’d mustered seemed to waver for a second, confronted by the sheer geometry of the task.
“You okay, Chlo?” Tiffany called out, her tone unreadable.
“Peachy,” Chloe shot back, not looking away. She took a deep, steadying breath that made her expanded chest rise and fall. Then she moved. She knelt on the towel, not between his legs, but beside his hip. She placed a hand on his lower stomach, her fingers splayed. The contact made his skin twitch.
“Just… stay there,” she murmured, more to herself than to him.
Then, with a fluid, decisive motion, she swung one leg over his torso and lowered herself to straddle his hips. She wasn’t facing him. She was facing the pool, facing the audience. Her back was to Jimmy’s chest, her own body positioned reverse-cowgirl atop him. It was a strategic move; it let her control the angle of descent, and it spared her from having to see the dumb, eager look on his face.
A collective, silent understanding passed through the women. This was smart. This was Chloe taking agency in a situation designed to render her passive.
Jimmy’s hands, which had been resting at his sides, came up. They settled not on her waist, but lower, his enormous palms clamping onto the full, soft flesh of her outer thighs. His fingers nearly met. He wasn’t guiding her; he was holding her, as if she were the handlebars of a terrifying, exciting new machine.
“Whoa,” he said, his voice a low rumble of appreciation. “You feel… bigger.”
“Shut up, Jimmy,” Chloe said, but there was no heat in it. Her focus was absolute. She arched her back, presenting the round, perfect curve of her rear to him and to their friends. Using one hand behind her to brace herself on his rock-hard thigh, she used the other to reach between her own legs.
She found him. The air crackled.
Candy could see the concentration in the line of Chloe’s shoulders, the slight tremor in the arm that was supporting her weight. From this angle, Candy had a perfect view of Chloe’s face in profile—her eyes squeezed shut, her mouth a tight line of effort, then astonishment.
Slowly, so slowly it was agonizing to watch, Chloe began to lower herself.
It wasn’t a smooth slide. It was a progressive, millimeter-by-millimeter conquest. Her body resisted the invasion, then yielded, then resisted again. Jimmy’s grip on her thighs tightened, his knuckles whitening, not pushing but anchoring. A low, involuntary groan escaped him, a sound of pure, uncomplicated pleasure.
Chloe’s own breath hitched. Her eyes flew open, wide and unseeing, fixed on the sparkling blue water of the pool. Her mouth fell open in a silent ‘O’. She stopped, suspended, only a fraction of him inside her. Her whole body was taut, trembling with the strain of holding that position and with the shocking, unprecedented fullness.
“Fuck,” she finally breathed, the word torn from her. “Fuck, Candy. How did you…?”
She didn’t finish the thought. With a ragged gasp, she let her weight drop another inch.
The stretch was visible. It was a breathtaking, impossible thing to witness. Jimmy’s ego, already a tangible force in the backyard, swelled with the physical evidence. His grin turned smug, his vacant eyes taking on a glazed, triumphant sheen. He watched the top of Chloe’s head, her reddening neck, the way her hair stuck to her skin with sweat. He was the cause of this. He was the instrument of this profound, bodily shock.
“That’s it,” he encouraged, his voice thick. “Just take it. You got it.”
Chloe made a sound that was half-sob, half-laugh. “Don’t… patronize me… you gigantic… asshole.” But she was moving again, sinking deeper, her body gradually, inexorably, accepting more of him.
The feeling was clearly overwhelming her. The analytical cool was gone, vaporized by sensation. Her head lolled back, her shoulders slackening. The hand that had been bracing on his thigh now clutched at it, fingernails digging into the iron-like muscle. Her other hand, the one that had guided him, fell away, dropping to her own knee as if she’d lost all strength.
She was fully seated now, or as fully as anatomy would allow. She was impossibly full, stretched to a limit she’d never conceived of. Her body shuddered, a series of fine tremors that ran through her from core to extremities. A thin, high whine escaped her clenched teeth.
Jimmy’s chest puffed out. He shifted his hands, sliding them up from her thighs to her hips, now completely engulfing them. He gave a gentle, experimental roll of his own hips beneath her.
The effect on Chloe was instantaneous and catastrophic. Her back arched violently, her spine bowing. A sharp, gasping cry ripped from her throat, devoid of words, pure raw reaction. Her eyes, wide and unfocused, snapped to Candy’s. In them was a galaxy of feeling: shock, pain, a dizzying crest of pleasure, and a dazed, thankless recognition.
Everyone was watching. The tableau was hypnotic. Tiffany had uncrossed her arms, her hands hanging limply at her sides. Kim had one hand pressed over her own mouth, her eyes like saucers. Maya was breathing in quick, shallow pants, as if she were the one being penetrated. Roxy was leaning so far forward in her lounger it threatened to tip, a hungry, approving smile on her lips.
Candy felt carved out. The jealousy was a cold, sharp stone in her gut. But it was surrounded by a warm, pooling, treacherous arousal that made her own transformed body ache and pulse. She was watching her boyfriend—her possession—fill her friend, and a part of her was fiercely, primally glad. She had allowed this. This spectacle was hers to grant. The power was a drug, headier than the margaritas, more potent than the weird magic thickening the air.
Jimmy began to move in earnest now, short, deep thrusts that lifted Chloe’s entire body with each motion. He wasn’t gentle, but he wasn’t brutal either; he was just operating on a scale that rendered subtlety meaningless. Each movement punched another choked sound from Chloe—little “uh, uh, uh” gasps that syncopated with the slap of skin and the creak of the lawn under his shifting weight.
Chloe’s hands scrabbled for purchase, finally finding and gripping her own swollen breasts through the blue tankini. She squeezed them roughly, as if the pressure there could somehow balance the overwhelming pressure below. Her head tossed from side to side, her earlier control utterly demolished. She was just a vessel now, being filled and used, riding a wave of sensation so powerful it had erased her.
“See?” Jimmy grunted, his voice strained with effort and pride. He looked past Chloe’s rocking form, seeking Candy’s gaze. “She’s getting it. Told you they’d all love it.”
His ego wasn’t just growing; it was inflating, becoming a physical presence as large as he was. The magic in the air seemed to pulse in time with his thrusts, a visible heat shimmer rising from their joined bodies. As Candy watched, a faint, golden ripple seemed to pass over Jimmy’s skin. The already colossal mounds of his pectorals tightened, swelling just a fraction more. The veins on his arms grew more pronounced, like cables under marble.
And Chloe was changing, too. Not just in her overwhelmed expression, but physically, in real time. Each deep, driving stroke seemed to impact her very structure. The softness she’d gained earlier was hardening, rounding, becoming something more intentional. Her hips, gripped by Jimmy’s huge hands, appeared to widen against his palms. The flesh of her thighs, already trembling, grew denser, heavier. Her breasts, squashed in her own grip, swelled further, the tankini’s spandex fibres singing a threadbare protest.
It was the poolhouse all over again, but public. Accelerated.
“Oh, god… oh, god, I’m…” Chloe’s words were fragments, lost. Her body tightened around him, seizing up. A climax took her not with a cry, but with a strangled gulp, a full-body convulsion that looked almost painful. She stiffened, her back impossibly arched, and then collapsed forward onto her hands and knees, scrambling off of him with a frantic, uncoordined urgency.
She didn’t go far. She just rolled onto the grass beside the towel, curling onto her side, gasping for air like a diver who’d been too deep. Her body gleamed with sweat. She was staring at nothing, completely shattered. The evidence of Jimmy’s size, glistening on her inner thighs, was stark against her tan skin.
Silence descended, broken only by Chloe’s ragged breathing and the hum of the pool pump.
Jimmy sat up. He looked down at himself, then at the wrecked form of Chloe, then at the ring of stunned faces. His expression was one of profound, unshakable satisfaction. He ran a hand through his sun-bleached hair. “Okay,” he said, his voice booming in the quiet. “Who’s next?”
