Chapter 2: Building Tension
The library was a sanctuary of silence, the towering bookshelves casting long, dancing shadows under the soft glow of the vintage lamps. The air was thick with the scent of aged paper and the faint hum of fluorescent lights, a symphony of hushed whispers and the occasional turning of a page. Students huddled over textbooks, their faces illuminated by the soft glow of laptop screens, but the air was thick with the tension of unspoken desires, the promise of something more than just academic pursuits.
Shiven leaned against one of the bookshelves, his arms crossed over his chest, his dark hair tousled in a way that made him look like he'd just rolled out of bed.
"You're staring," he murmured, his voice low and teasing, but his eyes were sharp, assessing Ranvir’s reaction.
Ranvir swallowed hard, his fingers tightening around the strap of his backpack. He could feel the heat rising in his face, the way his pulse was racing. "I wasn't staring," he said, his voice coming out higher than he intended. "I was just... looking around. Checking out the vibe."
Advika laughed softly, her fingers brushing against Shiven’s arm. "Oh, Ranvir, you're so bad at this," she said, her voice dripping with amusement.
"You're not fooling anyone. You were staring, and you know it." She leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a low purr. "And I liked it."
Shiven's gaze flicked between the two of them, his expression unreadable. "You two are an interesting pair," he said, his voice casual, but there was an undercurrent of tension in his words. "I've never seen Ranvir like this before."
Advika's lips curved into a slow, knowing smile, her dark eyes gleaming with mischief. And what exactly have you seen him like before?"
Shiven shrugged, his gaze never leaving Ranvir's face. "He's usually more... reserved.
He keeps to himself, doesn't let people in easily. But today, he's... different. He's tense, on edge. And I don't think it's just because of the homework he's supposedly doing."
Advika's gaze flicked back to Ranvir, her eyes narrowing slightly as she studied him. "He's jealous," she said, her voice matter-of-fact, as if she were stating the weather. "He wants you, Shiven. And he doesn't like that I'm here with you."
Shiven's eyebrows shot up, his expression one of genuine surprise. "What are you talking about? Ranvir's like a brother to me. We've known each other since we were kids.
You know that," Shiven said, his voice low and steady, but his fingers tightened around Advika's waist just enough to let Ranvir know he wasn't joking. "And Ranvir knows I'd never do anything to hurt him."
Advika smirked, her dark eyes flickering over Ranvir's face with a knowing glint. "Oh, I know you wouldn't. But that doesn't mean Ranvir does. He's been watching you two like a hawk since we met. He's jealous, Shiven. And I think he wants to be the one to watch you."
Ranvir clenched his jaw, his fingers digging into the straps of his backpack.
"That's ridiculous," he said, his voice coming out sharper than he intended. "I'm not jealous. I just... I don't want to see you get hurt, Shiv. You know how some people can be."
Shiven's gaze softened, his expression turning serious. "I know, man. I know. But I can handle myself. And I promise, I won't let anyone hurt you either."
Ranvir nodded, his throat tight.
He pulled advika into himself completely her tits fully pressed against him as his hands cupped her ass "you need to listen to me behave advika" he said his voice low and firm. Advika's eyes widened in surprise, her lips parting slightly as she looked up at him. "What do you mean, behave?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Shiven clawed at her ass "do whatever you want with me poke me. Tease me whatever if you try on ranvir as well'
he said his voice low and breathy as he leaned in and whispered in her ear. 'I am yours but I’ll also be his' he said his eyes never leaving hers. Ranvir’s breath caught in his throat, his fingers tightening on her waist. He could feel the heat radiating off her body, the way her skin was flushed and warm beneath his touch.
Advika’s breath hitched, her eyes fluttering shut for a moment before she opened them again, her gaze flickering between Shiven and Ranvir. Her lips parted, her tongue darting out to wet them. "You’re both so… *intense*," she murmured, her voice a low, breathy purr.
"I like it. I like it a lot."
Shiven's lips curved into a slow, knowing smile, his fingers tightening just slightly on her waist. "We can be even more intense, if you want," he said, his voice low and warm, a promise in his words.
Ranvir's breath caught in his throat, his fingers digging into her hips. He could feel the tension coiling in his stomach, the way his heart was pounding in his chest.
Advika's eyes sparkled with amusement, her lips curving into a slow, knowing smile.
"oh I do want but I just want you shiven" she whispered her voice barely audible as she leaned forward and pressed her lips to his ear. "I want you to touch me, to kiss me, to make me yours."
Shiven's breath hitched, his fingers flexing against her waist. He could feel the heat radiating off her, the way her body was pressed against his, her curves fitting perfectly against him. Ranvir watched, his chest tightening with a mixture of envy and longing.
"Shiven," Ranvir said, his voice rough. "I can't just stand here and watch."
Shiven turned his head slightly, his gaze meeting Ranvir’s. "You don’t have to," he said, his voice low and reassuring.
"Why don't you go grab us some coffee? I'll wait here with Advika."
Ranvir hesitated, his gaze flicking between Shiven and Advika. He could see the way she was looking at Shiven, her dark eyes filled with a hunger that made his stomach twist. He knew he should walk away, give them some space, but he couldn't. He was rooted to the spot, held captive by the sight of them. "Go get us some coffee. Please."
Ranvir took a deep breath, steeling himself before he nodded.
"Yeah, coffee. I'll be right back." He turned on his heel, his heart pounding in his chest. The library was quiet around him, the only sound the faint rustle of pages and the occasional hum of a fluorescent light. He felt their eyes on him as he walked away, the weight of their attention heavy on his shoulders.
He made his way to the coffee station, his fingers fumbling with the machine as he tried to order his thoughts. He needed to clear his head, to figure out what he was feeling. He was jealous, he realized. He had never been jealous before, not like this. The thought made him feel vulnerable, exposed.
He didn't like it. He didn't like feeling out of control, and that's exactly what Advika and Shiven made him feel. He poured the coffee, the hot liquid sloshing over the sides of the cups, scalding his fingers. He hissed, sucking on the burn, his mind racing.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He needed to get a grip. He was acting like a lovesick teenager, not a grown man. He was being ridiculous. He was just... confused. That was all. He was confused about his feelings, about what he wanted. He had never felt this way before, never felt this... drawn to someone. To two people.
He had always been content with his own company, with the quiet comfort of his own thoughts. But now, he was suddenly aware of the emptiness inside him, a void that he hadn't even known existed until now. He wanted to fill it, to fill it with them. He wanted to be a part of whatever it was that they had, that connection that he had seen between them. He wanted to understand it, to be a part of it.
He took a deep breath, steeling himself before he turned around, the two coffee cups clutched tightly in his hands. He could see them from across the library, their heads bent together, their voices low as they whispered to each other.
Shivens hand was resting on advikas inner thigh so thick and creamy that it made Ranvir's breath catch. He could feel the heat radiating off them, the way their bodies seemed to be in sync with each other, like they were two halves of the same whole. He wanted to be a part of that, to be the third piece that completed the picture.
Ranvir took a steadying breath, forcing himself to walk forward without breaking into a run. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, the way his pulse was racing through his veins. He could smell the faint scent of coffee and Advika's perfume, something sweet and floral that clung to him. He walked up to them, his legs feeling unsteady, his hands trembling just slightly as he handed over the coffee cups.
"Here you go," he said, his voice rougher than he intended.
Advika took the cup from him, her fingers brushing against his. Her eyes flicked up to meet his, dark and knowing, as if she could read the storm brewing inside him. "Thank you," she murmured, her voice soft but laced with something else—something that made his pulse quicken.
Shiven glanced up from where he had been tracing idle circles on Advika’s thigh. His green eyes met Ranvir’s, and for a moment, something unspoken passed between them. "Thanks, man," he said, his voice warm but low, as if they shared a secret.
His gaze flicked back down to Advika’s thigh, his fingers pausing just above the hem of her dress. Ranvir’s breath hitched as he watched the way Shiven’s thumb traced a slow, deliberate path along the silky fabric, barely an inch from where Advika’s knee bent.
"advika can I go further in?" Shiven asked as his hand reached the hem of her dress . His voice was a low murmur, barely audible, but Ranvir heard it clearly. He felt his pulse quicken, his body responding to the tension in the air.
Advika bit her lower lip, her eyes fluttering shut for a moment before she nodded. "Yes," she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. "I want you to."
Shiven slid his hand up her thigh, his fingers grazing the soft skin beneath the fabric. Ranvir watched, transfixed, as Shiven’s fingers moved higher, his touch deliberate and teasing. The hem of her dress rode up slowly, revealing more of Advika’s toned legs, the smooth skin glistening under the soft library lights.
Ranvir’s breath hitched, his fingers tightening around the coffee cup until his knuckles turned white. He could feel the heat radiating off her, the way her body seemed to hum with anticipation.
Shiven’s fingers paused just below the edge of her panties, his thumb brushing against the delicate lace with deliberate slowness. "You’re so wet already," he murmured, his voice a low, teasing purr.
Advika’s breath caught, her fingers digging into Shiven’s arm. "Shiven," she gasped, her voice trembling with need.
Ranvir’s gaze snapped back to hers, his chest tightening. "You’re killing me," he admitted, his voice rough.
"I can’t just stand here and watch you two like this." He stepped closer, his voice dropping to a low, urgent tone. "I want to be part of this. I want to touch you both."
Advikas reaction was instant disgust "ew shiven no way in hell i mean he looks so bad" she said her face twisting in revulsion.
Shiven's hand paused, his gaze flicking up to meet Ranvir's. "What are you talking about, Advika?" he asked, his voice low and confused.
Ranvir's heart sank, his stomach twisting into knots. He had misread the situation, had let his jealousy and desire cloud his judgment. He had thought... he had thought that Advika wanted him too, that there was something between them. But he had been wrong. He had been so, so wrong.
"I'm sorry," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I thought... I thought you wanted me too.
I thought we had something, the three of us." Ranvir's voice was barely above a whisper, his eyes downcast, unable to meet Advika's gaze. He felt humiliated, exposed. He had laid himself bare, and she had rejected him.
Shiven's hand slipped from Advika's thigh, his expression turning serious. "Ranvir, that's not what she meant," he said, his voice low and steady. "She's just surprised, that's all. She didn't mean to hurt you."
Advika's expression softened, her eyes widening in realization. "Shiven's right, Ranvir. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. That wasn't my intention.
I didn't mean to sound like that. I was just caught up in the moment. I'm sorry if I upset you both." Ranvir's voice was barely audible, his fingers still clenching the coffee cups. He felt like he was drowning in his own thoughts, the weight of his embarrassment pressing down on him.
Shiven stepped forward, his hand gently brushing Ranvir's shoulder. "Hey, it's okay. We all get caught up in things sometimes." His voice was calm, reassuring. "Advika, I think you owe Ranvir an apology."
Advika looked at Ranvir, her expression softening. "I'm sorry, Ranvir. I didn't mean to come off like that.
I was just... surprised. I didn't expect you to say that, Ranvir. I didn't know you felt that way." Her voice was soft, sincere, and Ranvir felt a small measure of relief wash over him.
"It's okay," he said, his voice still quiet. "I overstepped. I shouldn't have assumed..." He trailed off, shaking his head.
Shiven's hand was still on his shoulder, a steady presence that grounded him. "No one's blaming you, Ranvir. We're all just figuring this out, right?" Shiven's gaze flicked between the two of them, his expression thoughtful. "Shiven please I need your hand back there" advika whispered breathlessly as she leaned into him, her fingers clutching at his wrist. "I want you to touch me there, right now."
Ranvir watched, his breath catching as Shiven's fingers slid beneath the hem of her dress, his thumb pressing against the delicate lace of her panties. His touch was light, teasing, but Ranvir could feel the tension in Shiven's body, the way his muscles were coiled like a spring, ready to explode.
"Shiven," Advika gasped, her voice trembling. "Please."
Ranvir's fingers tightened around the coffee cup, his knuckles aching. He wanted to touch her too, to feel her skin beneath his hands, to hear her moan his name.
But he couldn’t move, couldn’t breathe properly. The library was too quiet, the air too thick, the tension between them suffocating.
Shiven’s fingers moved in slow, deliberate circles, his thumb pressing harder against the lace of her panties. Advika’s breath hitched, her body arching slightly into his touch.
Ranvir’s throat tightened. He could see the way her lips parted, the way her eyes fluttered shut as Shiven’s touch sent shivers down her spine. He wanted to be the one doing that. He wanted to be the one making her feel like that.
Shiven’s gaze flicked up to meet Ranvir’s, his expression dark with desire. "She's out of your league bro sorry" he murmured, his voice a low growl. "You’re not even close." His fingers moved faster, his thumb pressing harder against the lace, and Advika’s breath hitched again, her body trembling in response.
Ranvir’s jaw clenched. "You’re playing with fire, Shiven," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "If you keep this up, I’m going to lose control."
Shiven smirked, his eyes never leaving Advika’s flushed face. "Then you better watch me, Ranvir." He slid his hand higher, his fingers brushing the bare skin of her inner thigh.
"You’re so wet for me, aren’t you?" Shiven murmured, his voice a low, dark purr. Advika’s breath hitched, her fingers digging into Shiven’s wrist. "Shiven, please—" she gasped, her voice trembling with need.
Ranvir’s chest tightened. He could feel the heat radiating off them, the way their bodies were pressed together, the way Shiven’s touch was making Advika’s breath come in short, sharp gasps. He wanted to be the one who could make her feel like that.
Shiven’s gaze flicked up to Ranvir’s, his eyes dark with desire.
"You’re jealous, aren’t you?" he murmured, his fingers stilling just an inch from Advika’s center. Ranvir’s breath hitched, his chest tightening. "I can’t help it," he admitted, his voice rough. "I want you both."
Advika’s head snapped up, her eyes widening as she turned to face Ranvir. "You want *both* of us?" she asked, her voice breathless, her lips parted. "You want to be part of this?"
Ranvir swallowed hard, his fingers tightening around the coffee cup. "I want to touch you," he said, his voice low and urgent. "I want to see you like this, Advika."
"then do one thing go home and sleep because you're only touching this in your dreams" she said her voice cold and dismissive as she turned her attention back to Shiven. "Advika, that's not fair," he said, his voice low and steady. "Ranvir's just trying to be honest with us. He's being vulnerable, and you're shutting him down."
Advika's eyes narrowed, her lips pressing into a thin line. "I'm not shutting him down, Shiven. I'm just telling him the truth. He's not my type.
I don't date guys who look like they just rolled out of a frat house. You're cute, but you're not my kind of cute. You're the kind of cute that makes people laugh and forget their own names. I need someone who can keep up with me, someone who's as hungry as I am." Her voice was a low, confident purr, her dark eyes flickering back to Shiven.
"you just keep on touching me daddy and I'll swing over by night and I promise I'll let you stick it anywhere" she said her voice low and breathy as she leaned in and whispered in his ear. Shiven's breath caught in his throat, his fingers flexing against her thigh. He wanted to be the one making her feel like that, the one she was whispering to, the one she wanted to touch her.
But he couldn't move, couldn't speak.
The words hung in the air between them, thick with unspoken tension. He watched as Shiven's fingers slid beneath the hem of Advika's dress, his touch deliberate, almost reverent. The way she arched into his touch, the way her breath hitched, the way her eyes fluttered shut—it was intoxicating. Ranvir felt his own body responding, his pulse quickening, his chest tightening.
"Ranvir," Shiven murmured, his voice low and rough. "You're killing me here."
Ranvir shook his head, trying to clear the fog of desire clouding his thoughts. "I don't know what I'm doing," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper.
He rubbed at his temples, feeling the tension knotting his shoulders. "I just... I can't stop thinking about you two. It's like I'm drowning in it."
Shiven’s fingers stilled against Advika’s thigh, his expression softening. He turned to Ranvir, his green eyes searching his face. "You don’t have to figure it out right now," he said gently. "We don’t have to rush anything. But if you want to be part of this, you have to be honest with yourself first."
Ranvir exhaled sharply, his breath shaky. "I want to be part of this," he said, his voice steadier now. "But I don’t know how."
