A mind controlling and reality altering sorcerer infiltrates a normal suburban family and perverts their lives to his own desires

Chapter 5: The Mother's Awakening

The lavender-scented laundry detergent couldn’t mask it anymore. Eleanor Vance stood at the bottom of the stairs, a bundle of clean towels in her arms, and sniffed the air. It was a metallic tang, like ozone after a lightning strike, underneath the floral plug-in she’d just replaced. And something else. Something musky, animal. It was coming from upstairs.

“Anya?” she called out, her voice deliberately light. “You home, honey? I haven’t seen you all day.”

No answer. Just the low, persistent hum that seemed to vibrate in the walls lately. She’d blamed it on the old wiring.

Frowning, she climbed the stairs. Anya’s door was shut. From behind it came a rhythmic, wet thumping sound. A slow, relentless cadence. Thump.Thump. Thump.“Anya? You okay?” Eleanor’s knuckles rapped against the wood. “You’re missing dinner. Dad grilled.”

The thumping didn’t stop. If anything, it gained a fraction of speed. A low, guttural moan filtered through the door, a sound so devoid of pleasure it was just a raw emission of effort.

Motherly concern curdled into a cold spike of dread. This wasn’t music. This wasn’t a video. This was the sound of a body being worked on. “Anya, I’m coming in.”

She turned the knob. It was unlocked.

The scene inside was a frozen tableau of wrongness. Anya was on her bed, on her back, knees up and splayed wide. She was still dressed in yesterday’s t-shirt, bunched up under her arms. Her sweatpants were a tangle around one ankle. Her face was turned toward the ceiling, eyes open and glazed, unseeing. Tears tracked clean lines through the sweat on her temples. Her mouth was slack.

And between her legs, her hands worked with a mechanical, piston-like efficiency. She was fucking herself with the biggest, most obscene thing Eleanor had ever seen. It was black and monstrously thick, glistening wetly in the lamplight. Each thrust drove it deeper, stretching Anya impossibly, a brutal re-enactment of a violation. The thump was the base of the thing hitting her body.

“Oh, my God.” The towels fell from Eleanor’s arms. “Anya. STOP.”

She rushed forward, her mind screaming with images of emergency rooms, of psychiatrists, of what terrible thing could have happened to her daughter to cause this. She grabbed Anya’s wrists. The skin was fever-hot. The muscles in Anya’s arms were cords of steel, unmovable. She was shockingly strong.

“Let go, baby, let go of it,” Eleanor pleaded, trying to pry her daughter’s fingers from the horrific toy. Anya’s eyes rolled toward her. There was no recognition. Just a deep, empty need. A hunger that had consumed the person she was.

“She can’t hear you.”

The voice came from right behind her left ear. Warm, intimate, and laced with a calm finality that stopped Eleanor’s heart. She whirled around.

Mal stood in her daughter’s bedroom doorway, leaning against the frame as if he’d been there for hours. He wore a dark green sweater and jeans, his hands in his pockets. His expression was one of mild, academic interest. “The connection is elsewhere. She’s following a deeper programming now.”

“Mal? What—What are you—Get out!” Eleanor’s voice shook with a fury born of terror. “Get out of my house! What did you do to her?!”

“I?” He raised an eyebrow, a small, innocent smile playing on his lips. “I’m just the new neighbor. I heard a commotion.” He took a step into the room. The air pressure seemed to change, becoming thicker, sweeter. The peeling floral wallpaper seemed to pulse. “It looks like she needs help.”

“I’ll call the police,” Eleanor snarled, turning to find her phone, her body a live wire of panic.

“Stop.”

The word wasn’t loud. It was a soft command that bypassed her ears and nested directly in her motor cortex. Her body froze. Not a muscle twitched. She was a statue, arm half-outstretched, eyes wide, locked in place. Only her lungs still worked, pulling in shallow, frantic breaths.

“Good,” Mal murmured, walking a slow circle around her. His gaze was an assessing weight. “You’re the anchor, aren’t you, Eleanor? The warm heart of the home. The stability. Let’s see how deep that stability goes.”

He moved past her and stood by the bed. He looked down at Anya, whose mechanical rhythm hadn’t faltered. He placed a single finger on her forehead. Anya’s body arched, a silent, soundless scream stretching her mouth. Her pace increased, the thump-thump-thump becoming frantic.

“See how needy she is?” Mal said, his voice conversational, as if discussing the weather. “It’s quite astonishing. The capacity she has. You raised such a devoted daughter. So… open to new experiences.”

“Stop it,” Eleanor whimpered, the only part of her she could still control. “Please.”

Mal ignored her. He leaned down, his lips close to Anya’s ear.“Again. For your mother. Let her see what you really are.”

Anya’s body went rigid. A violent, shuddering climax ripped through her, silent but for the wet, squeezing sounds and the creak of the bedsprings. Her eyes rolled back, whites showing. Then, she went boneless, the awful thing slipping from her grasp to lie wetly on the sheets.

Mal straightened up. He turned his green eyes back to Eleanor. “Now. You’re a compassionate woman, Ellie. May I call you Ellie? You don’t want to leave your daughter in this state, do you? All… uncovered. Vulnerable.”

He snapped his fingers.

Eleanor’s body was released from its freeze. She stumbled forward a step, gasping. Her first instinct was to rush to Anya, to cover her, to hold her. She grabbed the rumpled duvet and pulled it over her daughter’s still form. Anya just blinked at the ceiling, a faint, empty smile on her lips.

“There,” Mal said softly. “A mother’s touch. But it’s just a bandage, Ellie. You can’t cover up the truth. You can only choose to see it.”

He was behind her again. She felt his heat against her back. He didn’t touch her, but his presence was a cage. “Look at her,” he whispered, his breath stirring her hair. “Really look. This is her nature now. This is her peace. Would you take that from her? Your righteous horror… it’s just noise. It doesn’t help her.”

Eleanor stared at her daughter’s face. The vacant contentment there was more terrifying than any pain. “What did you do?” she breathed, tears finally spilling over.

“I showed her a door. She walked through it.” His hands came to rest on her shoulders. They were heavy.Warm. A traitorous comfort in the madness. “You’re fighting it. That’s why you’re so tense. All that judgment. All that fear. It’s just energy. Wasteful.”

His thumbs began to knead the tight muscles of her shoulders. A small, skilled pressure. Despite everything, a wave of physical relief, so profound it was dizzying, washed through her. She’d been carrying so much tension for so long. Her body sagged a fraction.

“That’s it,” he coaxed, his voice a velvet hum that vibrated in her bones. “Just feel. Your daughter is sated. She’s happy. There’s no crisis here. Only your own… outdated wiring.”

His hands slid down her arms, a slow, mesmerizing trail. They came to rest on her hips. He pulled her back gently, until her body was flush against his. She felt the hard, unmistakable press of his erection against the small of her back. A jolt of pure, electric fear shot through her, followed by a hot, shameful flush. It had been years since a man had held her like this.

“See?” he murmured into her ear.“Your body knows. It understands simplicity.Pleasure. Release. You spend so much time holding this family together… doesn’t the rock deserve to crumble a little?”

“No,” she said, but it was a weak, thin sound. His hands were moving again, one sliding around to her stomach, pulling her tighter against him, the other coming up to cradle her jaw, his fingers tilting her head to the side. He nuzzled her neck, a grotesque parody of affection.

“Shhh,” he whispered. “Just watch your daughter. See how calm she is. This is the gift I give.Peace. You’re so noisy inside, Ellie. So many rules. So many shoulds. Let me quiet the noise.”

His hand on her stomach slipped lower, over the soft cotton of her mom-jeans, down between her legs. She tensed, a cry locked in her throat.

“Be still,” he commanded, and her body obeyed, locking up again. A puppet on strings of will.

She could only watch, trapped in the prison of her own flesh, as his hand cupped her over her jeans, a firm, knowing pressure. He began to rub, a slow, circular motion. A shockwave of sensation, horrifying and potent, radiated out from his touch. It had been so long. So, so long since she’d felt anything but tired. A treacherous heat pooled low in her belly.

“No,” she whimpered again, tears streaming down her face.

“Yes,” he corrected softly, his own breathing becoming slightly ragged against her neck. His other hand unbuttoned her jeans, pulled down the zipper. Cool air hit her stomach. His fingers slid beneath the fabric of her sensible cotton underwear.

Eleanor choked on a sob. Her mind was a hurricane of revulsion. But her body… her body was betraying her with a ferocity that stole her breath. A slick, undeniable warmth answered his touch. Her hips gave a tiny, involuntary rock against his hand.

“There she is,” he purled, his finger finding her clit, stroking with an exact, cruel precision. “The real Eleanor. Not the mom. Not the wife. Just the animal that wants to feel good. It’s okay. It’s just us. And her.” He nodded toward Anya, who watched them with blank, placid eyes. “She understands.”

The orgasm built like a storm surge, against her will, on a wave of shame so deep it felt like dying. She tried to fight it, to clench every muscle, but his touch was a key turning in a lock she’d forgotten she had. It was brutal, efficient, and utterly overwhelming. It tore through her with the violence of a car crash, blurring her vision, wrenching a ragged, broken sound from her lips. She convulsed in his arms, held upright only by his iron grip.

As the last waves subsided, leaving her hollow and trembling, he turned her around. Her jeans and underwear were around her thighs. His eyes were pits of hungry green fire.

“Isn’t it good,” he whispered, his voice scraping like gravel, “that you raised such a needy cunt of a daughter?” He kissed her, hard, swallowing her gasp. “Now you get to join her.”

He bent her over the edge of Anya’s bed. The floral duvet was under her cheek. She could see Anya’s hand, inches from her face, lying limp on the mattress. Her daughter’s vacant eyes stared at the ceiling.

There was no preparation. No gentleness. He shoved her shirt up, yanked her jeans down further, and entered her in one sharp, brutal stroke.

Eleanor screamed. It was too much, too big, a burning, tearing invasion. She felt split open. But the lingering echoes of the forced orgasm were still there, a sickening slickness that made the violation smoother, a deeper horror.

He set a punishing rhythm, each thrust slamming her into the bedframe. The thump-thump-thump was back, but now it was her body making the sound. His fingers dug into the soft flesh of her hips. His breath was hot on her neck.

“This is your family now,” he grunted, his voice strained with effort. “This is your purpose. To be filled. To be used. To know your place.”

She sobbed, her face pressed into the bedding. With each drive, a piece of her shattered. Her identity as a mother, as a wife, as a person—it fractured under the physical weight of him. She was just a hole. A warm, wet, convenient hole. The truth of it was absolute, and it bored into her soul deeper than his cock bored into her body.

He came with a final, jarring thrust, a hot flood that felt like a brand inside her. He held himself there for a long moment, panting. Then he pulled out. She collapsed onto the floor, a heap of used flesh and ruined clothes.

Mal straightened his sweater. He looked down at her, then at Anya, who had slowly turned her head to watch.

“Clean her up,” he said to Eleanor, his voice casual, as if asking her to wipe a counter. “And then come downstairs. You’ll make me a cup of coffee. You take two sugars, don’t you? I remember.”

He left, closing the door softly behind him.

Eleanor lay on the floor, the smell of sex and lavender detergent in her nose. The ache between her legs was a vast, echoing canyon. She heard a rustle from the bed.

Anya had pulled the duvet aside. She swung her legs over the edge, moving with a strange, liquid grace. She knelt on the floor beside her mother. Her eyes were no longer vacant. They held a terrible, knowing sympathy. She reached out a hand, stroked Eleanor’s sweaty hair.

“It’s easier,” Anya whispered, her voice hoarse from disuse, “when you stop screaming inside.”

Eleanor looked up at her daughter’s face, this familiar stranger. The last fortress in her mind crumbled. She saw no rescue there. Only a reflection of her own new reality.

Slowly, mechanically, she pushed herself up. She pulled up her underwear, her jeans, her hands shaking so badly she could barely manage the button. She went to the en-suite bathroom, ran a washcloth under warm water. She returned to the bed.

With a mother’s tender, automatic care, she began to clean the drying mess from between her daughter’s thighs. Anya watched her, that faint, empty smile returning to her lips.

When she was done, Eleanor stood. She walked to the cracked mirror on the nightstand. The face that looked back was pale, tear-streaked, aged. The eyes were hollow.

She fixed her hair. She smoothed her shirt. She took a deep, shuddering breath that did nothing to fill the new emptiness inside her.

Then she went downstairs to make coffee for the man who lived next door.

The kitchen was a capsule of normalcy that now felt like a museum exhibit. Morning light cut through the blinds, striping the clean tile floor. The smell of coffee and bacon should have been comforting.

Eleanor moved through the routine on autopilot. The gurgle of the coffee maker, the sizzle of pork in the pan. Her hands performed their tasks. Her mind was a silent, white room. The physical ache between her legs was a distant throb, a persistent echo of the violation that had hollowed her out.

She set two plates on the table. Two.Not five or six. Daniel was sleeping in, Clara was at a friend’s. Her husband, David, had already left for his early shift. The silence was a thick, heavy thing.

The back door opened. Mal stepped in as if he owned the air itself. He smiled, easy and bright. “Smells amazing, Ellie. You’re a lifesaver.”

The nickname, ‘Ellie’, skittered down her spine like a cold insect. She said nothing. She poured coffee into a mug.Two sugars. She placed it on the table for him.

“Thanks, hon,” he said, sliding into a chair. He watched her. His gaze was a physical pressure on her skin.

Footsteps shuffled in the hallway. Anya entered the kitchen. She was wearing a thin, worn t-shirt and no pants, just a pair of cotton panties. Her curls were a wild mess. In her hand, she held the black dildo, dangling casually like a kitchen utensil.

Eleanor’s breath hitched. “Anya, you—put some clothes on.” The words were a reflex, thin and brittle.

Anya ignored her. She pulled a chair out from the table, the legs scraping loudly on the tile. She sat directly across from Mal, who took a slow sip of his coffee, his eyes twinkling over the rim. Without breaking eye contact with him, Anya lifted herself slightly and pushed the toy inside herself with a practiced, unceremonious motion. She sat back down with a soft sigh, a faint, dreamy smile on her lips.

Eleanor dropped the spatula. It clattered on the stovetop. “Stop that. Right now.” Her voice trembled.

“Oh, relax, Mom,” Anya said, her tone airy, distant. She picked up a strip of bacon from her plate. “It’s just a thing. It feels nice.” As she spoke, she began to move. A subtle, rolling grind of her hips against the seat of the chair. A quiet, rhythmic creak started up.

Eleanor stared, frozen. The ordinary morning scene curdled into a surreal nightmare. Her daughter, mindlessly fucking herself at the breakfast table. The neighbor, watching with placid approval.

“Ellie, sweetie, the bacon is burning,” Mal said, his voice gentle.

She turned back to the stove, hands shaking, and rescued the crisping strips. The action felt absurd. She plated the food, her movements robotic.

“Come sit,” Mal commanded, patting the table beside him.

She carried the plates over, setting one in front of Anya, who continued her slow, constant motion, and one at her own place. She did not sit.

“Sit, Ellie,” Mal repeated, the lightness gone from his tone.

She sat. The coffee in her mug was black. She never drank it black.

“So,” Mal began, cheerfully, as if discussing the weather. “We’re gonna work on some things today, Ellie. You’re wound so tight. All that mom-energy. It’s a real vibe killer.” He took a bite of bacon, crunching loudly. “We’re gonna find your fun side. Your silly side.”

Anya giggled, a high, vacant sound. She took a bite of her own bacon, her hips never stopping their lazy circle. “Silly Ellie,” she parroted.

“First rule,” Mal said, pointing a finger at Eleanor with a playful waggle. “The voice. That worried, naggy mom-voice?Gone. It’s boring. From now on, you speak like you’ve just had a really good cocktail. Up here.” He tapped the bridge of his nose. “Light. Breezy. Nothing matters.”

Eleanor looked at her hands, folded in her lap. The knuckles were white.

“Try it,” he said. His voice was mild, but the air in the kitchen tightened. “Say ‘Good morning, Mal!’”

She opened her mouth.A croak came out. She cleared her throat. “Good morning, Mal.”

“Nope.” He slapped the table lightly, making the cutlery jump. Anya giggled again, grinding faster. “Try again.Light! Breezy! You’re a happy, horny bimbo, not a librarian at a funeral.”

The words were a slap. She forced her face into a smile. It felt like a cracked plaster mask. She pitched her voice higher, forcing a lilt. “Good morning, Mal!”

“Better!” he announced, beaming. “See? Isn’t that more fun? Now, say ‘I’m just a silly MILF who needs to get laid.’”

The smile died on her face. She looked at him, her eyes pleading. He leaned forward. His green eyes held no playfulness now, only a cold, infinite patience. “Say it.”

The creak of Anya’s chair filled the silence. The smell of bacon was nauseating. Eleanor’s heart pounded against her ribs. She felt the words, obscene and heavy, form in her throat. She pushed them out. “I’m just a silly MILF who needs to get laid.”

Her own voice sounded alien, a pathetic chirp.

“Excellent!” Mal crowed, clapping his hands once. “Now, that’s a start. But the body language is all wrong. You’re hunched over like you’ve got a stomach ache. Silly girls are open. Inviting.” He got up, came around behind her. His hands settled on her shoulders. She flinched.

He began to massage her, his thumbs digging into the knots. Against her will, her muscles loosened. “Roll your shoulders back,” he whispered into her ear. “Arch your back a little. Push your tits out. Yeah, just like that. Now, play with your hair. Twirl a little piece.”

Eleanor’s hands, trembling, rose to her hair. She pulled a strand of her warm brown hair, twisting it around a finger.

“Good girl,” he purred. He returned to his seat, studying her. “You see, Anya? Your mom’s learning.”

Anya’s eyes were glassy. A faint sheen of sweat coated her upper lip. “She looks pretty,” Anya breathed, her voice slurred with a dull pleasure.

“She does,” Mal agreed. “Now, Ellie, I want you to look at your daughter. Look at how happy she is.So simple. So free. Don’t you want to be free like that? Don’t you want to feel good all the time?”

Eleanor’s gaze was dragged to Anya. To the steady, mindless motion of her hips. To the empty bliss on her face. A part of her, a deep, shattered part, felt a twist of envy. The simplicity of it. No more thoughts. No more fear.Just sensation.

“I… I do,” she heard herself say. The bimbo lilt was gone, replaced by raw, husky truth.

Mal’s smile was a surgeon’s smile, clean and precise. “I know you do. It’s okay.” He pushed his plate aside. “Now, come here. Sit on my lap. A silly, horny MILF doesn’t eat breakfast all the way over there.”

The command hung in the air. The creaking chair. The drip of the coffee maker. Eleanor’s body moved before her conscious mind could refuse. She stood. She walked the two steps to him. She turned, and lowered herself onto his lap, perched on his knees. His arms encircled her waist, pulling her back against his chest. She was rigid.

“Relax,” he murmured into her hair, his breath warm. One hand stroked up and down her thigh, over her sensible khaki capris. “You’re so tense. This is supposed to be fun.” His hand slipped between her thighs, applying a firm, intimate pressure. A jolt, equal parts revulsion and traitorous response, shot through her.

Across the table, Anya moaned softly, her pace increasing. The dildo made a wet, sucking sound.

“See?” Mal whispered, his lips against Eleanor’s ear. His other hand slid up her side, cupping her breast through her practical knit top. “She’s getting there. You can, too. Just let go. Be my silly Ellie. My hungry little MILF. The mom is gone. There’s just this now. Just feeling good.”

His touch was expert, calculated. It bypassed her horror, targeting the neglected, responsive nerves beneath. A hot, shameful flush spread through her. A low groan escaped her lips, muffled against her own will.

“That’s it,” he coaxed. “That’s your new voice. The one that says ‘yes’. The one that says ‘more’.”

His fingers worked her with a cruel, knowing precision. The kitchen, her daughter, the bacon grease congealing on the plates—it all blurred into a distant hum. The only sharp realities were the relentless creak-thrust of Anya’s chair and the building, unavoidable pressure between her own legs. She fought it, she wept silently, but her body arched into his hand, a desperate, broken surrender.

“Good girl,” he breathed, as her climax ripped through her with silent, shuddering violence. It wasn’t pleasure. It was a system purge. A confirmation of her new function.

When it was over, she slumped against him, gasping. He held her, nuzzling her neck. “So perfect,” he said. He looked across the table at Anya, whose movements were becoming jerky, frantic. “Look at your daughter. She’s almost there. Tell her she’s a good girl.”

Eleanor’s voice was a ragged whisper. “You’re… a good girl, Anya.”

Anya’s eyes snapped to hers. For a second, a flicker of something—recognition, confusion, pain—crossed her daughter’s face. Then it dissolved back into blank need. With a sharp cry, Anya shuddered, her body seizing, her hips pressing down hard against the chair in a final, frantic grind. Then she stilled, panting, a drip of sweat falling from her chin onto the table.

The sudden silence was deafening.

Mal kissed Eleanor’s temple.“See? A happy family breakfast.” He gave her a little squeeze. “Now, hop up. You’ve got dishes to do. And tonight,” he added, helping her stand on wobbly legs, “we’ll work on your vocabulary. You use too many big words. ‘Exhausted’ is now ‘totally wiped’. ‘Apprehensive’ is ‘kinda nervous’. Got it, silly-billy?”

Ellie—no longer Eleanor—looked at the messy table, at her spent daughter, at the smug, beautiful man holding her. She felt the ghost of his touch still on her skin, the ghost of that horrific, freeing release in her core. The mom was gone. Something else was fitting into the empty space, something lighter and dumber and desperately hungry.

“Got it,” she whispered, and the new, high, vacant voice fit her mouth perfectly.
