Chapter 1: The Honeymoon Suite
The last of the sun bled out over the Persian Gulf, leaving the sky a bruised purple. Inside, the penthouse was all cool marble and silent, waiting dark. Mehdi shifted on the mountain of silk sheets, the fabric whispering against his bare thighs. He’d been ready for an hour. Every minute since the text—On my way up. Don’t move.—had been a slow, delicious torture.
He heard the keycard click.
The suite door sighed open, and a wedge of hallway light framed her. Ashraf stood there for a moment, a silhouette of pure power. She shut the door, and the only illumination came from the city forty floors below, a tapestry of neon and ambition that painted her in strokes of electric blue and molten gold.
“You’re late,” Mehdi said, his voice a low tease. He didn’t move from the bed.
Ashraf didn’t answer with words. She dropped her keys on the sideboard with a sharp clack and shrugged out of her tailored jacket. The muscles in her back and shoulders rolled beneath her shirt. She’d filled out the suit in a way she never could have before, the fabric straining not with bulk, but with a coiled, predatory grace.
“Traffic was a bitch,” she finally said, her voice deeper now, a rasp that went straight to Mehdi’s core. She loosened her tie, pulling it off in one smooth motion. Her eyes, dark and hungry, never left him. “You look impatient.”
“I am.” Mehdi let a leg slide off the bed, the arch of his foot deliberate. The tiny silver bell on his ankle bracelet gave a faint, shameless chime.
Ashraf crossed the room. The scent of her—expensive sandalwood cologne and clean, hard sweat—rolled over Mehdi before she did. She stopped at the foot of the bed, looking down at him. Her fingers went to the buttons of her shirt. “All this for me?”
“Who else?” Mehdi smiled, reaching up to run a hand through his own long, dark hair. The painted nails—a deep crimson tonight—glinted. “You think I lounge around like this for the cleaning staff?”
A low laugh rumbled in Ashraf’s chest. She shed the shirt. The neon light caught the dusting of hair across her pectorals, the defined ridges of her stomach. Her new body was a map of strength, a territory Mehdi loved to chart with his hands and mouth. She unbuckled her belt, the leather sliding free with a sound that made Mehdi’s breath hitch.
“No,” Ashraf said, her tone leaving no room for argument. She climbed onto the bed, knees sinking into the silk on either side of Mehdi’s hips. She didn’t touch him yet. She just loomed, her heat radiating. “I think you do it to drive me insane. To remind me of what’s mine.”
Mehdi’s pulse was a frantic bird against his ribs. “Is it working?”
In answer, Ashraf’s hands found his waist. They were so much bigger now, capable of entirely enclosing him. She hauled him up as if he weighed nothing, shifting him off the bed and onto his feet in one brutal, effortless motion.
Before Mehdi could gasp, she spun him around. The cold, seamless glass of the window met his front, shocking his sensitive skin. The whole glittering, indifferent sprawl of Dubai was spread out beneath him. Ashraf’s powerful body pressed against his back, pinning him. He could feel the hard line of her cock, already straining against her trousers, nudging between his ass cheeks.
“Look at that,” Ashraf murmured, her lips against the shell of his ear. One hand splayed possessively across his stomach, holding him fast. The other came up beside his head, her palm flat on the glass. Her breath fogged the view. “All those people down there. And up here, you’re just my pretty wife, getting ready to be fucked.”
The word, spoken in that voice, sent a jolt straight through him. He was wet already, the slickness a shocking, profound pleasure he’d never tired of. His own construction, his own perfect, sensitive anatomy, singing for her.
“Ashraf,” he breathed, a plea and a challenge.
Her hand slid down from his stomach, over the curve of his hip, fingers delving into the soft, needy flesh between his legs. He cried out, his forehead thumping gently against the cool glass. Her touch was knowing, relentless. “So ready,” she growled, her own composure fraying. “This all for me? This sweet, hungry little pussy?”
“Yes,” Mehdi gasped, pushing back against her hand. “God, yes. It’s yours. It’s always been yours.”
It was the truth. In every form they’d taken, this claiming was the constant.
With a ragged sound, Ashraf freed herself. Mehdi heard the rustle of fabric, the tear of a foil packet. A moment later, the blunt, insistent pressure of her crown pressed against him. He was so ready, body fluttering open, but she made him wait, just holding herself there, a breath away from penetration.
“Tell me,” she commanded, her voice thick.
“I’m yours,” Mehdi whimpered, mindless with want. “Fuck me. Please, Ashraf, fuck me like you mean it. Like you own me.”
She did.
She drove into him with one long, devastating stroke, hilting herself completely. The fullness was breathtaking, a stretch that bordered on pain before melting into pure, blinding ecstasy. Mehdi shouted, the sound muffled by the glass. His fingers scrambled for purchase, his crimson nails leaving faint, desperate trails on the window.
Ashraf didn’t pause. She set a punishing rhythm, her hips piston-ing against his ass, each thrust jarring a broken sound from his throat. Her grip on his hip was iron, her other hand fisting in his long hair, pulling his head back to expose his throat. She bit the juncture of his neck and shoulder, not hard enough to break skin, but enough to brand.
“You feel that?” she grunted against his sweat-slick skin. “You feel how deep I am in you? My cock in the hole where yours used to be.”
The humiliation was an old, dark thrill. It heated his blood, made his toes curl. “Yes,” he sobbed, meeting her thrust for thrust. “It’s better. It’s so much better. You’re so much bigger.”
She groaned, the sound victorious. “I know.” Her pace became frantic, a race toward the edge. The world outside blurred into streaks of light. The only things real were the glass against his cheek, the silk of his hair in her fist, the exquisite, brutal friction inside him coiling his pleasure tighter and tighter.
Mehdi came first, screaming her name as his body clamped around her, wave after wave of sensation tearing through him. It was the trigger for Ashraf. With a final, deep roar, she slammed home and held, her body shuddering as she spilled into him.
For a long minute, they stayed like that, welded together, panting against the window. The city shimmered, unseeing.
Slowly, Ashraf softened inside him. She gentled her hold, turning him carefully in her arms. Mehdi slumped against her, boneless, burying his face in the crook of her neck, breathing in the scent of their sex and her skin.
She kissed his temple, a surprisingly tender gesture from someone who minutes ago had seemed carved from pure want. “Okay?” she murmured, her voice returning to its normal register.
Mehdi nodded against her. “Perfect.” He looked up, his eyes tracing the strong line of her jaw. “I was thinking of ordering room service later. Kebabs. The expensive ones.”
A smile touched Ashraf’s lips. “Sounds good.” She ran a thumb over his cheekbone. “We should shower first. You’re a mess.”
“Your mess,” Mehdi corrected, a slow smile spreading on his own face.
“Yeah,” she agreed, her dark eyes softening. She didn’t move to let him go. Outside, a private helicopter carved a silent path through the neon sky, its navigation lights blinking red and green, moving toward some other distant tower, some other private story.
