Chapter 1: Introduction
The apartment was too bright. White walls, white floors, a sleek sofa that looked like it had never been sat on. The recessed lighting hummed, casting a sterile glow over everything. India stood by the window, her silhouette sharp against the glass. The city lights outside were a dirty yellow compared to the clinical white inside.
“It’s not that I’m bored,” she said, not turning around. Her voice was low, a ripple in the quiet room. “It’s that I want to feel used.”
Matt watched her from the archway, a glass of water sweating in his hand. He took a sip. It tasted like nothing. “Used,” he repeated, not a question.
“Yes.” She finally turned. Her straight black hair was pulled back tight, emphasizing the high bones of her face. At forty-one, her body was a map of her life—slim, strong, with curves that had softened just enough. Her small breasts moved slightly under her thin tank top. She didn’t wear a bra. She knew he was looking. “Not just by you. I want to be… available. I want to not have a choice.”
A current, low and dark, stirred in Matt’s gut. He set the glass down on the quartz countertop with a definitive click. “Explain.”
She walked toward him, bare feet silent on the polished concrete. The scent of her—soap and warm skin—reached him first. “You enjoy it. Watching. Knowing. I see it in your eyes when I tell you about the man at the grocery store, the one who stared. You get hard.” Her fingers brushed the front of his jeans, feeling the truth of her words. “So let’s stop with the stories. Let’s make it real.”
“With who?” His voice was tighter now.
A sly smile touched her lips. She leaned in, her breath hot against his ear. “Barry and Darryl.”
He barked a laugh, short and harsh. “Our roommates? Those two losers down the street?” The image was immediately, viscerally repulsive. Barry with his patchy beard and nervous laugh. Darryl, who always smelled faintly of stale beer and onion rings. Their apartment was a shrine to fast-food wrappers and defeat.
“Exactly,” India whispered, her hand cupping him through the denim, squeezing. “They’re pathetic. They’re gross. They’re utterly undeserving. And you’d get to watch them treat me like a piece of meat they found in their fridge.”
The crude language, the directness of it, sent a jolt straight to his cock. He hated them. The thought of their hands on his wife, on her skin, should have made him furious. Instead, a terrifying, dizzying heat flooded him. The more undeserving, the better. That was the rotten core of it. He wanted to see the goddess debased.
“Consensual,” he ground out, grabbing her wrist. “You set the rules. A safe word. Always.”
“Of course,” she said, her eyes wide and dark. “It’s just play. But I want it to feel real. For them, and for me. I want to be their free-use slut. Whenever they want. However they want.” She pressed herself against him. “And you get a front-row seat.”
He spun her around, bending her over the cold, hard counter. The edge bit into her hips. He yanked her cotton shorts down to her knees in one rough motion. Her ass, curvy and heart-shaped, was exposed. He ran a hand over the dark, coarse hair of her armpit, then down the length of her spine to the even thicker thatch between her legs. He didn’t shave her. He loved the wildness of it.
“Is this what you want?” he growled, pushing two fingers inside her. She was already wet, slick and hot. “You’re dripping just thinking about it.”
“Yes,” she hissed, pushing back against his hand.
“Say it. Say what you want them to do.”
“I want them to walk in and just take it,” she panted, her forehead against the cool stone. “I want Barry to fuck my hairy pussy from behind while Darryl feeds me his dick. I want them to come on my tits, on my face, in my mouth. I want them to use all my holes and then laugh about it over a beer.” Each filthy sentence made her clench around his fingers.
He unzipped his jeans, freed his aching cock, and drove into her without another word. She cried out, a raw, grateful sound. The slap of his skin against hers echoed in the bright, empty room. He fucked her with a punishing rhythm, his fingers digging into the soft flesh of her hips, his mind a riot of images: India on her knees for Darryl, India spread across Barry’s stained couch.
“You’re a fucking whore,” he breathed, pounding into her. “My perfect, fucking whore.”
“Yours,” she moaned, “always yours. Even when they’re inside me.” She reached a hand between her own legs, rubbing her clit in fast, frantic circles. “I’m going to come thinking about their dirty cocks.”
That did it. The vulgarity, the total surrender, the specific, degrading fantasy. He came with a choked groan, emptying himself deep inside her, his vision spotting at the edges. She followed, her body convulsing around him, a long, shuddering wail tearing from her throat.
They stayed like that for a minute, panting, joined. The hum of the lights was the only sound.
He pulled out, tucked himself away. She slowly stood up, wincing, pulling her shorts back up. The wetness between her thighs soaked through the cotton immediately. She turned and looked at him, her expression open, sated, waiting.
“Okay,” Matt said, his voice hoarse. He walked to the sink, ran the water, washed his hands with methodical care. He looked at her reflection in the dark window. “You’ll talk to them. Tomorrow. Set the rules.”
The thrill in her eyes was unmistakable, mixed with a flicker of fear. It was the fear that excited him most. “Tomorrow,” she agreed.
He dried his hands. “I need some air.”
He left the apartment, stepping into the hallway. It smelled faintly of bleach and something else, something sour and hopeless. Regret, maybe. He leaned against the wall, listening to the muffled bass from a stereo somewhere. From Barry and Darryl’s place, probably. He closed his eyes and saw it all, vivid and ugly and unbearably hot. A smile, thin and cruel, touched his lips. Tomorrow.
