Chapter 1: Confession in the Dark
The whiskey in Tom’s glass caught the faint amber glow from the city beyond the window, a tiny swirl of liquid rebellion in the otherwise still room. Char watched it, then watched him. He wasn’t drinking it; he was just holding it, his pilot’s hands—steady, capable hands—resting on his knee as he sat on the edge of the bed. The silence wasn’t empty. It was thick, humming with the unsaid thing that had hung between them for months.
“You’re staring,” he said, without looking at her. A corner of his mouth twitched.
“You’re brooding.” She shifted against the cool cotton sheets, the stretch of her body a long, deliberate line. The air conditioning whispered, carrying the scent of her skin—clean sweat and the lingering note of jasmine from her shower—to him. “Lieutenant Colonels who fly fighter jets aren’t supposed to brood. They’re supposed to be decisive.”
“I’m decisive.” He finally turned his head. The low light carved the familiar handsome lines of his face, the short-cropped brown hair, the intensity in his eyes that had nothing to do with combat maneuvers and everything to do with her. “I decided to bring it up again.”
Her breath hitched, just a little. This was their third conversation.
The first had been a drunken, clumsy confession that had stunned her into silence. The second, a week later, had been more earnest, full of his halting explanations about fantasy versus reality, about trust, about the dizzying, terrifying thought of seeing her wanted and taken. Really wanted. Really being taken as he watched. And, of him wanting her to find new sexual heights of pleasure she had never imagined for herself, by that, Tom wanted for her to experience, with him watching at her side and maybe even joining in a DP (Double-penetrations), which would surely take her to a completely new level of sexual lust, sensuality, licentiousness, carnality, libido, wantonness, salaciousness and lasciviousness!
He wanted her there and knew if she ever got just a taste of it, she would wantonly and madly want to be his "Hot-Wife" and love it . . . . all of it!
So, this was the third time. The serious one.
He set the glass down on the nightstand with a soft click. The sound was final. He moved, leaning over her, one arm braced beside her head. He didn’t touch her, just let his presence cover her, the heat of him, the familiar smell of his soap and the starch from his uniform shirt.
“Tell me what you’re thinking,” he said, his voice a low rumble. “Really thinking.”
She looked up at him, her blonde hair fanning across the pillow. She let her gaze wander over the broad shoulders under the crisp cotton, down to where his waistband sat low on his hips. She knew every inch of him. The scar from the ejection seat, the way his abs tightened when he laughed, the heavy, thick, beautiful long length of his perfect cock that had brought her so much pleasure for nearly 7 years. “I’m thinking it’s the most insane thing I’ve ever heard,” she said, her voice barely a whisper.
“I know.”
“I’m thinking you might be crazy.”
“Probably.”
“I’m thinking…” She reached up, traced the line of his jaw. “I’m thinking you’ve given me everything. This life, your name, your love. You’ve never asked me for anything like this. Anything that was just for you.” His eyes closed for a second at her touch. “It is for me. But remember only if it’s for you, too. That’s the only way it works, Char. It has to be something . . . . . you can want . . . . . you can need too. Not just tolerate. . .Want . . Need!.”
Her thumb brushed his lower lip. “Explain it to me again. Not the logistics. The why.”
He let out a long, slow breath, lowering himself until he was beside her, propped on an elbow, his other hand coming to rest on the flat of her stomach. His touch was warm, possessive in a way that thrilled her.
“It’s the ultimate trust,” he began, his fingers drawing idle circles on her skin. “It’s knowing you are so completely mine that you can give me this. . . . gift. It’s seeing you…lit up. Being the reason you’re lit up, even if I’m not the one touching you in that moment.” His voice grew rougher. “It’s the visual, Char. God, the visual of you, lost in it, taking pleasure from someone I . . . . chose for you. Knowing you’re doing it for us. For our story.” And eventually, you'll want to do it for yourself to show me you love me, really trust me, trust yourself to know that I want you to experience the highest levels of sexual pleasures, with me there, for me and then. . . . for yourself.
She shivered. His words weren’t crude. They were reverent. They painted a picture that was suddenly, shockingly vivid in her mind. Not a seedy secret, but a shared project. A sexual adventure
“You’d be there.”
“Every second. That's the point. I wouldn’t miss it.”
“And you’d want… this other him… to be…”
“Different than me,” Tom finished, his gaze steady, unflinching. “Yes. That’s part of it. I want to see you experience something different. Maybe bigger, harder, longer, different climaxes, different loads of cum, I want to watch you handle it, all! I want to see that moment on your face when you feel it, want it and know I made it happen just for you.” And I will always be there to reclaim you, every time, so you know you are really all mine forever!"
A flush spread from her chest up her neck. It was a cocktail of embarrassment, an unusual strange pride, but also a dark, uncoiling thread of sudden wonton arousal. His honesty was a physical thing in the room.
“You’re really well-hung, Tom,” she said, a weak attempt at a joke. He grinned, that sexy, lopsided grin that had made her fall for him a decade ago. “I know, baby. This isn’t about me being inadequate. It’s about you experiencing abundance.” His hand slid lower, cupping breast. His touch was familiar, but the context made her gasp. “It’s about this. All of this. Being so fucking perfect that the idea of sharing it is the highest compliment I could ever give you.” And in the end it would all be . . . . all for you!
He kissed her then, deep and slow, tasting of whiskey and want. She melted into it, her body arching against his. When he broke away, they were both breathing heavily.
“But who?” she breathed. “No one we know. Someone safe. Discreet. Vetted. I’ve… already looked into a few possibilities.”
Her eyes widened. “You have?” “Just pictures. Profiles. It’s a process. I don’t pick the guy, Char. We do. Together. He’s a prop. A talented, well-equipped prop, but a prop in our scene. The clinical words, juxtaposed with the heat in his eyes, were incredibly potent. She felt a wetness between her legs that had nothing to do with his touch just yet. “Say it,” he murmured, his lips against her throat. “Say the words. Tell me you’ll think about it. Seriously.”
She turned her head, nuzzled into his hair, her mind a riot of images—strange hands on her hips, a stranger’s weight, Tom’s intense eyes watching from a chair, his own cock in his fist…
“I’m thinking about it,” she whispered, maybe dreaming about it . . . . a little!
“That’s not what I want to hear.” His voice was a command now, the Lt. Colonel voice, but dipped in lust. “Play along with me. Just here, just now. Tell me how you’d want it.” The permission in his demand broke the last dam. Her voice came out husky, foreign to her own ears.
“I’d want him… behind me,” she said, the words feeling dangerous and sweet on her tongue. “So I could see you. So you could see my face as his huge long cock slides deep into my pussy. I’d want you to tell me what to do.” Tom’s groan was pure satisfaction. His hand slipped between her legs, finding her wet and ready. “And what would I tell you to do, baby?”
“You’d tell me to relax,” she panted, her hips rising to meet his fingers. “You’d tell me to take this new cock. To take every long inch of it. Let him make you climax and cum and then he fills you deep inside with his hot load of cum, For you, just for you!”
“Yes.” His movements were ruthless, perfect, knowing her body’s rhythms better than she did. “And you would. You’d take it, you would like it and you’d come for me, wouldn’t you? With him deep inside you, you’d look at your husband and climax!.”
The orgasm ripped through her, sudden and violent, wringing a sharp cry from her lungs. He held her through it, murmuring praises against her skin.
As the waves subsided, she lay boneless, her heart hammering. He shifted, pulling her into his arms, her back to his chest. His own arousal was a hard line against her, but he didn’t push for more. They lay in the dark, the city lights painting faint patterns on the ceiling. There was silence until . . . .
“Well . . . okay then,” Char said softly, into the quiet. His arms tightened around her. “Okay?
“I’m not saying yes . . . . . quite yet.” She turned in his embrace to face him. In the dimness, her eyes were serious, bright. “But I am saying… I want to look at the profiles. I want to talk about the rules. Our rules.”
The smile that spread across Tom’s face was one of sheer, unadulterated triumph and love. He kissed her forehead, her nose, her lips.
“That’s my girl,” he whispered. “Our rules.”
“Our rules,” he repeated, the words a vow whispered into the quiet dark.
They lay tangled for a long while, the pulse of the city a faint echo of the pulse still thrumming in their veins. Char traced the familiar ridges of his knuckles, her mind no longer racing but gliding, exploring this new terrain he’d mapped out. It felt less like a cliff’s edge and more like a gate they were standing before, together. The lock was theirs to open.
Tom shifted, pressing a kiss to her shoulder before slipping out of bed. The loss of his warmth made her shiver. She watched him pad, naked and unconcerned, to the dresser. He picked up his phone, the screen lighting his face in a pale blue wash.
“Who are you texting at this hour?” she asked, propping herself on her elbows. The sheet pooled around her waist.
“Not texting.” He scrolled, found a contact, and put the phone to his ear. He glanced at her, his eyes holding hers. “Calling.”
He calls his friend.
The first ring cut through the room’s intimacy like a trespasser. Char felt a jolt, a visceral reaction to the sudden intrusion of the outside world into their secret pact. Tom just watched her, listening to the trill.
A gruff, sleep-thickened voice answered. “Do you know what time it is, you magnificent bastard?”
“I do,” Tom said, his voice easy, a smile in it. “I need a consultant.”
Char heard the muffled sound of sheets rustling on the other end. “This better be about a jet. Or a bourbon. I’m not helping you pick out curtains, Tom.”
“It’s about a person. A very specific person.”
A pause. The friend’s voice came back clearer, the sleep receding into wary curiosity. “Okay. I’m listening.”
Tom’s gaze never left Char. He was including her in this, making her a party to the conversation. “I need a name. Or a few. From that… discreet service you used after your divorce. The one for big executives who needed discretion above all else.”
Another, longer pause. Char held her breath. She could practically hear the friend’s mind working.
“You’re serious.”
“Deadly.”
“For you?”
Tom’s smile turned possessive, his eyes burning into Char’s. “No. For my wife.”
The silence on the line was absolute. Then a low whistle. “Holy shit. You finally asked her.”
“We’re asking together.”
Char swallowed, hearing the statement solidify in the air. It was real. It was happening. Tom was executing a plan, with the same focused precision he used in a cockpit.
His friend’s tone shifted, becoming brisk, professional. “Right. Okay. It’s top-shelf. They vet for health, discretion, and… specific attributes. You set the parameters. It’s like a concierge service for…”
“I know what it’s like,” Tom interrupted gently. “Can you send me the contact? Tonight.”
“Yeah, yeah. I’ll text you the number and a name to reference. They’ll want to schedule a call with you. Probably both of you.” A beat. “Tom… is she…”
“She’s right here,” Tom said, his voice softening. “And she’s perfect.”
“Okay. Okay, man. I’ll send it now. And Tom?”
“Yeah?”
“You’re a lucky son of a bitch.”
Tom’s grin was sheer white in the dim room. “I know.”
He hung up. The room felt different. The silence now was charged, buzzing with a new kind of potential. He placed the phone back on the dresser and turned to her.
“His divorce was ugly,” Tom said, walking back to the bed. “He needed company that couldn’t be traced or talked. He said the service is absolutely impeccable. No paper trail. Interviews. Medical checks. They’re used to… unusual arrangements.”
He slid back under the sheets, his body heat flooding toward her again. “We’ll talk to them. We’ll set the parameters. Age, look, everything. It’s a profile. Like a mission briefing.”
Char let out a shaky laugh. “A mission briefing. Of course you’d call it that.”
He pulled her close, his hand settling on the curve of her hip. “That’s what it is. Our next mission. Objective: your pleasure. My observation. Our shared experience.” He nuzzled her hair. “Rules of engagement to be determined by the commanding officer. That’s you.”
She turned in his arms, facing him. The blue light from his phone, still glowing on the dresser, reflected in his eyes. “I’m scared,” she whispered, the admission a raw truth in the space between them.
“I know. Me too.” He kissed her, slow and deep. “That’s how I know it’s worth doing.”
A second later, his phone chimed softly on the dresser—a single, definitive text, containing a number, a name, a key to the gate.
They both looked toward the sound.
The glow of the phone screen was the only light in the room now, casting long shadows. Char felt the shift in the air, the unspoken question hanging between them like a live wire.
Tom reached for the phone without hesitation, his fingers brushing against hers as he picked it up. The screen illuminated his face, making the sharp angles of his jaw and the intensity in his eyes even more pronounced. He tapped the notification, and a new message filled the screen:
"Service confirmed. Agent available. Contact name: 'Bill'. Number provided. Expect call within 24 hours."
Char exhaled sharply, her breath hitching as the reality of what they were about to do settled over her like a second skin.
