Chapter 1: The Sorceress's Lair
The air in Morrigan’s great hall was thick and still, tasting of cold stone and old incense. Ser Aldric of Valdora moved through it like a man wading through deep water, the silence amplifying the scrape of his boot on the marble and the rhythmic clink of his plate armor. His hand never left the pommel of his longsword. The braziers lined along the walls guttered, throwing the skeletons of long-dead guardians into a macabre dance against the vaulted ceiling. Their empty eyes seemed to follow him.
At the far end of the hall, upon a dais, she waited.
Morrigan the Enchantress reclined on a divan of bruised velvet, a silhouette of lazy power. She wore a gown of some dark, gossamer material that did little to conceal the pale length of her legs, crossed delicately at the ankle. The candlelight caught the sheen of sheer black pantyhose, painting her calves and feet in a shadowed, silken gloss.
“You’re louder than a drunken blacksmith,” she said, her voice a low, smooth contralto that seemed to come from the shadows themselves. She didn’t look up from inspecting her nails. “All that steel and righteous fury. It’s exhausting just listening to you approach.”
Aldric stopped twenty paces from the dais. “Morrigan. By order of the King, your reign of theft and enchantment ends. Submit to the crown’s justice.”
Now she looked up. Her eyes were the green of deep forest pools, sharp and endlessly knowing. A smile touched her lips, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “Justice. Such a heavy word for such a tired man. You’ve come a long way, Ser Aldric. Would you like a drink before you try to murder me?”
“No.”
“Pity.” She uncrossed her legs slowly, and Aldric’s eyes, against his will, tracked the movement. The nylon whispered. When she re-crossed them, the other leg on top, the arch of her foot flexed subtly. It was a perfect, slender arch. He forced his gaze back to her face, a hot prickle of shame on his neck. “You could just leave. Tell your king I was too powerful. That you barely escaped with your life.”
“I do not lie.”
“Of course not,” she sighed, as if bored. “Honor. Duty. How dreadfully predictable.” In one fluid motion, she rose. She was tall, willowy. A thin silver dagger appeared in her hand from nowhere. “Well then. Let’s get this tedious part over with.”
She moved like smoke. One moment she was on the dais, the next she was beside him, the dagger aiming for the gap between his breastplate and pauldron. Aldric was bigger, slower in his armor, but years of drilling made his parry instinctive. Steel rang against silver with a sharp, high note.
He didn’t want to kill her. Subdue, capture. That was the mission. But she was a whirlwind of spite and sharp edges. He caught her wrist, twisted, and heard her gasp as the silver dagger clattered to the floor. Using his weight, he drove her back, pinning her against one of the great stone pillars. The impact knocked the wind from her. He pressed his armored forearm across her collarbone, his other hand pulling his own dagger, holding the point to the pale column of her throat.
“Yield,” he growled, his breath coming hard.
She stared up at him, her black hair fanned against the grey stone. A trickle of blood from her split lip stained her chin. She wasn’t afraid. She was… assessing.
“You win, brave knight,” she whispered, her voice husky. “You have me at your mercy.”
He began to relax, just a fraction. It was a mistake.
Her knee came up, not toward his groin, but to hook behind his leg. At the same moment, she went limp, sliding down the pillar. He stumbled, off-balance, and she slithered out from his grasp like an eel, putting the pillar between them. Panting, she leaned against it, a hand to her ribs. The fight was gone from her posture.
“Alright,” she conceded, sounding genuinely winded. “You’re as good as they say. Now what? You drag me in chains through the forest? A glorious triumph.” She pushed off from the pillar and limped, just slightly, back toward the divan. Every movement was pure theater. She sank onto the velvet with a weary sigh, letting her head fall back. “Just… give me a moment. The blow to my ribs is quite sharp.”
Wary, Aldric kept his dagger out. He watched her, every sense screaming this was a trap. But she just sat there, one hand pressed to her side, breathing deeply. Then, slowly, she lifted her right foot. She hooked a finger into the toe of her sheer black pantyhose and peeled it down, just over her foot, revealing her pale, perfect toes. She massaged the arch, her eyes closed, a faint sigh escaping her.
Aldric felt his mouth go dry. The act was intimate, casual. Obscene.
“You’re staring, Ser Knight.” She didn’t open her eyes. Her voice was a lazy murmur. “Is my foot more fascinating than your victory?”
He jerked his gaze away, heat flooding his face. “Do not mock me.”
“I’m not.” She lowered her foot, but now she extended both legs, leaning back on her elbows. The nylon sheened, capturing every curve from her heel to her calf. She pointed her toes, then flexed them slowly, watching the play of muscle and light. “They ache from the cold stone. This castle is dreadfully damp. A knight of your… dedication… must understand discomfort. The pinch of ill-fitting boots. The sweat, the chafe.”
She was speaking to his shame, weaving a spell with words instead of magic. He knew he should cross the room, bind her hands, and be done with it. His feet felt rooted to the spot.
“Come here,” she said, not a command, but an invitation.
“No.”
“I am your prisoner, am I not? You can stand wherever you wish. Even… here.” She patted the velvet beside her hip, a space at the foot of the divan. “Or is your courage only for battle?”
His pride stung, he took three heavy steps forward, stopping just before the dais. He was close enough now to smell her—rose oil, that dark earthy scent, and the faint, clean nylon smell of her hose. She smiled up at him, that knowing, cruel smile.
“Better.” She let one foot dangle off the divan, the heel tapping the air. The other she brought up, resting her sole flat against the polished leather of his greave, just below his knee. The contact was electric. He flinched but didn’t pull away. The warmth of her foot seeped through the metal.
“See?” she whispered. “No daggers. No tricks. Just… a foot. Is it so terrifying?”
He was trembling. He hated that he was trembling.
With agonizing slowness, she dragged her foot up the front of his greave, over the curve of his knee cup, and came to rest on the thick leather of his thigh guard. The pressure was deliberate, steadying. She began to move her foot in a small, circular pattern, massaging the dense leather as if she could feel the muscle beneath.
“All that tension,” she mused, her head tilted. “All that duty, coiled like a spring inside you. It must be agony.” Her eyes held his, green and fathomless. “I could relieve it. A simple trade. Your oath for your peace.”
“Never.” The word was a croak.
“We’ll see.” Her foot slid inward, toward the junction of his legs. He sucked in a sharp breath. She stopped, her arch pressed firmly against the inside of his thigh. She flexed her toes, and through layers of armor, leather, and wool, he felt the incredible, specific pressure.
“You want to taste it, don’t you?” Her voice dropped to a velvety, obscene whisper. “That forbidden urge you’ve battled since you were a squire, sneaking glances at ladies in their summer silks. You imagine the texture. The scent. The submission.”
He was hard, painfully so, the rigid armor now a torturous cage. Shame and desire warred, a nauseating blend. He was slipping.
“Your king will never know,” she coaxed, rotating her heel against his thigh. “It can be our secret. A single, shameful concession. You knelt to win your spurs. Kneel again. For a different purpose.”
Her other foot joined the first, both soles now planted on his thigh, bracketing him. She pushed back, bending her knees, and the action pulled the tight nylon taut over her soles, revealing every delicate bone, every tender hollow. The vision was devastating.
“Just the nylon first,” she promised, her tone becoming darkly maternal, perversely gentle. “You can worship the idea of me. The scent of my sweat on the silk. The way it catches on your stubble. Later… perhaps you can have the skin.”
A low, animal sound escaped him. It was a groan of defeat. His dagger slipped from his numb fingers, clattering loudly on the marble, the sound echoing through the silent hall.
That was all the consent she needed.
“Kneel, Aldric,” she commanded, and this time, it was a command.
His knees unlocked. The heavy armor made the descent clumsy, a slow, grating collapse. He knelt before the divan, his face level with her feet. The scent of her, rose and woman and that dark magic, filled his nose, drowning his senses.
She extended her right foot, presenting it to him like a sacrament. The nylon was flawless, a second skin of shimmering black. The arch was a sublime curve. Her toes, subtly outlined, were perfectly aligned.
“Go on,” she breathed, leaning forward, her eyes alight with victorious fire. “Your honor is already mine. Now, give me your desire.”
A sob of utter ruin hitched in his chest. Then, shuddering, he closed his eyes, lowered his head, and pressed his feverish lips to the smooth, warm nylon over the high arch of her foot.
A soft, triumphant laugh floated above him as the sorceress settled back into her velvet throne, one hand coming to rest gently, possessively, on the crown of his bowed head.
A soft, triumphant laugh floated above him as the sorceress settled back into her velvet throne, one hand coming to rest gently, possessively, on the crown of his bowed head.
For a long moment, he didn’t move. His lips stayed pressed against the sheer black nylon, the warmth of her skin beneath a phantom heat. His entire world had narrowed to this point of contact. The scent of her rose oil was stronger here, mixed with the faint, metallic hint of the day’s wear and something uniquely, intimately her—a musky, salty perfume that made his head swim.
“You can do more than just press your chapped lips there, Aldric,” Morrigan said, her voice a lazy tease. Her fingers combed through his short-cropped hair. “Show me what you’ve been dreaming about in your lonely watchtower.”
A shudder wracked his broad frame. Then, with a broken, needy sound, he turned his head and dragged his open mouth along the high arch. The nylon was smooth, slick with a faint moisture. He kissed it, his lips moving in a wretched, worshipful path from the ball of her foot to the delicate tendon of her ankle. He inhaled deeply, nose pressed to the material, and the fragrance filled his lungs—cleansing, corrupting, wiping every oath from his mind.
“There it is,” she sighed, wiggling her toes. The movement against his cheek was divine. “All that pent-up devotion. Let it out. Tell me what that tastes like.”
“It’s… sweet,” he muttered, the words ash in his mouth. He licked a long, slow stripe from her heel to her toes. The flavor was complex—the chemical whisper of the dye, the salt of her skin, the indefinable essence of power. “It’s fucking sweet.”
Her laugh was a dark, delightful thing. “Of course it is. I am. Now suck.”
The command punched the air from him. He opened his mouth, taking her nylon-clad toes inside. The sheer fabric wrinkled against his tongue. He closed his eyes, sucking gently, feeling the perfect, blunt shapes of them. He swirled his tongue around each one, a slave to a geography of fucking toes.
“Gods,” he breathed, releasing them with a wet pop. He was panting, his forehead resting on her instep. “Gods, forgive me.”
“No god here, knight. Only me.” She pressed her foot against his lips, silencing him. “Only my feet. And you’re hungry for them. Admit it. Say ‘I am your foot-slave, Morrigan.’ Say it.”
Tears of shame and ecstasy burned behind his eyelids. The pressure of her sole on his mouth was heaven and hell. “I am your foot-slave,” he whispered, the vow more binding than any knighthood oath.
“Again. Louder.”
“I am your foot-slave!” The shout echoed, mingling with the whispers of the dead knights in the shadows. His hands, which had been clenched at his sides, rose of their own volition. He grasped her ankle, holding her foot in place as he attacked it with a desperate, open-mouthed fervor. He kissed, he licked, he nibbled the nylon over her arch. He dragged his stubbled chin against her sole, groaning at the friction. He was fucking her foot with his mouth, lost, completely gone.
“Yes,” she hissed, her own breath quickening. She watched him unravel, her emerald eyes blazing with conquest. “That’s it. Get it all out. How does it feel? To finally stop fighting?”
“Good,” he snarled between wet, sloppy kisses. “It feels so fucking good. Better than honor. Better than wine.” He turned his head, burying his nose deep in the space between her toes, inhaling like a man dying of thirst finding water. The obscene, intimate aroma was a drug. “I need it. Please.”
“You’ll always have it,” she promised, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial purr. “As long as you remember your place. On your knees. Serving my pleasure.” She lifted her other foot and placed it on his shoulder, then slowly slid it down the front of his breastplate, over the cold metal, until the sole rested directly over his pounding heart. “This is all you are now. A warm tongue for my tired feet. Do you understand?”
He nodded frantically, his attention split between the foot he was devouring and the one claiming his chest. “Yes. Yes.”
“Then show me your gratitude. Make me feel good.”
He doubled his efforts, his tongue working the nylon until it was soaked and translucent, clinging to every curve. He licked between her toes, sucking each one until the fabric was frayed and hot. He was drooling, a messy, desperate wreck of a man, addicted in a single, feverish session. The shame had burned away, leaving only a raw, aching need to please, to taste, to belong to this.
Morrigan let her head fall back, a genuine moan of pleasure escaping her lips as he found a particularly sensitive spot near her heel. “Good slave,” she murmured. “My perfect, corrupted knight.”
And as he worshipped, a single, clear thought pierced the blissful haze of his degradation: he would die for this. He would kill for this. He would betray his king, his god, his very self, for the privilege of drowning in the scent and taste of her feet ever again. The corruption was complete. It wasn't a chain; it was a craving etched into his soul, and she held the only key.
