Chapter 3: Testing His Limits

The gymnasium lay in heavy, cavernous silence, the faint, sharp tang of rubber mats mingling with the cold scent of polished concrete. Flickering fluorescent lights cast rhythmic, stark shadows over the rows of abandoned equipment. Derek Torres stood near the free weights, his gym bag slung over one shoulder, his sneaker squeaking faintly against the floor as he shifted his weight.

He had stayed late to work on his deadlift form, or so he had told himself. The truth was simpler. Maya had texted him three hours ago with a single line: meet me at the gym after closing. No emoji, no playful teasing, just those words. He had replied with a smiling face and a thumbs-up, but something in her tone had made his stomach drop.

The lights buzzed. He checked his phone. 9:47.

The main doors were locked, but the service entrance had been propped open with a folded cardboard box, and he had slipped through with the quiet guilt of a man doing something he was not supposed to do. Now he stood in the middle of the cavernous space, the shadow of the climbing wall stretching long and black across the polished floor.

The door to the equipment room clicked.

Derek turned, his heart hammering. Maya stepped out of the shadow, wearing a fitted black athletic top and dark leggings that cut off at the knee. Her long black hair hung loose, not in its usual messy bun, and the fluorescent light caught the sharp angles of her cheekbones as she walked toward him. Her footsteps made no sound on the rubber floor.

"You came," she said.

Her voice was flat. Editorial. The kind of voice a professor used before announcing a failing grade.

Derek managed a smile. "Yeah, of course. You said to meet you."

"I did."

She stopped about ten feet from him, hands loose at her sides. The distance felt deliberate, like a boundary line.

"Everything okay?" he asked. "You sound... off."

Maya tilted her head, studying him the way she studied the anatomy charts in her sketchbook, with a kind of clinical intensity that made him feel exposed.

"Derek," she said, and the sound of his name in her mouth felt heavier than usual. "When we were at my place last week, you left your laptop open. You had to run to the bathroom, and you forgot to close it. I didn't mean to look, but the screen was right there, and a new tab had opened."

The air in his lungs turned cold.

"I closed it for you," she continued, "and I only glanced at the address bar. But I remembered it. And tonight, while I was waiting for you, I typed it into my phone."

Derek's hand tightened on his gym bag strap. "Maya, I can explain—"

"Let me finish." Her voice was steel wrapped in velvet. "You had a browser history full of sites. Women dominating men with superpowers. Women with superhuman strength, telekinesis, transformation. Women pinning men to walls, bending them, breaking them, not just physically but mentally. Making them beg. Making them surrender."

The words landed like stones dropped one by one into a deep well.

"That's not—" Derek started.

"It's not what?" Maya took a step forward. Then another. "Not a fantasy?"

The silence stretched between them. The fluorescent light hummed.

"I'm not judging you," she said softly, and for a moment her voice lost its edge, became something almost tender. "I'm not angry. I read enough. I saw the titles, the thumbnails. And I thought about what it meant, that you kept those tabs open, kept coming back to them. That the one you visited most was about a woman with powers beyond human, using them on a man who loved every second of it."

Derek's mouth was dry. "Maya, I can explain. It's just... it's private. It's a weird thing I have, and I never meant for you to see it. I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize." Her voice was warm now, almost amused. "Because I have a secret too, Derek. And I think you're going to love it."

He blinked. "What?"

She raised her hand. It was a small, graceful motion, the same way she might gesture to point out something in the sky. The air around him changed pressure, a subtle shifting like the moment before a thunderstorm breaks.

And then his gym bag was ripped from his grip.

It flew across the gym, tumbling end over end, slamming against the padded wall with a dull thud. Derek watched it happen, his body frozen, his mind slow to catch up. He turned to look at Maya, and the smile on her face was nothing like the one he knew. This was a predator's smile, slow and deliberate, with all the patience of a woman who had nothing left to hide.

"Your shoes," she said.

The sneakers were yanked off his feet. They flipped through the air and landed in a far corner, one on top of the other, like a perfectly executed trick shot.

Derek stood in his socks, his heart slamming against his ribs.

"What the hell—"

"Shh." Maya walked toward him, and the air around her seemed to hum with an energy he could feel in his teeth. "I've been hiding this my whole life, Derek. Every time you touched me, I had to hold back. Every time you joked about my having strong hands, I laughed, but inside I was thinking how easy it would be to show you the truth. And then I found your history, and I realized."

She stopped in front of him, so close he could smell the faint lavender of her shampoo.

"Realized what?"

"You're the first person I've ever met who would understand." She reached out and touched his chest with one finger, and the pressure of it was nothing, gentle as a breeze. "You're not scared, are you?"

Derek's mouth worked. He should be terrified. He should be backing away, calling security, questioning everything he knew about physics and reality and the girl he had been dating for eight months. But his heart was not hammering with fear.

She noticed before he did.

Her gaze dropped downward, and the smile she gave him was warm, knowing, unbearably tender.

"Interesting," she murmured. "Very interesting."

Before he could respond, the force hit him.

It was like being caught in a wave. The air thickened and pressed against his chest, shoving him backward until his spine hit the padded wall of the gym, and he was pinned there, feet dangling inches above the floor. His hands flew out, pressing against the wall behind him, but there was nothing to grip. The pressure held him in place, relentless but not painful, like being pressed between two mattresses.

"See how easy that was?" Maya walked toward him, unhurried, her footsteps silent on the rubber mat. "I could hold you here all night. Or I could let you go, and we could pretend this never happened."

"Please," Derek gasped, and he did not know if he was begging to be released or for her to keep going.

Her eyes glittered in the fluorescent light. "Please what?"

She let him fall.

It was not a gentle drop. The pressure released him two feet above the ground, and he hit the wrestling mat hard enough to knock the air from his lungs, a sharp crack of impact that vibrated up through his ribs. He rolled onto his back, gasping, seeing stars, and above him Maya stood, silhouetted against the harsh lights.

"Oops," she said softly.

She crouched beside him, and her hand came to rest on his chest, right above his pounding heart. Her touch was cool, and her eyes were bright, and she was close enough that he could see the fine dark lashes framing her gaze.

"I could do that again," she said. "Harder. Or I could do something else. There's a lot of things I've never tried, Derek. A lot of things I've only ever dreamed about." Her smile widened. "And you've given me some very good ideas."

She glanced down at his shorts.

The smile froze on her face, then melted into something soft and hungry. She had seen his body respond to her display of power, seen the unmistakable evidence straining against the fabric of his athletic shorts. Her fingers curled into the cotton of his shirt.

"Do you want to go somewhere more private?" she asked, her voice a low murmur against his ear.

Derek swallowed. His voice, when it came, was barely a whisper.

"Yes."

Maya rose in one fluid motion, the way a cat might, and offered him her hand. Derek took it, and the strength in her grip was shocking, effortless, as if he weighed nothing. She pulled him to his feet, and for a moment they stood chest to chest, her dark eyes searching his.

"The equipment room has a lock," she said. "It's small. Quiet. No cameras."

He nodded, not trusting his voice.

She led him across the gym, her hand wrapped around his, and he followed like a man walking into deep water, aware that the shore was already far behind him. The equipment room door was a heavy steel slab, and when she pushed it open, a wave of warm, dusty air washed over them. Inside, the space was cramped, maybe twelve by twelve, lined with shelves of medicine balls, resistance bands, and stacked wrestling mats. A single bare bulb hung from the ceiling, casting a harsh, unflattering light on everything.

She closed the door behind them and turned the deadbolt.

"There," she said softly. "Private."

Derek stood in the middle of the room, his heart pounding, his breath shallow. The air was thick with the smell of rubber and dust and something else, something electric, like ozone before a storm.

Maya crossed to the stack of wrestling mats and sat down, patting the space beside her. He sat. His legs felt weak.

"So," she said, her voice light, conversational, as if they were discussing a class schedule. "You were going to explain yourself."

"I told you, it's just a weird thing I have."

"It's not just a weird thing." She tilted her head. "You got hard when I slammed you into the mat. You got hard when I pinned you to the wall. That's not a weird thing, Derek. That's a need."

He opened his mouth to deny it, but nothing came out.

"You watched those videos," she continued, "that one about the woman with hardened breasts crushing a man's chest. You watched it fourteen times. I counted the tabs." Her smile was gentle, almost apologetic. "So don't tell me it's private. You're sitting next to the woman who does your laundry. I know your boxers. Tell me the fantasy."

He looked down at his hands, at the calluses on his palms from the deadlift bar, at the fine tremor running through his fingers.

"It's not... it's not something I can say out loud," he mumbled.

Maya leaned over and placed her hand on his thigh. Her touch was light, but he felt the heat of it through the cotton of his shorts.

"Say it for me," she said. "And I'll show you what it would be like."

He swallowed. "The video. The one I watched the most. There was a woman, she was like... she was stronger than any man, stronger than anything. She could crush a man's skull with one hand. And she had this power, she could make her body harder, like steel. Her breasts, God, they were like slabs of concrete, and she used them to... to squeeze a guy's cock between them. Just crushed it, not in a painful way, in a, like, a perfect fit way. And she gave him thirty seconds to come or she'd test the yield strength."

Maya's hand tightened on his thigh, and a shiver ran through him.

"And you watched that how many times?"

"Too many."

"And when you watched it," she said, her voice low, "you imagined it was you, didn't you? You imagined a woman so strong you couldn't fight back, so powerful you couldn't do anything but surrender. You imagined what it would feel like to be completely, utterly under someone's control. Not scared, not hurt. Just... owned."

His throat was tight. "Yes."

She was silent for a long moment. The bare bulb hummed overhead.

Then she moved.

She rose from the mat in a single motion, and before he could react, she had straddled him, her knees on either side of his hips, her body a warm weight pressing him down onto the mat. Her hands came to rest on his shoulders, and the grip was iron, immovable.

"Like this?" she asked softly.

He looked up at her, at the sharp lines of her face caught in the bare light, at the quiet confidence in her eyes. And he nodded.

She leaned forward, her mouth close to his ear, her breath warm against his skin.

"Tell me the rest."

"There's not much more," he whispered. "She made him beg. She made him say please. And then she squeezed, and he came, and she laughed and let him go."

"Mmm." She pulled back, and her smile was a knife's edge in the dim light. "That sounds fun."

And then, before his eyes, she changed.

It was not dramatic, not like the movies. It was a shift in density, a subtle compression of muscle and tissue beneath her black athletic top. The fabric stretched, strained, and then settled against a new contour beneath it. Her chest, normally soft, became something else. The outline was visible even through the fabric, hard planes and dense curves, like marble sculpted into the shape of a breast.

Derek stared.

"Touch me," she said.

His hand trembled as he raised it. He pressed his palm against her chest, and the sensation was astonishing. Warm but unyielding, not flexible like flesh but solid, like a thick steel plate wrapped in silk. He could not compress it even slightly. He pushed, and nothing gave.

"That's the yield strength," she murmured. "I don't know the number, but I tested it once on a cinder block. The block lost."

He could feel himself straining against his shorts, harder than he had ever been. She noticed, and her smile widened.

"Is that the fantasy?" she asked.

"Yes," he breathed.

"Say it."

"I want you to squeeze me with them. I want you to hold me between them and make me come. I want... I want to see what it feels like to be completely owned by you."

Her eyes glittered. "Good boy."

She shifted, sliding off his hips and kneeling between his legs. Her hands went to the waistband of his shorts, and she pulled them down with a casual efficiency that made him gasp. His cock sprang free, hard and aching, and she looked at it with the same clinical intensity she used on her anatomy charts.

"Thirty seconds," she said. "That's what the video said. We'll do thirty seconds. If you come in time, I'll let you go. If not, well." She smiled. "We'll find out what your yield strength is."

She unzipped her top and pulled it off, along with her sports bra, and the sight of her breasts stopped his breath. They rode high and full, but beneath the skin he could see the density of them, the way they caught the light differently, solid and beautiful and utterly inhuman.

"Whenever you're ready," she said.

And she pressed them together around him.

The sensation was overwhelming. Warm, soft against his skin, but beneath that softness was steel. The pressure built as she squeezed, and the warmth of her flesh, the hard unyielding weight of her, cradled his cock from base to tip in a perfect, crushing grip. He moaned, his head falling back against the mat.

"Thirty seconds," she reminded him. "I'm counting."

His hips bucked, but she held him in place, the pressure of her breasts pinning him perfectly immobile. There was no friction, no slide, just that incredible, impossible grip, tighter and tighter as she squeezed, and the heat of her engulfed him.

"Twenty," she said. "Hmm, you're close. I can feel it."

He was. The pressure was building, coiling low in his belly, and the sight of her above him, her smile knowing and hungry, her body a weapon she had kept hidden her whole life, pushed him over the edge.

"I'm—"

"Fifteen seconds."

He came with a shout, his body arching off the mat, and the orgasm ripped through him like a wave, hot and violent and all-consuming. She held him through it, squeezing just enough to prolong it, to draw every pulse of release from him until he collapsed, gasping, drenched in sweat.

She released him, and the pressure vanished. Her breasts returned to their normal softness, and she sat back on her heels, looking down at him with a satisfied smile.

"Thirteen seconds," she said. "New record."

Derek lay on the mat, chest heaving, dizzy with the echoes of his climax. "Holy shit."

"Was that the fantasy?"

"That was beyond the fantasy."

She laughed, and the sound was warm, almost girlish, the same laugh she gave when he told a bad joke. She leaned forward and kissed his forehead, soft and gentle.

"Good," she murmured. "Because I have a lot more ideas."

And in the dim light of the equipment room, with the scent of sweat and rubber in the air and the girl he loved glowing above him, Derek had never felt more terrified, or more alive.
