Chapter 1: Beginning

The night air was electric, buzzing with the city's endless energy. Taxi horns blared, sirens wailed, and the neon lights of the cocktail bar flashed invitingly. The neon sign read "The Mixing Glass," a speakeasy-inspired joint that promised an intimate atmosphere with a twist. Emily loved the vintage vibe, the hidden entrance, and the idea of sipping on craft cocktails while reminiscing about the old days. But tonight, she had something even more thrilling in mind.

She stepped out of the taxi, her heels clicking against the cobblestone street.

Ben was already there, leaning against the wall beside the inconspicuous door, his eyes scanning the crowd. Soft jazz music played in the background, setting the tone for an evening of relaxation and indulgence. The patrons were a mix of young professionals and older couples, all engaged in lively conversations, their laughter echoing through the space.

Emily and Ben found a cozy booth in the corner, the leather seats cool against their skin. A waiter in a stylish apron approached them, his notepad at the ready. "What can I get you tonight?"

Emily turned to Ben, a playful glint in her eye.

"Before we order, how about a little game?"

Ben raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A game, hm? I'm in."

She leaned in closer, her voice a low purr. "Four questions. About my outfit. If you get one wrong, I pick your drink."

Ben grinned, his fingers drumming lightly on the table. "Alright, let's hear it."

Emily sat back, her eyes never leaving his. "First question: What color is my dress?"

Ben's gaze traveled slowly down her body, lingering for a moment before settling on her dress. "Black.
