Rome owns a magic shop. She gets a box of cursed items from an estate sale. The items all all super horny and transforms the sex of the people affected by them into 'yes! please! ’ but the items are more sinister than she knows and affect both people in the 'relationship'. She marks the box for destruction but things turn spicy when her apprentice Gwen puts on a cursed bracelet just to 'see how it feels', and Rome is the only other person in the shop.

Chapter 3: The Scent of Roses and Ruin

The scent hit them like a physical blow.

Freya’s Bloom didn’t just smell; it invaded. One second Rome was drowning in the silken torture of Gwen’s gloves, the next the air turned thick and saccharine, bursting with the cloying promise of spring orchids and sun-warmed skin. It bypassed thought and went straight to the lizard brain, the primal core where words like ‘should’ and ‘can’t’ dissolved into ash.

A low, wanting groan escaped Gwen. The touch-hunger from the gloves merged with this new, deeper craving—a need to worship, to serve, to taste. Her glazed eyes fixed on Rome, on the elegant line of her throat, the curve of her hip where the thin dress clung. The cursed horn, cool and unnervingly smooth, was suddenly in her gloved hand. It felt like an extension of her own desperate wanting.

“Gwen, no—” Rome choked out, but the perfume was in her lungs, in her blood. Her protest was a flicker, a ghost of a habit, instantly smothered by the heat radiating from her own skin and the sight of Gwen sinking to her knees before her.

Gwen pressed her face against Rome’s inner thigh, a shuddering inhale against the warmth there. “You’re so beautiful,” she whispered, her voice thick with the Bloom’s influence. “Let me… please, let me show you.”

Before Rome could form another useless word, Gwen’s gloved hand, holding the Horn, slid the slick, cool tip of the artifact along her slit, through the damp fabric. Rome’s head slammed back against the shelves with a thud. Her hands, which had been clinging to Gwen’s wrists, now fisted in the wild red curls, holding on as the world fractured into pure, shocking sensation.

The Horn wasn’t just an object; it was a conduit. The pleasure Gwen’s mouth promised was amplified, focused, transmuted into something devastatingly precise. Every stroke, every lick through the fabric was multiplied, echoed, expanded until Rome’s knees buckled. She could feel the soft, insistent pressure of the Horn, a counterpoint to the silken, demanding heat of Gwen’s tongue.A bolt of lightning shot up her spine.

“Oh, God,” she gasped, her vision swimming. The Onyx Watchman glowed like a tiny, approving sun. Fuck professionalism. The thought was a distant, dying star.Fuck the rules. Her hips stuttered forward of their own accord, seeking more, chasing the devastating rhythm Gwen was setting. The bracelet on her wrist burned, a shared circuit of pure, escalating need.

But beneath the riot of sensation, a sliver of her—the witch, the shopkeeper, the one who paid the bills and faced the Magisterium inspectors—clawed its way to the surface. The smell. It was getting stronger. The vial was still leaking. If this scent permeated the wards, escaped into the street…

With a sob of effort that was half agony, half ecstasy, Rome forced her eyes open. The vial glinted, a malevolent jewel, on the shelf just above Gwen’s bowed head. The pool of perfume beneath it was spreading.

One hand remained anchored in Gwen’s hair, guiding, begging. The other stretched out, fingers trembling violently. She couldn’t reach. Gwen, sensing the shift, moaned in protest, her ministrations becoming more fervent, as if she could pull Rome back down into the sweet oblivion.

“Gwen… the vial,” Rome rasped. “Baby, I need… just…”

Summoning every ounce of will she had left, Rome planted her feet, arched her back against the shelf for leverage, and lunged. Her fingertips brushed the cool crystal. She clawed it toward her, the motion clumsy, desperate. Her other hand pulled Gwen’s face harder against her, a silent plea for her not to stop, not even for a second. She fumbled for the cork, slick with the oily perfume. Her grip slipped. Cursing, she pressed her thumb hard into the soft wax seal around the cork’s base, magic flaring hot and sharp from her core—a simple, brute-force containment spell. The flow stopped. The cork held.

A wave of shuddering relief, indistinguishable from the crescendo of pleasure Gwen was coaxing from her, washed through Rome. Her arm fell slack, the sealed vial clutched to her chest like a trophy. She sagged back against the shelves, utterly spent, her body humming, sensitive to the very air.

She looked down at Gwen, who was looking up at her, lips swollen and glistening, eyes dark and utterly claiming. The moment hung, suspended, perfect. The Bloom was contained. The Horn… well, that was still in play, and Rome felt a fresh, hungry pulse deep inside at the thought.

Then her weight, shifting against the overburdened shelf, dislodged a small, ornate tin she hadn’t even registered was there. It tumbled, end over end, hitting the wooden floor between them with a soft, decisive clack. The lid popped off.

A cloud of iridescent powder—Phoenix Dust, a substance she’d catalogued as “highly volatile, body-morphic, desire-reactive”—erupted into the air. It hung for a split second, a glittering nebula in the Watchman’s amber light, before settling over them like radioactive, magical snow.

It touched skin, was inhaled, fused with the sweat and perfume and magic already coating them. The change was instantaneous and profound.

For Rome, it was a wave of sculpting heat. Her body, already curved, deepened. Hips flared, waist cinched, breasts grew heavy and full, straining against the lace of her dress. Her already-tall frame seemed to gain a new, powerful grace. A lush, predatory sensuality settled into her bones. She felt… amplified. Every latent desire to consume, to claim, magnified a hundredfold.

For Gwen, the powder burned cooler, a reshaping towards an ideal. Her dancer’s body grew softer in some places, more defined in others.Freckles deepened like gold dust across suddenly fuller breasts. Her hair became a more vibrant, wilder flame. She felt a shocking, confident power thrum through her limbs—the power of the siren, the seducer, the inheritor. She felt, for the first time, not like she wanted to be Rome, but like she could devour her.

They stared at each other, transformed, panting in the glittering air, two primordial creatures of want made flesh.

The front door of The Melting Pot burst open with a crash that shook the jars on their shelves.A woman stood framed in the doorway, backlit by the dull streetlights. Adelia.Senior Witch of the Magisterium Containment Division. Her grey hair was in a severe bun, her practical trench coat damp with rain. In her hand, held out before her like a weapon, a nullification rod hummed with contained, nullifying force, its grey light washing over the scene.

Her sharp eyes took it all in: the transformed, glittering bodies; Gwen on her knees, the Unicorn’s Lower Horn still in her gloved hand; Rome, voluptuous and stunned, clutching a vial of Freya’s Bloom to her heaving chest; the thick, reeking cloud of pheromones and magic; the smug, glowing Onyx Watchman. Her face, usually a mask of bureaucratic calm, tightened into lines of profound, icy disapproval.

“Rome,” Adelia said, her voice like a steel trap snapping shut. “By the authority of the Magisterium, I am here to investigate a Category Four Containment Breach.” Her gaze swept the wreckage of the restricted section. “It appears the breach is… ongoing.”

Rome, her mind still swimming in a soup of afterglow, pheromones, and transformative magic, blinked slowly. She looked from her own spectacular new body, to Gwen’s awestruck face, to the furious, orb-wielding authority figure who held her license and livelihood in her hands.

All her pragmatism, all her dry wit, evaporated. One succinct, perfect word summed up the entire catastrophic, beautiful, world-ending situation.

“Fuck.”
