Chapter 1: First Encounter
The air in India’s bedroom tasted like vanilla and salt. A single candle flickered on the dresser, its light lapping at the edges of the room, failing to reach the corners where shadows pooled like oil. The scent, usually soothing, was undercut by something else—the musk of skin, the sweet decay of whiskey in a glass, the sharp, metallic hint of a copper pot left drying on a windowsill. Silk sheets were tangled at the foot of the bed, worn thin in places, and the pillows held the deep, damp impressions of heads that didn’t belong.India lay on her back, naked. The mattress sighed under her weight. Her small breasts, pale against her dusk-gold skin, were flattened slightly by the angle, nipples dark and stiff in the warm, still air. One hand rested on her belly, where fine, dark hair formed a soft trail down to the dense, curly thatch between her legs. Her other arm was thrown over her eyes, not in shame, but as if the candlelight was too much, as if she needed the dark behind her lids to focus on the feeling.
Matt stood by the bed, dressed only in faded jeans, his thumb hooked in a belt loop. His red beard caught the flame-light.“You see?” he said, his voice low, almost reverent. “You see how ready she is?”
Derek stood on the other side, still in his t-shirt and chinos. He looked younger than his twenty-one years, his face boyish, soft. He was a big guy, solid in a way that spoke of strength, not just softness. His hands, calloused from wrenching on bike chains, hung at his sides. He was watching India’s chest rise and fall, watching the way her free hand now crept down to part her own folds, glistening in the low light.“She’s wet,” Matt stated, a fact, a point of pride. “She’s been thinking about this.About you.”
Derek swallowed. He’d come over to fix India’s mountain bike, a simple derailleur adjustment. Matt had offered him a beer. Then another. The conversation had slid, so easily, into places Derek never talked about. His lack of experience. His size, or lack of it.Matt hadn’t laughed. He’d listened, his green eyes bright, and then he’d said, “India would love to meet you.”
Now, here.This.
“It’s okay,” India murmured, her voice a husky scrape. She lifted her arm from her eyes and looked right at Derek. Her eyes were deep brown, warm, with no trace of mockery.“Really. Come here.”
Matt moved then, a guide, a facilitator. He put a firm hand on Derek’s shoulder and guided him to the edge of the bed. He leaned down, his beard brushing India’s temple as he whispered something to her.She nodded, a quick, eager jerk of her chin.
“Go on, Derek,” Matt said, stepping back. “Just go on.”
With fingers that felt thick and clumsy, Derek unbuttoned his chinos. The room was silent except for the wet sound of India touching herself and the guttering hiss of the candle. He pushed his pants and boxers down. The cool air touched his skin. He was, as he’d said, modest. He was fully hard, and it looked even smaller that way, a determined little assertion of itself.India didn’t look away. She made a sound in her throat, a low hum of approval.“It’s perfect,” she breathed. “Matt.”
Matt was there again, kneeling on the bed now, one knee pressed to the small of India’s back, guiding her hips up.He took Derek in his hand. His grip was dry, firm, almost professional. He aimed him.The first touch of his head against her was an electric shock. She was so hot, so impossibly slick.Derek gasped.Matt pushed his hips, a gentle, insistent pressure. Derek felt himself sink into a tight, velvet warmth, a wet heat that enveloped him completely. He was in.All of him.
“Oh, god,” India moaned, the sound long and loud, filling the room, bouncing off the walls. Her back arched, pushing her breasts up. “Oh, fuck, yes.Right there. Right there.”
The noise was startling, almost theatrical in its intensity, but the clenching of her body around him was utterly, authentically violent. Derek froze, embedded in her, stunned by the sensation, by the sheer volume of her.
Matt had withdrawn to the side of the bed, kneeling on the floor now, watching. His hands were clasped in his lap, his green eyes wide and unblinking.
Derek looked down at India’s face. Her eyes were squeezed shut, her mouth open in a silent ‘O’. He was inside another person. He was causing this. A current, hot and dark, began to flow up from his groin, into his belly. His own shyness, his disbelief, began to burn away in that current. He pulled back, an experiment. The friction was exquisite.
India wailed.“Yes!”
He pushed back in.Harder.
“FUCK!” she screamed, her body bucking.Something in Derek clicked. The disarming smile he usually wore was gone, wiped clean. His face settled into a plain of calm, focused intensity. This was his.His rhythm. His action causing her reaction. He placed a hand on her thigh, not for balance, but for possession. He moved again, setting a pace that was his own, no longer guided.
“Look at him,” Matt whispered from the floor, his voice thick with awe. “Look at him go.”
Derek heard him, but the words were distant.India was his world. The slap of their skin, the smell of her, the incredible, noisy feedback of her pleasure. He shifted his angle, driven by instinct, and India’s screams pitched higher, fractured into sobs. Her hands clawed at the sheets.
“You like that?” Derek heard himself ask, his voice lower, rougher than he recognized.“Yes! Please, please, don’t stop!”
“Then take it,” he said, and he drove into her, a final, deep punctuation that seemed to lift her whole body off the bed. Her orgasm hit her like a seizure, a series of sharp, milking contractions around him that pulled his own release from him in a hot, surging rush. Her cries dissolved into wordless, guttural shrieks that lasted long after he was spent, collapsed over her, his face buried in the sweaty hollow of her neck.
Silence, broken only by their ragged breathing and the frantic hammer of India’s heart under his ear.
Slowly, Derek pushed himself up.He slid out of her. He stood on shaky legs, pulling his clothes back on with a mechanical simplicity. He looked at India, a spent, trembling mess on the damp sheets. He looked at Matt, still kneeling on the floor, his expression one of raw, worshipful gratitude.
The candle chose that moment to die, the flame drowning in its own wax. The room plunged into a deep, textured blue gloom. In the dark, Derek zipped his fly. The sound was final. He didn’t know what came next. But as he looked at his own hand, the one that had been on her thigh, he felt a new and terrifying certainty settling into his bones. This was just the start.
