Chapter 4: The Double Threat
The murmur from downstairs swelled, then sharpened into approaching giggles and the syncopated rhythm of two pairs of feet on the stairs. They appeared in the doorway as a matched set, leaning into each other, their arms slung around shoulders. Lisa and Megan. Identical from their artfully tousled blonde waves down to their matching scarlet toenails, save for the tiny silver stud in Megan’s left nostril.
“Petra said there was a queue,” Lisa said, her eyes already fixed on the bed.
“She also said it was worth the wait,” Megan finished, her voice a half-octave lower.
They had clearly been enjoying the party. Their cheeks were flushed, their movements slightly loose. Lisa wore a silky slip dress already slipping off one shoulder; Megan was in a tight black jumpsuit, the top half unzipped and tied around her waist, leaving her in just a lace bra and shorts. They disentangled and flowed into the room with the practiced ease of predators.
“God, he’s a mess,” Megan observed, peering down at Aidan. The evidence of the night’s earlier activities glistened on his skin.
“Our turn to make it worse,” Lisa grinned.
Catriona leaned against the bedpost, a fresh bottle of wine in hand. “Ladies. You remember the rules. Be creative. He’s all yours for… let’s say twenty minutes.”
“We don’t need twenty,” Megan said, climbing onto the foot of the bed. She crawled up Aidan’s body, her knees pressing into his thighs. “I call the mouth.”
“Bullshit,” Lisa countered, scrambling up the other side. “I called it in the car.”
“You called ‘shotgun.’ That’s different.”
They were now perched on either side of his hips, arguing over him as if he were the last dessert at a buffet. Aidan’s head swam. Their perfume was sweet and cloying, mixing with the room’s heavier scents.
“Fine,” Lisa huffed, a wicked gleam in her eye. “We’ll switch at five. On the count. Deal?”
“Deal.”
They moved with unnerving coordination. In a fluid, wordless motion, Megan swung a leg over his chest and lowered herself onto his face, just as Petra had, while Lisa positioned herself above his hips, guiding him into her with a soft, sighing gasp. The duality was immediate and staggering. He was engulfed, split between two separate yet identical heats.
“Okay, go,” Megan breathed, and they began to move.
It was a rhythm born of a lifetime of mirroring each other. When Lisa rose, Megan ground down. Their synchronicity was less about passion and more about competition, a silent, fierce game of one-upmanship played with his body as the board.
“He’s more responsive down here, I think,” Lisa taunted, rolling her hips in a slow, torturous circle.
Megan leaned forward, bracing her hands on the headboard, pressing herself harder against his mouth. “That’s because you’re basic, Lis. I’m giving him a proper workout.”
Catriona watched, sipping her wine, her green eyes alight with clinical fascination. She reached out occasionally to trace a finger along a twin’s sweat-slicked spine, a silent conductor.
At some unseen signal, they suddenly shifted. “Switch!” Megan cried, and in a tangle of limbs and soft laughter, they swapped places. Now it was Lisa’s taste, Lisa’s rhythm on his tongue, and Megan’s tighter, more aggressive grip taking him below. The change was disorienting, a seamless transfer of sensation that left him breathless.
“Told you,” Megan moaned from above him, her head thrown back. “Tighter.”
“Bitch,” Lisa mumbled from his mouth, but there was no heat in it, only a relentless, driving focus.
Their banter faded into heavy breathing, then into sharp, bitten-off cries. Their movements, once playful and competitive, coalesced into a single, driving purpose. They were chasing it together, as they always had. Aidan felt himself drawn along, a leaf in their current, his own exhausted responses becoming purely autonomic, a raw reaction to stimulus.
Their climax, when it hit, was simultaneous. A shared, shuddering intake of breath, then twin cries that harmonized in the candlelit air—Lisa’s a high, melodic keen, Megan’s a deeper, guttural sob. They clenched around him, one above, one below, in perfect, devastating unison. For a long moment, the only sounds were their ragged pants and the distant bassline from downstairs.
Then, as one, they collapsed. Lisa rolled off to his right, Megan to his left, their bodies slick and hot against his sides. The smell of sex and their shared perfume was overwhelming.
“Holy shit,” Megan whispered to the canopy.
“Yeah,” Lisa agreed.
Catriona moved forward, pouring wine into two fresh glasses on the nightstand. “Beautifully done,” she said, her voice warm with genuine praise. She placed a glass in each of their hands. They drank without sitting up, their breathing slowly steadying.
Aidan lay between them, utterly wrecked. The twins’ hands found each other across his chest, their fingers linking loosely over his sternum. It was an intimate, post-coital gesture that excluded him completely. He was simply the terrain they had conquered together.
After a few minutes, Megan disentangled her fingers and sat up, taking a long swallow of wine. “We should get back. Sarah’s probably done a keg stand by now.”
Lisa nodded, sitting up as well. They rose from the bed with the same effortless grace, collecting their discarded clothes. They didn’t look back at Aidan as they dressed. At the door, Megan paused, glancing at Catriona.
“He’s a trooper. You’ve got a good one.”
“I know,” Catriona said softly.
Then they were gone, their laughter trailing back up the stairs as they descended.
In their absence, the room felt cavernous, the silence a physical weight. Aidan’s world had shrunk to the ache in his muscles, the chafing of the silk binds, the cold, damp sheets, and the profound, hollowed-out emptiness in his core. He was a vessel poured out.
Catriona sat on the edge of the bed beside him. She didn’t touch him right away. She just looked at him, studying the map of sweat and saliva and strain on his skin.
“Halfway, my love,” she whispered finally, her hand coming to rest, cool and gentle, on his pounding heart. “Just breathe.”
From the hallway, the music pulsed on, a promise and a threat. The door remained open.
