Chapter 9: The Karmic Circle
We fucked throughout the night. I don't know how many times either of us came. We took a short break before fucking again in the shower and then in bed again. I kept filling her with load after load of cum. When we finally stopped, it was only because she would miss her flight if we didn't.
I watched my cum leaking out of her as she was pulling up her panties. "Don't you dare lick that." she said realizing I had noticed it land in her panties, "I can't miss my flight, and we still have to pick up Charmi on the way."
The rest was a blur as we packed in a hurry, picked up Charmi from the dorm and drove to the airport.
"Still leaking," she said in a whisper from the passenger seat with a wink.
"What's leaking?" Charmi asked from the backseat.
"His break oil. I keep telling him I can almost feel it, but he thinks I am imagining things."
"You really should get that checked, Uncle," Charmi said, leaning forward between the seats. "Mom’s right. If you’re leaking oil, it’s dangerous. You could lose control."
"I already have, Charmi," I muttered, catching Neeta’s mischievous grin from the corner of my eyes. "She's just doesn't know it."
---
When I got back home, the house felt emptier than ever before. The next few days were incredibly long. I was both happy and sad. I was alive and dead. I kept reliving the night and day spent in Neeta. She was back to her husband now, back to not being mine, but returning to life's reality was proving harder than I had imagined. Only my diary knew everything. Nobody else ever would.
And then Sukhi called. Fuck. I dreaded answering the call. Surely, all hell had broken lose in Bangalore, but Sukhi surprised me.
He didn't sound angry or bitter. He sounded... relieved.
"Vijay," he said, his voice steady but weary. "I need to talk to you."
I braced myself, gripping the phone tighter. "What's up, Sukhi?"
There was a pause, the kind that carries the weight of years. "I always knew," he said finally. "About you and Neeta. Back in college. And now."
My stomach twisted. "You did?"
"I saw the way you looked at her. The way she looked at you. And then... the way you left. I knew why."
I exhaled sharply.
"Sukhi, I—"
"The funny thing is, she doesn't even realize it when she calls out your name. She did it the first time I fucked her, and she has done that ever since."
I sat down heavily on the couch, my mind racing.
Sukhi knew. He had always known. And yet, he had never said a word. He let me walk away. How could he?
"Anyway, I didn't call just to apologize for what I did to you all those years ago. I called to thank you." Sukhi's voice was calm, almost serene.
"Thank me?" I repeated, stunned. "For what?"
"I saw the change in her when she came back dude. She is alive again. She told me everything that happened there, so thank you for breathing life back into my wife."
I swallowed hard. "Sukhi, I—"
"Let me finish," he interrupted gently. "My boss never threatened to fire me. I lost the diamond I had chasing rocks. The irony of it all is that she fired me for not being "good enough" even after I fucked her brains out all through Valentine's day and night.
"What now Sukhi?" I asked, feeling a strange pity for the man.
"I don't know man... find a job I guess."
"Will you work for my company in Bangalore?"
There was a long pause on the other end of the line. I could almost hear Sukhi’s mind racing, weighing the offer against his pride.
"Vijay, why would you? After knowing how I betrayed you?"
"I am doing it for Neeta, not you," I cut in, leaning forward in my chair, my fingers gripping the phone tighter. "I don't want her working anymore. She deserves better."
Another pause.
Then Sukhi exhaled sharply, the sound carrying the weight of years of pride and regret. "You always were the better man, Vijay."
I leaned back in my chair, the leather creaking under my weight. "Just say yes, Sukhi."
He was quiet for a long moment. Then, softly: "Yes."
A single word, but it carried the weight of everything unspoken between us. The relief in his voice was palpable, as if a burden he’d carried for decades had finally been lifted.
I exhaled, running a hand through my hair. "Good. I’ll have HR send you the details."
"But it's still charity and I don't want charity." Sukhi's voice was firm, but there was a crack in it. The kind that comes from a man who knows he's lost everything but his pride.
"Listen Sukhi..."
"No, let me finish" he interrupted, "I owe you more than I can ever repay Vijay. Neeta may legally be my wife, but she belongs to you, always has. I won't ever come between the two of you. Consider this my Vantine's Day debt that either of you can claim at will.
