Chapter 5: Resolution
The quaint, picturesque village lay bathed in the soft, golden hues of the setting sun, the cobblestone streets casting long, dancing shadows that seemed to whisper secrets of old. The ivy-covered cottages, with their timber frames and thatched roofs, huddled together like old friends sharing stories, their chimneys puffing out lazy wisps of smoke that mingled with the cool evening air. The scent of roasting meat and freshly baked bread wafted through the streets, a comforting aroma that belied the dark presence lurking in the shadows.
Eliza, her body still aching from her ordeal, stood in the doorway of her cottage, her breath misting in the crisp air.
As she watched the village come alive with the evening's routine, she couldn't shake the images of the Yellow Bastard's brutal assault on Sister Maria. Her eyes stung with unshed tears, and her heart clenched with a mix of guilt and anger. Father Thomas, the village priest, was a man of steadfast resolve and quiet strength, but could he stand against this vile, twisted creature?
Father Thomas was a tall, lean figure, his face lined with the years of service to his flock. His eyes held a warmth that spoke of compassion and understanding, but there was a steeliness in his gaze that hinted at the strength beneath his gentle demeanor.
He stood in the doorway of his modest home, his hands clasped together in a calm, unassuming manner, his eyes scanning the horizon as if searching for answers in the fading light.
"Father Thomas," Eliza called out softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she approached him.
He turned to her, his features softening with a gentle smile. "Eliza, my dear," he said, his voice a soothing balm. "You look troubled."
Eliza hesitated, her eyes darting around nervously before settling back on the priest. She felt a pang of guilt for bringing such darkness to his peaceful world, but she knew she had to speak up.
The Yellow Bastard gasped and whistled, his eyes narrowing with lust and envy, his twisted face pressed against the window pane, as he watched a husband and his busty wife making out in the warm glow of their kitchen—her large breasts pressed against the rugged fabric of his shirt. Eliza's voice trembled as she spoke, her eyes cast downwards, avoiding the priest's steady gaze. "Father, there's something I need to tell you. Something that happened while I was away."
Father Thomas's brow furrowed with concern, his eyes never leaving Eliza's face. "Of course, my child. You can tell me anything."
Eliza took a deep, shaky breath, her hands clenched tightly at her sides. "It's about the Yellow Bastard. I...I saw him, Father. I saw what he did to Sister Maria.
His eyes were a mask of pure, vile desire.
He goes to the bedroom window and sees them fucking. The Yellow Bastard was obsessed with beautiful women and if he saw one, he would do anything to get his way. And if he saw it during the night, he would be out of his mind.
The Yellow Bastard's grip on Maria's hips tightened, his body slamming into her with increased fervor as he leaned against the window.
"I saw him, Father. I saw the Yellow Bastard. He...he took Sister Maria.
