Chapter 2: Building Tension
The next morning, I woke to the sound of Emily's alarm blaring from her phone. I stirred, my body aching from the unfamiliar position I'd slept in, curled up at the foot of our bed. I stretched, my muscles protesting, as I pushed myself up onto my elbows. Emily was already gone, her side of the bed cold and empty.
I sighed, running a hand through my disheveled hair. Another day, another dollar, I thought wryly. I swung my legs over the side of the bed, my feet sinking into the plush carpet.
I was still clad in the lingerie from last night, the lace feeling foreign and slightly uncomfortable against my skin. I stood up, my reflection staring back at me from the full-length mirror attached to the closet door. My eyes traveled down my body, taking in the sight of the bra cups straining against my chest, the garters holding up the stockings, and the tiny panties that left little to the imagination. I looked like a stranger, someone I didn't quite recognize. Yet, there was a part of me that felt a spark of excitement at the sight, a thrill at the taboo nature of it all.
I reached up, tracing the edge of the bra, my fingers brushing against my skin. It felt strange, yet oddly liberating, to be dressed like this. I shook my head, pushing away the thoughts. I had things to do, a life to live, even if it was no longer entirely my own.
I made my way to the bathroom, turning on the shower to let the water heat up. I caught my reflection again, this time in the mirror above the sink. My eyes were tired, dark circles etched beneath them. The past few weeks had taken a toll, both physically and emotionally.
But I was determined to see this through, to prove to Emily—and maybe even to myself—that I could handle whatever she threw my way. I stepped into the shower, the hot water cascading over my body, washing away the remnants of last night's dinner and the lingering scent of vanilla.
As I dried off, I heard the front door click open. Emily was home. I quickly slipped on the robe she'd left hanging on the back of the bathroom door, tying it tightly around my waist. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for whatever came next.
Emily's heels clicked against the hardwood floor, growing louder as she approached the bedroom. I stood by the dresser, my hands clasped behind my back, waiting for her to enter.
She appeared in the doorway, her eyes scanning me from head to toe. She was dressed in a form-fitting black dress, her hair cascading down her shoulders in loose curls. She looked stunning, as always, and I felt a pang of jealousy at the thought of her out with someone else, enjoying herself while I was stuck here, playing dress-up.
"You're still in your robe," she observed, her voice cool and detached.
"I thought I told you to be ready for me."
I bowed my head, feeling the familiar flush of embarrassment creep up my neck. "I apologize, Emily. I was just finishing up in the bathroom."
She walked towards me, her heels clicking on the hardwood floor. She stopped in front of me, close enough that I could smell her perfume, a sweet, intoxicating scent that made my heart race. She reached up, her fingers tracing the collar of my robe.
"And why are you still wearing this?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"You know I prefer you in something... more appropriate."
I swallowed hard, my mouth suddenly dry. Appropriate. That word had taken on a whole new meaning since Emily had taken control. I looked down at the robe, then back up at her, meeting her gaze.
"I'm sorry, Emily," I said, my voice steady despite the turmoil inside me. "I wasn't thinking."
She smiled, a slow, predatory curve of her lips that sent a shiver down my spine. "Well, think now," she commanded, stepping back and gesturing to the bed. "Put on what I left for you.
Make sure you're presentable before I get back. I have plans for us tonight."
With that, she turned and left the room, leaving me standing there, my heart pounding in my chest. I waited until I heard the front door close behind her before I exhaled, releasing the breath I hadn't realized I'd been holding.
I turned to the bed, my eyes landing on the outfit she'd laid out for me. It was a simple black dress, modest in cut, but the material was thin and clingy, leaving little to the imagination.
Lying beside it was a pair of black lace panties and a matching strapless bra. I picked up the bra, examining it. It was smaller than my usual size, and I couldn't help but wonder if Emily had done that on purpose. I looked at my reflection in the mirror, imagining how the bra would push my breasts up, creating cleavage. The thought sent a jolt of electricity through me, a mix of excitement and apprehension.
I undressed, slipping out of the robe and the lingerie from last night. I stood naked for a moment, looking at myself in the mirror.
My body had changed since Emily had taken control. I was softer, rounder, my muscles less defined. I ran a hand over my stomach, feeling the slight paunch that had formed from weeks of Emily's cooking and my lack of exercise. I sighed, turning away from the mirror. This was who I was now, whether I liked it or not.
I slipped on the bra, adjusting the straps to fit as best as they could. It was tight, digging into my flesh, but I managed to hook it closed. I looked down at my chest, watching as my breasts spilled over the top of the cups.
Emily was right; the bra was too small, but that was the point. She wanted me to be uncomfortable, to feel exposed. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the rest of the outfit.
The panties were next, a delicate lace that felt like a whisper against my skin. They rode low on my hips, the waistband cutting into my flesh. I adjusted them, pulling them up as far as they would go, but they still felt too revealing. I could only imagine what Emily had planned for tonight, and the thought sent a shiver of anticipation down my spine.
Finally, I slipped on the dress.
It was made of a soft, silky material that clung to my curves, accentuating every inch of my body. The hem fell just above my knees, and the neckline plunged dangerously low, showing off more cleavage than I was comfortable with. I turned to the side, examining my reflection in the mirror. The dress was form-fitting, hugging my hips and ass in a way that left little to the imagination. I looked like a stranger, someone I hardly recognized. But there was a part of me that felt a thrill at the sight, a spark of excitement at the taboo nature of it all.
I had to admit, despite the discomfort, there was a certain liberation in dressing like this, in embracing this new side of myself.
I made my way to the kitchen, my heels clicking against the hardwood floor. I moved carefully, conscious of the way the dress hugged my body, the way the fabric rustled with each step. I felt exposed, vulnerable, but also alive in a way I hadn't felt in years.
Emily had left a note on the counter, her neat, precise handwriting scrawled across a piece of paper.
"Be ready by eight. Wear the dress. No panties." I stared at the note, my heart pounding in my chest. No panties? I looked down at the dress, then back at the note. Was she serious?
I glanced at the clock on the stove. It was already seven-thirty. I had half an hour to prepare, to psych myself up for whatever Emily had planned. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the evening ahead.
I made my way back to the bedroom, my mind racing. I slipped off the dress, letting it pool at my feet.
I stood there for a moment, naked except for the strapless bra, my heart pounding in my chest. I reached up, unhooking the bra, letting my breasts spill free. I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what was to come.
I slipped the dress back on, the silk caressing my bare skin. It felt different without the panties, the fabric rubbing against my most intimate parts with each movement. I felt exposed, vulnerable, but also strangely liberated.
I checked my appearance in the mirror one last time. My cheeks were flushed, my eyes bright. I looked... alive.
