Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Tweek was sitting in the passenger seat of his dad's car, staring out the window. He was supposed to be studying for his SAT test, but his dad's text about the date had distracted him. The sound of the door opening and his dad's voice ordering him to get in the car had also made him forget his homework.So, he was sitting in his room, playing his guitar and thinking about his first date with Craig.
He had been planning this date for months. It was going to be the perfect first date. They were going to eat at this really nice restaurant, then walk around the city and end up at this park where they were going to play tennis.The only thing that could make it better would be if his best friend, Chuck, was there too.
"Hey, Tweek," his dad s voice cut him off. "Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah, let's go," he responded, grabbing his backpack off the floor and buckling it up. "I'm ready for my date with Craig.What about you, Dad?"
His dad smiled. "I'm ready, son. Where's your mom?"
"She's working late. "Good. I need you to drive my car to the restaurant. I don’t want to mess with parking in the city on my first date, you know?"
"Of course, Dad. No problem.What time do you need me to pick you up?"
"We're going to eat at seven. I need you to be there by six." That gives me enough time to study for my test, I thought as I buckled my seatbelt. "See you at the restaurant, Dad."
"Sounds good, son. Talk to you later, bye.”
"Bye, Dad."
"Bye, Mom."
"You ready, Craig?" his dad asked as they pulled onto the main road to head out of the city. "How about a little music to get us going?" He turned to face his son, who was sitting in the passenger seat next to him.
