Chapter 6: Break into Two
As Amara and I stepped out of the chaotic club, the cold night air embracing us, I found my heart racing with anticipation. I had made the decision to follow the waves of attraction that pulled me toward her, and I could already feel the excitement bubbling within me, growing stronger by the second.
I led Amara through the narrow, dimly lit streets, and we walked in silence for a few minutes, each second intensifying the magnetic tension that coursed through us.
The silence that had fallen upon us started to feel heavy, riddled with anticipation, as we ventured further into the shadowy and mysterious alleyways. Unable to contain myself any longer, I whispered her name as if it were the only word capable of breaking the silence.
In response, she tightened her grip on my hand, the warmth of her skin an intimate reminder of our unspoken shared desires. I saw something in her gaze that hinted at the hunger lying just beneath the surface, waiting for its moment to strike.
That intense look alone was the final push I needed, giving in to the growing desire between us. I guided her to the entrance of an old apartment building, its once grandiose entrance now dimly lit and worn.
My heart thudded in my chest as I glanced at Amara, her eyes searching mine. I knew she was looking for reassurance, permission even, to follow me into this night's adventure. I nodded slightly, biting my lower lip, a mischievous glint in my eyes.
