Chapter 2: Set Up
Superboy waited in his corner for the sound of the bell signalling for the start of the second round. She has taken away his strength, she has taken away his dignity, and she has actully taken away his cape. No fooling around this round, he would come out swinging and take down that little she-demon before she knew what hit her
Wednesday sat in her corner waiting for the bell. Everything was going as planned. Grandmamas potions worked perfectly. Now if she could use the cape like Uncle Fester had shown her, Superboy was all hers .
At the sound of the bell Supeboy charged little Wednesday hoping to close the distance before she could react. Wednesday twirled Superboys cape like a matadore, stepping to one side and draping it over him as he sped on past.
As the cape billowed around him, the audience erupted in fits of laughter, punctuated by Wednesday's playful giggles. Wednesday pulled back the cape revealin Superboy, in all his glory with a pink fluffy tutu around his waist . Superboy unable to escape the pink frills, found himself transformed into a grotesque caricature—clumsy, embarrassed, and entirely exposed.
The once formidable hero stood motionless, as the crowd's laughter bombarded him.
"How do you like my new trick?" she taunted, trying to maintain her composure. "Ever felt so powerless before?"
Superboy, red-faced and trembling with rage and embarrassment, managed to tear the tutu from his waist.
He looked at Wednesday, the smallest spark in his baby blue eyes turning into flames of fury ready to ignite. The laughter from the crowd paled in comparison to the war brewing within the man-child hybrid superhero. Pride overcoming good judgement Superboy charges again. Wednesday drapes the cape once more and unveils Superboy dressed like a clown.
The audience doubles over in laughter, as the sound envelopes the arena like a tidal wave. The absurd sight left Superboy feeling a whirlwind of emotions—denial, anger, and eventually, a tinge of humiliation.
The once-arrogant Kryptonian struggled to stand tall under those bulging red nose and chequered overalls but his legs refused to carry him. Shamed, his knees locked, not from pride, but from deflation.
Wednesday circled her fallen opponent with a sly smile painted on her porcelain face.
She twirled the cape in hand, the fabric dancing through air in a chaotic ballet. Her plan had worked as intended; with every transformation, Superboy's morale crumbled, and his super strength slipped further from his grasp.
As the laughter from the crowd subsided momentarily, Wednesday saw the sheer humiliation etched into Superboy's face. He lay sprawled out on the canvas before her, his costume distorted beyond recognition. However, this was only the icing on Wednesday's cake.
Taunting the fallen super hero Wednesday stated 'you have been acting like a clown, you might as well look the part' Superboy took in the absurdity of his current state, a clown with a bulging red nose on his face, and the reality of his situation began to settle in. For the first time during this competition, he doubted his ability to win.
Wednesday turned away from her vanquished opponent, grinning wickedly under the dim arena lights. Gathering her composure once more, she opened the cape wide and continued circling Superboy with one casual stride around the ring.
Superboy grew ever more frustrated, the taunting hurting more than the blows, he tries again and again to hit but he cannot connect. :you fight like a girl ' Wednesday taunts him
, a glint of amusement in her dark eyes. Superboy's instincts kick into overdrive and he snaps back 'I'd rather be a strong girl than a weak boy any day!' A scattered chuckle runs through the crowd as Superboy's words bounce off Wednesday's stiff upper lip.
Meanwhile, Wednesday holds the cape aloft, her left arm extending gracefully as her right hand begins to twirl and weave the fabric. A sudden gust of wind takes over the arena, drawing spectators' eyes to the spinning material.
The cape swirls faster, transforming from a clown suit into a garish, voluminous dress complete with frills and lace, embroidered flowers, and snowflakes that seemed to shiver and gleam in the dim lighting. In another instant, the hems descended to revealing length, complete with fluffy white panties peeking out from underneath.
The buzz of disbelief and laughter grew deafening as Superboy froze there, staring in absolute shock at his latest outfit.
He had heard Wednesday's flippant remark as the cape shifted around him, but it seemed surreal that he had been transformed into a ludicrous, Disney-princess-like character. With no time to process the rapid change in his circumstances, he could only muster up a growl of anger before tearing at the gossamer fabric around his chest.
In his haste to rid himself of the embarrassing dress, Superboy unknowingly exposed his rigid, muscular form beneath the now ripped fabric.
The crowd giggled, some clapping their hands together in disbelief and amusement.
It was a scene like no other in the ring, but for Wednesday, she had saved the best for last. She envisaged her ultimate goal, a spectacle that would make Superboy hang his head in defeat.
Smiling under the spotlight's warm glow, she prepared to cast her final spell. Lifting the cape up and over her head like a magician's assistant, she whispered words from her witch's grimoire that reverberated through the arena.
The crowd watched Wednesday, mesmerized as she spun the cape.
The world seemed to stand still as a brilliant flash of light escaped the whirling fabric. Superboy trembled involuntarily, caught in the glare, though he could see nothing but a white haze.
As the light dissipated, Wednesday stood before Superboy who now wore an outfit more disgraceful than anything before.
He was encased in a frilly onesie, with sequins and glitter adorning every inch of fabric. His wide eyes were filled with shock and embarrassment, his bulging chest shamefully on display.
The bulge was there but not as prominent as before, his ego deflated in the aftermath of every new transformation.
The audience was on the edge of its seat, waiting to see what Wednesday would unfold next. The Kryptonian before them had been transformed into a laughing stock that could have starred in any children's cartoon.
Wednesday circled Superboy once more, wearing that smug expression that had fueled the hero's anger throughout the match.
"What now?" she mocked. "You wanted to fight like a man?
Now you can fight like a baby," Wednesday taunted. She raised an eyebrow, awaiting Superboy's reaction—which, for a moment, seemed to have flattened to the ground.
He lay there, seemingly forgotten about his ego completely and unable to disguise his shock. The fury that had once fueled him had transformed into something else entirely: shock.
The unspoken words echoed in his mind as he glanced up at the taunting figure who strode around the ring; Was I really acting like a baby all this time? As his eyes filled with tears Superboy backed away from Wednesday afraid of what might happen next if he remained in arm's reach of the witch's cape.
Wednesday stopped mid-stride, the corners of her lips curling into a knowing smile before she resumed her graceful, deliberate steps. Circling Superboy, she could see that the defeated figure before her had reached his emotional limit and was struggling to process his new reality.
Wednesday reveled in the power that she had gained as she controlled Superboy's transformation, making him her plaything for all the arena to see. 'All teared up with no place to go" taunted Wednesday. Whirling the cape one last time . The transformation was complete. Instead of the onesie Superboy was wearing a pair of pink ruffled baby panties and a matching bib, his boxing gloves replaced with pink baby mittens held in place with blue ribbons, his hair now held in place by pink ribbon tied with a little blue bow. The look was positivly precious
Superboy hung his head, ashamed and humiliated, as Wednesday's laughter echoed in the ring.
As the sound of jeers and cheers rang through the stadium, Superboy could not believe what he had become—a spectacle, a joke, wearing nothing but a oversized and ruffled baby pink cloth. His heart pounded in his chest, tears prickling his eyes as the once powerful and cocky superhero melted away in front of the audience.
Wednesday slowly made her way across the ring towards him, each step filled with calculated grace as the crowd held its breath. Superboy totally broken, tears flowing uncontrollably was led by Wednesday back to his corner as the bell sounded ending the round .
The raucous crowd cheered, both bewildered and utterly thrilled with the spectacle that unfolded before their eyes. For Superboy, however, the last moments of the fight had left him with a far more complex and humiliating outcome than he had ever imagined.
He stood there, clad in a frivolous pink outfit made for babies and not muscle-bound superheroes, feeling as though his entire world had come crashing down around him. Wednesday, on the other hand, stood triumphant just a few feet away from the defeated superhero.
