Chapter 4: The Reveal
The silence between the two coworkers lasted for several moments, filled with the whirring of computers and the distant murmur of voices from other cubicles. Rong rubbed his temples, his brow furrowed in concentration. "I don't know about pranks, but this is definitely messed up."
He handed the phone back to Bai He who looked at it with a deserved confusion. "When you're ready to talk. Ready to tell me what's really going on. I'll be here." Rong, spoke softly. If there were anger in his voice, he hid it well. Then he walked away back to his cubicle.
Rong might not have all the answers, but his presence alone helped her calm down. Bai He took a deep breath, trying to regain some control over her breathing. The device inside her continued its relentless pulsing, but she managed to ignore it somewhat, focusing on the task at hand.
She caught her reflection in the now dark terminal screen. The buttons of her blouse were undone, exposing the swell of her breasts. Her skirt was hiked up, revealing the damp patch of her arousal. She closed her eyes, the shame and humiliation washing over her like a tidal wave. This was not who she was. She was not a pawn in some perverted game.
When she opened them again, her reflected hands squeezed her bosom together, "Well, I guess an explanation is in order." The mirror Bai He spoke to herself.
Bai He leapt with a gasp , nearly toppling her chair as she scrambled to cover herself up. She glanced around the office, her heart pounding in her ears, but no one seemed to have noticed her little outburst. Or if they had, they were too polite to stare.
She quickly buttoned up her blouse, her fingers trembling with a mix of anger and embarrassment. This was all Jamie's fault. He had to be behind this. Who else would go to such lengths to humiliate and control her?
"Oh, my desire for good old Jimmie was a catalyst, yes. But you were the real cause. Every time I propositioned anybody, Jimmie or otherwise, your darn principles stood in the way."
Bai He's cheeks flushed with a mix of anger and humiliation. The stranger's words stung, a harsh reminder of the lengths she'd gone to maintain her morals. But this? This was beyond the pale. She gritted her teeth, her resolve hardening.
"I won't let you use me like this," she hissed. "I won't give in to blackmail or manipulation."
The device inside her hummed, its vibrations intensifying, as if in response to her defiance.
"Again, Bai He, you already have given in. Why won't you accept that?" The reflection asked, back to teasing her hardening nipples.
Bai He moaned from both the pleasure and the frustration. "I'm going insane, aren't I?" She whispered to her reflection, her chest heaving with each breath. She hated the helplessness that was threatening to consume her.
"Insanity is a matter of context, dear," the stranger replied, as if reading her mind. "And in the case, the context is you are a spy for the homeland. Well, I've been the spy. You have been, the front." Bai He's mind raced, her thoughts spiraling down a rabbit hole of impossibilities. "I'm a spy?" she whispered, her voice barely audible. "For China?"
"More like a sleeper agent, activated upon my whim," the stranger replied, the words echoing in her mind. "Or perhaps, more accurately, a deep cover operative. You were placed here five years ago, tasked with infiltrating the AI development company and gathering intelligence on their projects."
Bai He shook her head, her eyes wide with disbelief. "No, that's not possible. I'm just a software developer. I'm not a spy." Bai He whispered, denial coursing through her veins like ice water. "I have no military training, no special skills..."
"You don't need them. You were chosen for your intellect, your talent, your ability to blend in. You were given a new identity, a new life. And you've done remarkably well, Bai He. You've gathered valuable information, infiltrated key systems. Think less Jason Bourne, and more Severance. You've been a model operative." The voice was soothing, almost maternal, yet it sent a shiver down Bai He's spine.
"But the chips..." Bai He interjected.
"A productive opportunity. You could procure chips through this company. And it just so happens the homeland has had trouble procuring such high-quality chips from the US... legally. Your actions have been nothing but beneficial for the motherland."
Bai He's mind was a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. Betrayal, anger, disbelief—they all swirled together, creating a toxic cocktail that left her feeling nauseous. She couldn't reconcile the woman she thought she was with the woman she was being told she was. But the evidence was mounting, the pieces clicking into place like the ticking of a timing device.
"I don't want to be a part of this," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I just want to live a normal life."
"And I want Jimmie's moderately sized member rattling inside us while we cry about our broken dreams. But here we are, aren’t we?"
Bai He's face flushed with anger at the stranger's flippancy. "Why are you doing this to me?"
"To make you see, Bai He. To make you understand that your principles are a weakness. Protecting a purity you never truly had. And now, I took that purity away."
The device inside her pulsed, the sensation sending a jolt of pleasure mixed with pain through her. She gritted her teeth, trying to maintain her composure. "Oh, no. I'm going to... pee myself. If you don't stop this right now, I will call Rong, and then the police. I'll tell them everything." Bai He panted, her heart pounding in her chest. She was shaking, her body wracked with panic and arousal, a toxic mix that was threatening to consume her.
"I don't think you will, Bai He. You see, the luv-R is designed to be... persuasive. The more you resist, the more pleasure it provides.
The more pleasure it provides, the less you resist." The stranger's voice echoed in her mind, a sinister melody that seemed to resonate with the device inside her. Bai He's eyes widened in horror as she realized the truth in the stranger's words. The device was designed to keep her under control, to force her to comply with its commands.
"Please," she begged, her voice choked with tears. "Please, just stop. I'll do whatever you want. Just make it stop."
The stranger seemed to relish in her desperation, the luv-R's pulsations growing more intense with each passing moment. "I'll meet you halfway. You seem to be fond of Rong, and his bulge is quite apparent. I'll flatter him until his slips inside us, and I'll let you remain half-conscience to buck under his thrusts. Deal?" the stranger asked, their voice a smooth, velvet threat. Bai He's eyes darted around the office, her heart pounding wildly in her chest. She was desperate, her body and mind on the brink of shattering. She could feel the device inside her pulsing in time with her heartbeat, its relentless vibrations sending waves of pleasure and pain coursing through her.
"Yes," she finally choked out, her voice barely a whisper. "Yes, please."
There was a pause before the stranger replied, "Good girl. You may orgasm now. You have my permission." And with those words, the luv-R device began to vibrate with a new intensity. Bai He's body tensed, her breath caught in her throat as the pleasure washed over her like a tidal wave. She could feel the device inside her, massaging her most sensitive spots, sending shockwaves of sensation through her body. She bit down on her lip to stifle the moan that threatened to escape.
She looked around the office, her eyes wide with panic and pleasure. She could feel the heat rising in her cheeks, her body responding to the device's ministrations despite her best efforts to resist.
Until she passed out.
