Chapter 3: Catalyst
The air in the warehouse was thick with tension and the scent of ozone from Kara’s heat vision. The echoes of their struggle hung heavy in the air, a symphony of metal on metal, the snap of the whip, and the soft grunts of exertion. The dust danced in the moonlight filtering through the broken windows, creating a ghostly ballet that added to the surreal atmosphere.
Catwoman stood panting, her chest heaving beneath her form-fitting black suit. Her green eyes, hidden behind her cat-like mask, gleamed with a mixture of excitement and contempt.
"What do you think, Kara?" she purred, her voice a low, sensual growl. "You think you can handle me?"
Kara's own breath hitched, her heart pounding in her chest like a drumbeat. She could see the goosebumps rising on Catwoman's skin, could see the way her nipples hardened against the thin fabric of her suit.
She could hear the breath hitching in her throat, the way her pulse raced, a throbbing beat against Kara's fingers.
Kara's own body responded, her nipples pebbling against her suit, the tight fabric suddenly too constricting. "You like this, don't you, cat?" Kara growled, her voice low and dangerous.
"You fucking tease. You like playing with fire, don't you?"
Catwoman's lips curled into a wicked smile, her voice a sultry purr. "And you like playing with danger, don't you, Kara? Always the hero, always the good girl. But I see the fire in your eyes. I see the way your body responds to me. You're not as innocent as you pretend to be."
Kara's fingers tightened in Catwoman's hair, a harsh tug that made the thief gasp. "You don't know what you're talking about," she snapped, but her voice lacked conviction.
Her breath was coming in short gasps, her heart pounding wildly in her chest. She could feel the heat of Catwoman's body, the soft swell of her breasts pressing against her own.
Catwoman chuckled, a low, throaty sound that sent shivers down Kara's spine. "Oh, I think I do. I think you're just like me, Kara. You just hide it better." She leaned in, her lips brushing against Kara's ear. "You like the danger, don't you? The thrill of the chase.
