A man got a pocket watch that allows him to time travel to any era.

Chapter 4: Chapter 4

Kaori sat on the edge of the bed, the pocket watch clutched tightly in her hand. She had been avoiding this moment for days, weeks even. But she knew she couldn't keep it from Hiroshi any longer. Not when it could potentially change everything.

She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was to come. She could hear Hiroshi in the shower, the sound of water running filling the room. She waited until she emerged, a towel wrapped around her waist, his hair damp and mussed.

"Hey, what's up?" she asked, noticing her serious expression.

Kaori hesitated for a moment, her fingers tracing the intricate design on the pocket watch's casing. "I have something to tell you, Hiroshi. Something important," she began, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hiroshi's expression softened, and she sat down next to Kaori on the bed. "Of course, my love. You can tell me anything," she replied, her voice filled with warmth and concern.

Kaori took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "do You know about time travel" she asked

Hiroshi cocked her head to the side, a look of confusion on her face. "Time travel? Like, going back in time or something?" she asked, her voice filled with skepticism.

Kaori nodded, her fingers tightening around the pocket watch. "Yes, exactly like that," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hiroshi let out a soft laugh, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Kaori, that's not possible. Time travel is just a fantasy, a story we tell ourselves to escape the mundane," she said, her voice filled with certainty.

Kaori looked down at the pocket watch in her hand, her heart aching with the memories it held. "It's not a fantasy, Hiroshi. This watch, it has the power to take me back in time. To change the past," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hiroshi's expression turned serious, her eyes searching Kaori's face. "What are you talking about, Kaori? That's impossible," she insisted, her voice filled with disbelief.

Kaori shook her head, her fingers tracing the intricate design on the watch's casing. "It's not impossible, Hiroshi.

I've seen it with my own eyes. This watch, it belonged to my grandfather. "He gave it to me before he died, told me to use it wisely. I thought I'd lost it, but I found it again recently."

Hiroshi took the watch from Kaori, her brow furrowed as she examined it. "This looks like an antique, Kaori.

Are you saying it actually works?" Hiroshi asked, her voice filled with a mix of skepticism and curiosity. She turned the watch over in her hands, examining every inch of it.

"Yes, it does," Kaori replied, her voice steady and sure. "I've used it before,it changes everything before this reality this timeline I was a white man, but when I use The watch to travel back in time I cause a change in past, that change the future, when I get back to my time I realized that because of change in the past, my father becomes a girl and never meet my mother instead she marry my current father and I became a white male from to half Japanese women.

Now I'm your wife and we live in this beautiful reality together.""Hiroshi, I swear, I'm telling the truth. I didn't want to lie to you, but I was scared. I didn't know how you'd react, how you'd feel about all of this." Kaori's voice was filled with sincerity, her eyes shining with unshed tears.

Hiroshi stared at Kaori, her mind racing. She felt a mix of emotions, shock, disbelief, fear, and betrayal.

She looked away from Kaori, her gaze falling on the pocket watch still clutched in her hand. She couldn't wrap her head around what Kaori was saying. Time travel? It was impossible, wasn't it? Yet, here was Kaori, claiming it was real, and she had experienced it firsthand.

"What do you mean, Kaori? You were a man? And now you're... you're my wife?" Her voice was barely above a whisper, her mind struggling to grasp the magnitude of Kaori's revelation.

Kaori nodded, her eyes filled with tears. "Yes, Hiroshi.

I was born a man, in a different timeline. But when I used the pocket watch to travel back in time, I changed something in the past. That change rippled through time, altering my present. When I returned, I found myself in this reality, as a woman, then I fall in love with you and we got married.

Hiroshi stood up, pacing the room as she struggled to process the information. "I don't understand, Kaori. How could you keep something like this from me? We're supposed to be partners, to share everything with each other." Her voice was filled with hurt and betrayal.

Kaori's heart ached at the pain in Hiroshi's voice. "I'm so sorry, Hiroshi. I should have told you sooner. I was just scared.

I didn't know how you'd react, how you'd feel about all of this. I didn't want to lose you, Hiroshi. I love you more than anything," Kaori said, her voice breaking with emotion. She reached out, taking Hiroshi's hand in hers.

Hiroshi looked down at their entwined hands, her mind still racing. She couldn't deny the truth in Kaori's words. She could see the fear and uncertainty in her eyes, the sincerity in her voice. She took a deep breath, her grip tightening around Kaori's hand.

"I'm not going anywhere, Kaori.

I promise," Hiroshi said, her voice softening as she looked into Kaori's tear-filled eyes. "I just need some time to process all of this. It's a lot to take in."

Kaori nodded, wiping away her tears. "I understand, Hiroshi. I do. I just... I couldn't keep it from you any longer. It felt wrong, keeping this secret from you."

Hiroshi sighed, running a hand through her damp hair. "I'm glad you told me, Kaori. I am.

I just need some time to wrap my head around all of this," Hiroshi replied, her voice thoughtful. She released Kaori's hand and walked over to the window, looking out at the cityscape below. The sun was beginning to set, casting an orange and pink glow over the skyscrapers.

Kaori watched her wife, her heart aching with sadness and guilt. She knew this was a lot to take in, and she hated that she had kept it from Hiroshi for so long. She wished she could take it all back, start over, and tell Hiroshi the truth from the beginning.

But she knew that was impossible. All she could do now was be patient, give Hiroshi the space she needed, and hope that their love would be strong enough to weather this storm.

Hiroshi stood at the window, her reflection staring back at her in the glass. She could see the tension in her shoulders, the worry lines etched into her forehead. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts.

Time travel. It sounded so fantastical, so impossible. And yet, Kaori believed it with every fiber of her being. Hiroshi could see it in her eyes, hear it in her voice.

Kaori believed every word she had spoken, and that was what made it so difficult to dismiss as mere fantasy. She turned away from the window, her gaze falling on the pocket watch still clutched in Kaori's hand.

"Does it work both ways?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "Can you go back and change things, or is it only one-way?"

Kaori looked down at the watch, her fingers tracing the intricate design. "It works both ways," she admitted. "But it's not as simple as just going back and changing something. The past is... fragile.

Change one thing, and the ripple effects can be catastrophic. I've seen it happen before," Kaori said, her voice filled with caution.

Hiroshi nodded, her mind racing with possibilities. "So, if you go back and change something, you could create a new timeline? A completely different reality?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder and fear.

Kaori hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yes, that's correct. But I don't want to lost my current life being with you I am scared that somehow someone will use watch to change past and I will be gone from your life." Kaori's voice was filled with worry and fear.

Hiroshi listened intently, her mind racing with thoughts of what Kaori had just revealed. She looked at the pocket watch still clutched in Kaori's hand, her curiosity piqued. "Can I see it?" she asked, extending her hand towards Kaori.

Kaori hesitated for a moment before placing the watch in Hiroshi's palm. "Be careful with it. It's more powerful than you can imagine," she warned.

Hiroshi examined the watch, turning it over in her hands.

It was indeed an antique, the casing worn smooth by time and use. The hands ticked steadily, the seconds passing with an almost comforting rhythm. She couldn't believe that this small, unassuming object held the power to traverse time itself.

"It's beautiful," she murmured, looking up at Kaori. "And terrifying."

Kaori nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I know what you mean. It's both wondrous and frightening. But remember, with great power comes great responsibility."

Hiroshi raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth. "Spiderman?

Really, Kaori?" Hiroshi chuckled, handing the pocket watch back to her. "You're quoting Uncle Ben now?"

Kaori grinned, taking the watch and tucking it safely into her pocket. "Well, he did have a point. This thing is dangerous if it falls into the wrong hands," she said, her expression turning serious.

Hiroshi nodded, her gaze drifting back to the window. The sun had dipped lower, casting long shadows across the city. "So, what now? Do we just keep this a secret from everyone else?

Pretend like none of this ever happened?" Hiroshi asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She turned to face Kaori, her expression filled with worry and uncertainty.

Kaori looked down at her hands, twisting the simple gold band on her finger. "I don't know, Hiroshi. I never thought about what would happen if anyone else found out. I wanted to protect you, protect us," she admitted, her voice filled with guilt.

Hiroshi sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I know you did, Kaori. I know you were just trying to protect us.I accept you as you are now. We'll figure this out together.

I love you, Kaori," Hiroshi said, her voice soft and steady. She reached out, taking Kaori's hand in hers. Kaori looked up, her eyes filled with tears and gratitude. "I love you too, Hiroshi. More than anything," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hiroshi smiled, giving Kaori's hand a gentle squeeze. "So, what's our next step? Do we just keep this between us, or do we tell someone else?" she asked, her brow furrowed in thought.

Pocket watch glow with light then Temporis appear in front of them.

"You called, Mistress Kaori?" Temporis asked, bowing slightly.

Kaori looked up, startled. "Temporis! What are you doing here?" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise.

Temporis, a tall, elegant figure with silver hair and piercing blue eyes, smiled at Kaori. "I am bound to the watch, Mistress. When you call upon it, I appear. It is my purpose," he explained, his voice calm and steady.

Hiroshi looked between Kaori and Temporis, her eyes filled with confusion.

"Kaori, what's going on? Who is this?" She could feel her heart pounding in her chest, her mind racing with questions.

Kaori took a deep breath, her fingers tightening around Hiroshi's hand. "Hiroshi, this is Temporis. He's... well, he's like a guide, I guess you could say. He helps me navigate the intricacies of time travel," she explained, her voice filled with caution.

Hiroshi nodded, her gaze fixed on Temporis. "So, he's real? This isn't just some...

hallucination?"

Temporis bowed his head slightly, a patient smile on his lips. "No, Mistress Hiroshi. I am real, as real as you or Kaori. I am a manifestation of the temporal energy that powers the pocket watch," he explained, his voice calm and steady.

Hiroshi's eyes widened, her mind struggling to grasp the implications of Temporis' words. "So, if you're real, and the watch can really take us back in time...

what's to stop someone else from using it? Anyone could get their hands on it, change the past, and create a new reality without our knowledge." Hiroshi's voice was filled with worry, her mind racing with the possibilities.

Kaori looked down at the pocket watch still clutched in her hand, she said don't worry only people of my grandfather bloodline can use it .

"Even if someone else got their hands on it, they wouldn't be able to use it without the proper bloodline," Kaori explained, her voice filled with reassurance.

Hiroshi let out a sigh of relief, her shoulders relaxing slightly. "That's good to know. But still, we should be careful. We don't want anyone finding out about this, do we?" she said, her voice filled with caution.

Kaori nodded in agreement. "You're right, Hiroshi. The fewer people who know about this, the better.

Temporis said mistress because of you reveal yourself to your wife and she has accepted you a new power is unlocked now you can take her with you to the past.

Kaori's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you mean, Temporis? I can take Hiroshi with me?" she asked, her voice filled with hope and excitement.

Temporis nodded, he said and also there is new time lock power you can fix your current life, your family, your identity in timeline so even if a change occurs in past your current life will be protected from change .

Kaori's eyes widened in surprise and relief. "Really? I can protect our life together, our family?" But remember, using the time lock power will consume a significant amount of temporal energy. You must use it wisely and sparingly."

Kaori looked at Hiroshi, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "Hiroshi, we can protect our life together. I don't have to lose you, lose our family."

Hiroshi's eyes filled with tears as well, she took Kaori's hand in hers.

"I don't want to lose you either, Kaori. I want us to have a future together, no matter what timeline we're in."

Kaori smiled, her heart swelling with love and gratitude. "We will, Hiroshi. I promise."

Temporis cleared his throat, drawing their attention back to him. "There is one last power and small ability you can now alter past of someone without traveling back in time for example you can change that so a man was born as a Girl. "Wait, what did you say, Temporis? I can change someone's past without traveling back in time?" she asked, her voice filled with disbelief.

Temporis nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, Mistress. With the newfound power bestowed upon you, you can now alter the past of another person without physically traveling back in time. This ability is called 'Retroactive Gender Modification'," he explained.

Hiroshi looked between Kaori and Temporis, her brow furrowed in confusion. "I don't understand. How is that possible?

How can I change someone's past without going back in time myself?" Hiroshi asked, her voice filled with skepticism.

Temporis stepped closer, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light. "The pocket watch, Kaori's pocket watch, is a conduit for temporal energy. With it, she can tap into the very fabric of time itself and make alterations. This new ability allows her to do so without physically traversing the timestream."

Kaori looked at Hiroshi, her eyes wide with wonder. "I can't believe it.

It's like something out of a sci-fi movie," Hiroshi murmured, shaking her head in disbelief. "But how does it work? Can anyone's past be changed, or are there limitations?"

Temporis bowed his head slightly, acknowledging Hiroshi's question. "Indeed, Mistress Hiroshi, there are limitations. The Retroactive Gender Modification ability cannot alter the past of someone who is already deceased. It also cannot change the core essence or personality of an individual, only their physical form. And most importantly, person who has been changed will remember their past life for example a male heir of Clan was altered so he was born as a Girl in New timeline she is just now a daughter to be married off but she will remember her memories as male heir. Kaori nodded, her mind racing with the implications of Temporis' words. "So, if I use this ability, the person whose past I've altered will still remember their original life? They'll know that they were someone else, once upon a time?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder and unease.

Temporis inclined his head in confirmation. "Yes, Mistress Kaori. They will retain their memories of their previous life, although the intensity and clarity of those memories may fade over time.

Additionally, their physical form will be permanently altered, reflecting their new gender. However, their core personality and essence will remain intact."

Hiroshi frowned, trying to wrap her head around the implications. "So, if Kaori changes someone's past, they'll still remember being a man, even if they're now a woman? That sounds... confusing. And kind of cruel."

Kaori bit her lip, looking down at the pocket watch in her hand. "I never thought about it that way. It seem like how I was before I let my memories as Kaori take over my old timeline memories of being a man. I didn't know that was possible until I met you in this timeline," Kaori said, her voice filled with a mix of sadness and understanding.

Hiroshi reached out, taking Kaori's hand in hers. "We'll figure this out together, okay? We'll make sure to use this power responsibly, and only when it's absolutely necessary," she said, her voice filled with determination.

Kaori nodded, giving Hiroshi's hand a squeeze. "Together. I like the sound of that," she replied, a small smile playing on her lips.

Do we just keep this between us, or do we tell someone else? Maybe a trusted friend or family member?" Hiroshi suggested, her brow furrowed in thought.

Kaori shook her head, her expression turning serious. "I don't think that's a good idea, Hiroshi. We don't want to put anyone else in danger, or risk this information falling into the wrong hands," she explained, her voice filled with caution.

Hiroshi nodded, her gaze drifting to the window.

The sun had dipped lower, casting long, dancing shadows across the cityscape. "You're right, Kaori. We can't risk putting anyone else in danger. But what about your grandfather? He seemed to know about the watch's abilities. Maybe he can help us figure this out?" she suggested, her voice filled with hope.

Kaori hesitated, her fingers tracing the intricate design on the watch's casing. My grandfather is... Dead in my old timeline that how I got this watch I didn't know where he is in this new timeline or if he even exists. I don't want to involve him in this, at least not yet," Kaori replied, her voice filled with a mix of sadness and concern.

Hiroshi nodded, her gaze still fixed on the cityscape outside the window. "I understand, Kaori. We'll keep this between us, for now. But if things get too complicated, or if we need help, we'll have to reconsider," she said, her voice filled with determination.

Kaori smiled, grateful for Hiroshi's understanding. "Agreed.Kaori call Temporis can you time lock now our current life so even if a change occurs in past our current life will be protected from change?"

Temporis nodded, "Yes, Mistress Kaori. I can initiate the time lock now. However, remember that using this power will consume a significant amount of temporal energy. It is crucial to use it wisely and sparingly."

Kaori looked at Hiroshi, seeking her approval. "What do you think, Hiroshi? Should we do it?"

Hiroshi nodded, "Yes, let's do it.

I don't want to risk losing you or our life together, Kaori. Let's make sure we're protected, no matter what happens," she said, her voice filled with resolve.

Kaori smiled, relieved and grateful for Hiroshi's support. She turned to Temporis, "Go ahead, Temporis. Initiate the time lock."

Temporis tell before I activate Time lock I must tell you when I activate time lock you both will time travel to past for a moment and can be return to current time after one day, do you want to choose what time will you be going to?

Kaori looked at Hiroshi, "What do you think, Hiroshi? Where should we go?"

Hiroshi thought for a moment, " What about the Meiji era? I've always been fascinated by that time period. And it would be amazing to experience it firsthand."

Kaori nodded, "That sounds perfect. Temporis, can you take us to the Meiji era, specifically to Kyoto during the cherry blossom season?"

Temporis bowed, "As you wish, Mistress Kaori. As new ability user is no longer required to have a vessel, now I can craft temporary body to travel to past, what kind of body do you want doing time travel?" Do you have any preference?"Hiroshi shrugged and ask Kaori you were a man in previous timeline right

? "Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to experience it as a man this time. Just for the sake of curiosity, you know?"Kaori nodded, "Of course, Hiroshi. Temporis, can you make sure Hiroshi appears as a man during our trip to the Meiji era?"Temporis inclined his head, "Certainly, Mistress Kaori. I will ensure that Mistress Hiroshi appears as a man during our journey."Hiroshi grinned, "Thanks, Kaori. And what about you?

How would you like to appear?" Temporis asked, turning to Kaori.

Kaori thought for a moment, a mischievous glint in her eye. "How about a traditional geisha? I've always been curious about that lifestyle."

Hiroshi raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips. "A geisha, huh? Well, I guess that's fitting. You do have a certain elegance about you," she teased.

Kaori laughed, swatting Hiroshi playfully on the arm. "Very funny.

But seriously, Temporis, can you make me look like a geisha from that era? I'd love to experience what that was like," Kaori said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Temporis bowed slightly, a small smile playing on his lips. "Of course, Mistress Kaori. I will ensure that you appear as a traditional geisha from the Meiji era. Now, if you both are ready, I will initiate the time lock and our journey to the past will begin."

Hiroshi took a deep breath, her heart pounding with anticipation. "I'm ready.

Let's do this," Hiroshi said, her voice filled with excitement and a hint of nervousness. Kaori nodded, her grip tightening around the pocket watch. "Me too. Let's embark on this adventure together," she replied, her gaze locked with Hiroshi's.

Temporis raised his hands, his palms facing toward them. A soft, ethereal glow emanated from his fingertips, enveloping Hiroshi and Kaori in a warm, pulsating light. The room around them began to shimmer and warp, the edges of their reality blurring into a kaleidoscope of colors.

Hiroshi felt a strange sensation, like they were being stretched and compressed all at once, and then, as suddenly as it had begun, everything came back into focus.

They stood in the heart of Kyoto, surrounded by the vibrant bustle of the Meiji era. The air was filled with the sweet scent of cherry blossoms, their petals raining down like pink snow. Hiroshi looked down at herself, taking in the unfamiliar weight of a kimono and the feel of geta on her feet. She flexed her hands, marveling at the strength and agility they possessed in this masculine form.

Across from her, Kaori had been transformed into a stunning geisha, her kimono an exquisite shade of lavender, her obi cinched tightly around her waist. Her hair was styled in an elaborate updo, adorned with flowers and hairpins, and her makeup highlighted her eyes and lips, accentuating her features.

"Kaori, you look... breathtaking," Hiroshi stammered, unable to hide her admiration.

Kaori blushed, a genuine smile spreading across her face. "Thank you, Hiroshi. You don't look so bad yourself," she teased, looking Hiroshi up and down.

"I must say, you clean up quite nicely as a man."

Hiroshi chuckled, giving a mock bow. "Why, thank you, kind geisha. I must admit, I do feel rather dashing in this getup."

Kaori laughed, linking her arm with Hiroshi's. "Come on, let's explore. I want to see as much of this era as we can."

As they walked through the bustling streets of Kyoto, Hiroshi and Kaori marveled at the sights and sounds that surrounded them.

The city was alive with energy, its inhabitants going about their daily lives, blissfully unaware of the two time travelers mingling among them.

Hiroshi, still getting used to her new masculine form, found herself drawing admiring glances from the women they passed. She couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and confidence, a stark contrast to the reserved and somewhat anxious demeanor she usually carried in her own time.

Kaori, on the other hand, seemed to float through the crowd, her grace and elegance drawing admiring looks from both men and women alike.

She walked with a delicate poise, her fan fluttering gently in her hand, and her smile was as radiant as the morning sun. Hiroshi couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and pride as she watched Kaori navigate the crowded streets with such ease and confidence.

As they made their way through the bustling marketplace, the aroma of street food filled the air, making their stomachs rumble in unison. Hiroshi looked down at Kaori, a wicked grin spreading across her face. "You know, I've always wanted to try street food from this era.

What do you say we grab a bite, Kaori?" Hiroshi suggested, her mouth watering at the sight of skewers of grilled meat and fish being waved around by vendors.

Kaori's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "That sounds amazing, Hiroshi. I've been dying to try some of these dishes. Where should we start?"

Hiroshi scanned the market, her gaze landing on a particularly busy stall. "How about that one over there?

The line seems long, but that usually means it's the best," Hiroshi said, pointing towards a bustling stall where a man was grilling skewers of meat over an open flame. The air around it was thick with the tantalizing aroma of soy sauce, garlic, and something sweet that Hiroshi couldn't quite place.

Kaori's eyes followed Hiroshi's gesture, and she nodded eagerly. "That looks delicious. Let's go check it out."

As they approached the stall, the owner, a jovial man with a round belly and a sweaty forehead, greeted them with a booming voice.

"Irasshaimase! Welcome, welcome! Try my yakitori, the best in all of Kyoto!" he exclaimed, waving a pair of long metal tongs in the air.

Hiroshi and Kaori exchanged amused glances, the man's enthusiasm infectious. "We'll have two of your special skewers, please," Hiroshi said, handing over a few coins.

The man's eyes flickered briefly to Hiroshi's kimono, then to Kaori's, and back again. He grinned, winking at them conspiratorially. "Ah, I see you two are dressed for the part.

A fine samurai and his lovely courtesan, no doubt here to sample the finest yakitori in all of Kyoto," the vendor said, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Hiroshi raised an eyebrow, a grin tugging at the corner of her mouth. "Courtesan, you say? I daresay, Kaori might take offense to that," she teased, giving Kaori a playful nudge.

Kaori laughed, her fan fluttering in her hand. "I assure you, good sir, I am no courtesan.

I am a geisha, trained in the arts of music, dance, and conversation," Kaori replied, her voice laced with humor and a touch of feigned indignation. The vendor chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Apologies, fair geisha. I meant no disrespect. I simply assumed that a man of your refined taste would be accompanied by such a lovely companion," he said, handing them their skewers with a flourish.

Hiroshi took a bite, her eyes widening in delight. "This is incredible.

The flavor is so complex, yet somehow simple at the same time," Hiroshi said, her mouth still full.

Kaori took a bite of her own skewer, her eyes closing briefly in appreciation. "Mmm, this is delicious. The sweetness of the glaze, the smoky flavor from the grill... It's amazing how something so simple can taste so good."

The vendor beamed at their praise, his chest puffing out with pride. "I'm glad you both enjoy it. I've been perfecting my recipe for years. It's all about the balance of flavors, you see.

The sweet and the savory, the salty and the sour. It's like a dance, a symphony of tastes that come together to create something truly special," the vendor explained, his eyes shining with passion.

Hiroshi nodded, impressed by the man's dedication to his craft. "It's like a work of art, isn't it? The way you combine these different elements to create something so delicious," she said, taking another bite of her skewer.

Kaori looked up from her own skewer, her eyes thoughtful. "You know, there's something I've been wondering about.

If we can travel back to this time, can we also change something about it? Like, make a small difference that wouldn't have big consequences but would still be meaningful?" Hiroshi asked, her voice filled with curiosity.

Kaori looked thoughtful, her fingers tracing the intricate patterns on her fan. "I'm not sure, Hiroshi. I mean, we know that changing something in the past can have unforeseen consequences in the future. But what if we made a small, seemingly insignificant change? Would that have any impact?"

Hiroshi looked around, her gaze landing on a young girl sweeping the street in front of a small shop.

The girl looked tired, her shoulders rounded, and her clothes worn. Something about her struck a chord in Hiroshi, and she felt a sudden urge to help.

"What if we helped someone like her?" Hiroshi suggested, nodding towards the girl. "Something small, like giving her a few coins or helping her with her chores. It wouldn't change the course of history, but it might make a difference in her life."

Kaori followed Hiroshi's gaze, her expression softening as she took in the girl's appearance. "That's a wonderful idea, Hiroshi. I think we can do that.

Let's find out if she needs help," Kaori replied, her voice filled with warmth and compassion. They finished their skewers, thanking the vendor for his kindness, and made their way towards the young girl. As they approached, they noticed that she was struggling to sweep the street, her broom barely making a dent in the accumulated dirt and debris.

"Excuse me, young lady," Hiroshi said, crouching down to her level. "Is there anything we can help you with? You seem to be having a bit of trouble."

The girl looked up, her eyes wide with surprise and a hint of wariness.

She was no older than twelve, her dark hair tied back in a simple ponytail, and her clothes faded and patched. "I-I'm fine, sir. Just trying to finish my chores before my master gets home," she stammered, her gaze flicking between Hiroshi and Kaori.

Hiroshi offered her a warm smile, holding out her hands in a non-threatening gesture. "We don't mean any harm, little one. We just thought you could use a helping hand. What's your name?"

The girl hesitated for a moment before answering, "Yumi, sir. And...

I really don't need any help. My master will be angry if I let strangers do my work," Yumi said, her voice barely above a whisper, her eyes cast downwards.

Kaori stepped forward, her voice gentle yet firm. "Yumi, we understand your concern, but we promise we're not here to cause trouble. We just want to help. How about this - we'll help you finish your chores quickly, and in exchange, you can tell us more about life in Kyoto during this time.

Would that be fair?" Kaori suggested, her voice soft and reassuring.

Yumi looked up at Kaori, her eyes searching. After a moment, she nodded tentatively. "Alright, that sounds fair. But you must promise not to tell my master that I let you help me."

Hiroshi grinned, extending her hand to Yumi. "Deal. I'm Hiroshi, by the way, and this is Kaori. What do you say we get started?"

Yumi smiled back, taking Hiroshi's hand. "I'm Yumi. Thank you, Hiroshi and Kaori.

I could use some help with the heavy pots and pans in the kitchen," Yumi said, leading them inside the small shop. The interior was dimly lit, with a single lantern casting a warm glow over the worn wooden tables and chairs. The air was filled with the scent of soy sauce and miso, a testament to the shop's trade as a tofu maker.

Hiroshi and Kaori exchanged a glance, silently communicating their eagerness to help. They followed Yumi into the cramped kitchen, where stacks of heavy wooden crates and towering piles of firewood left little room to maneuver.

The girl began to explain the tasks at hand, her voice barely audible over the crackling of the open hearth. "I need to bring in more firewood, start the boiler for the tofu press, and clean the kitchen. Oh, and my master wants me to prepare the marinade for tomorrow's sales," she said, her small shoulders slumping under the weight of her responsibilities.

Hiroshi clapped her hands together, a determined look on her face. "Alright, Yumi. Kaori and I will start bringing in the firewood while you get the boiler going. After they helped Yumi they find a place to stay for tonight as night approaching

. They found a small, quaint inn nestled in a quiet corner of Kyoto. The building was traditional, with sliding paper doors and a wooden veranda that wrapped around the exterior. A soft lantern hung beside the entrance, casting a warm glow over the worn steps leading up to the door.

As we approached, a middle-aged woman emerged from within, wiping her hands on her apron. She greeted us with a polite bow and a warm smile. I'm the innkeeper, Obaa-chan.

You two must be weary from your travels. I have just the place for you," she said, her voice as warm and inviting as the lantern light. They buy a room for 2 then they got inside their room

The room was small but cozy, with a low table at its center and two thin futons rolled up against the wall. A sliding paper door led to a private bathing area, where a small wooden tub sat beneath a trickling faucet. Hiroshi and Kaori exchanged a satisfied glance, grateful for the sanctuary after their day of exploration and labor.

Kaori let out a soft sigh, sinking onto one of the futons. "This feels amazing, Hiroshi. I didn't realize how tired I was until now," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hiroshi nodded, sitting down beside her.

And said Kaori have you ever have sex as a men before ?" Kaori looked at Hiroshi, a hint of surprise in her eyes. "Well, that's a rather personal question, isn't it?" she teased, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

Hiroshi chuckled, running a hand through her short hair. "I guess it is. But since we're stuck in these bodies for the next day, I was just curious.

Do you ever miss it?" Kaori thought for a moment, her gaze fixed on the flickering lantern in the corner of the room. "To be honest, no.

Not really," Kaori replied, her voice thoughtful. "I mean, I've never been in a relationship in past timeline as a man, so I don't have any experiences to compare it to. But I have to admit, there's something liberating about not having to worry about those expectations, you know? I can just be myself, without any of the societal pressures that come with being a woman." Hiroshi nodded, understanding Kaori's sentiment all too well. "I know exactly what you mean. It's like I can finally let go of all the insecurities and fears that come with being a woman in today's society.

I can just be strong, confident, and unapologetic in this body," Hiroshi said, her voice filled with a newfound sense of freedom.

Kaori smiled, her eyes softening as she looked at Hiroshi. "You look really good as a man, you know. Like, really good," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hiroshi felt a warmth spread through her at Kaori's words, a mixture of pride and something else she couldn't quite put her finger on. "Thank you, Kaori.

Hiroshi ask do you wonder if we have sex now can I impregnate you, I mean this body is just gender change version of my female body .Kaori laughed, a light blush spreading across her cheeks. "Well, that's certainly a question I wasn't expecting. But to answer it, no, you can't impregnate me. While this body may look like a man's, it's still just a temporary vessel. It doesn't have the necessary... equipment to make that possible," she explained, her voice tinged with amusement. "Besides, even if it were physiologically possible, I'm not sure I'd want to risk it. I mean, what if we ended up stuck in this time period with a baby?

That'd be quite the predicament," Kaori teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Hiroshi chuckled, shaking her head. "I suppose you're right. That would be... complicated. But hey, at least we know we can't accidentally start a family while we're here," she said, her voice filled with relief.

Kaori's expression softened, and she reached out to squeeze Hiroshi's hand. "I'm glad we can joke about it, but I want you to know that I'm grateful for this experience, Hiroshi. I've never felt so free, so unrestricted in my own body.Beside I don't want to get pregnant even though I am completely Kaori now some of my past timeline male self that remains is terrified of getting pregnant as a man ," Hiroshi admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. Kaori's expression turned serious, her thumb tracing circles on the back of Hiroshi's hand. "I understand, Hiroshi. It's strange, isn't it? How our past experiences and fears can still linger, even when we're in a completely different body." Hiroshi nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "It is. But enough about that.
