Chapter 1: awakening in a new world
Chapter 1: A Journey into the World of Imagination
James Tanaka was a man of average stature and unassuming appearance, much like many others in the bustling city. However, beneath his unremarkable exterior lay a fervent passion that set him apart from the crowd. James was an ardent fan of all things animated and fantastical – anime, light novels, manga, comics, and movies were his constant companions in the realm of imagination. but then one day his life was about to take tragic unexpected and also miraculous turn for him. james was busy looking into his Smartphone checking out youtube videos and other stuff but didn't even notice that out of nowhere a car was driving really fast and was coming right at him.
before he can react everything suddenly went black and silent as his spirit floated in the void. until a single tiny blue star floated towards him and it burst into malignant light. soon everything faded as he regained consciousness, it was then he felt himself laying on his back in the grass and then suddenly he realizes that something was wrong. he wondered why that he was laying in the grass. he then immediately got up and looked around him and notices and finds himself in a field of tall grass.
"Huh, what the heck is going on?" James whispered to himself, his voice carried away by the gentle breeze that rustled the tall grass around him. He stood there, bewildered, as he surveyed his surroundings. The field stretched out before him, endless and enchanting, with blades of emerald swaying like waves under the golden caress of the sun. but then he suddenly noticed that he was still holding his smart-phone, so he decided to check if it still has Wi-Fi.
As James held his smartphone in his trembling hands, he desperately swiped across the screen, searching for any sign of a Wi-Fi connection. The device flickered to life, illuminating his face with its soft glow as he anxiously navigated through the settings. His heart pounded in his chest, matching the rhythm of his racing thoughts.
His eyes darted around the field, but there was no sign of civilization or any familiar landmarks that could provide a clue to his current location. until suddenly he realized that he was ether transported to another world or reincarnated, maybe even both. he looked at his smartphone again and saw there was a map of the world he was in now, which confirms it. he was reborn in a new world. but as he looked at the map on his smartphone he wondered if there are any nearby cities or villages "siri search for nearby populated areas?" he asked his smartphone.
As James anxiously awaited the response from his smartphone, he couldn't help but feel a tinge of excitement mixed with trepidation. The possibilities that lay before him in this new world were endless, yet the uncertainty of his current situation gnawed at his core. He clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white as he braced himself for the answer that would determine his next move. until finally he heard it spoke "civilized area's found, nearest city in the Central Continents is horizon which is 1 mile away." the smartphone said. the name horizon sounded familiar, so james decided to go there and check it out for himself.
it wasn't long until he arrived at the city, although it seemed to have suffered some kind of massive attack and is in the middle of rebuilding, yet he needed to know what happened. so he went up to one of the villagers and asked what happened "excuse me sir but what happened here?" james asked awaiting a response from the villager.
The air hung heavy with a palpable tension as James awaited the villager's response. His eyes, a vibrant shade of amber flecked with hints of curiosity and concern, were fixed intently on the face before him. Wrinkles etched deep lines into the weathered visage, telling tales of hardship and resilience. The villager, dressed in tattered clothing explains to james what happened "a demon attacked the village but a beast tamer named..." but before the villager can finish, there was commotion in the crowd. james turned his face and saw four figures walking off from whats left of the food and supplies stands and the people were angry at them for some reason.
however james eyes caught sight of a familiar face leading the three figures which triggered a memory of a character he read about in a light novel or manga in his past life... "arios orlando" james whispered to himself as he recognized the person, it was arios orlando the former hero. james finally realized that he was reborn in the world of the light novel called "Yuusha Party o Tsuihou Sareta Beast Tamer" but part of james needed to keep calm and try to process the events that is occurring right now. james then pondered to himself and started wondering "if i recall correctly this is the point in time arios and the hero's party got banished from horizon for not doing anything to help fight the demon or..." james whispered to himself again but his thoughts suddenly pauses at mid-stop as both his past life memories and memories that were not his flooded in until one name came to his head "rein shroud" james said to himself as he understood that he had to do something. so james ran up to the heroes party and spoke "excuse me but are you the heroes party?" james asked the group.
