Chapter 2: Building Tension
Omar asked Fatimah for the vault's code, but she refused. She was a strong woman, a bank manager, a mother. She wouldn't let these thugs break her. The others watched, their eyes gleaming with excitement and malice. But one of them, Hassan, stepped forward. He was taller, leaner than Omar, with a cruel smile that sent shivers down Fatima's spine.
“You’re making this difficult, Fatimah,” he said, his voice a low growl. “Maybe we need a different approach.” He reached out, his hands gripping her arms. She flinched, trying to pull away, but his grip was like steel.
"Let me go!" she snapped, her voice sharp.
"Not until you cooperate," Hassan replied, his fingers digging into her flesh. "Let me go!" she snapped, her voice sharp.
"Not until you cooperate," Hassan replied, his fingers digging into her flesh. "Now, tell me the vault code" Fatima glared at him, her eyes blazing with defiance and tell them the vault code.
Tell them anything! Her mind screamed, but her lips remained sealed. Omar's smile faded into a scowl. He shoved her back into her chair. "Fine, have it your way," he spat, his accent thickening with anger.
Hassan, the leaner one, stepped closer, his eyes raking over her body with a sick satisfaction. "Maybe we should make her... comfortable," he suggested, a cruel smile tugging at his lips.
Fatima's heart pounded, but she refused to show fear. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction. But the thought of what they might do...
anything. He looked at the other men, a silent agreement passing between them.
Hassan moved behind Fatima, his hands gripping her shoulders. She could feel his breath on her neck, hot and fetid. She tried to suppress a shudder.
