"Well, Mildred, we hear you now have two chicks returning to the roost." Angela said. Mildred blushed with shame. She had just established herself in the click of influential women. "Now Angela, is that so surprising in this day and age? Sid just broke up with his fiancé right after starting college, so the apartment they split rent for became way too expensive. And Destiny graduated with a computer science degree to find herself with jobs open. I have to let her back home." Betty simply patted Mildred's hand. "Don't worry dear. There are no judgements here. We're just happy for the fantasy fodder you're about to experience." Midred cocked her head in bewilderment. "Fantasy?"

Chapter 8: Forced Inheritance

The sound that tore from Destiny’s throat was raw, stripped of all irony or intellect. It was a purely physical cry, a surrender that seemed to shock her even as it ripped through her. Her back arched off the bed, a tight, trembling bow, her fingers clawing at the rumpled sheets. For a few seconds, the only sounds were her ragged, sobbing breaths and the faint rustle of Mildred’s silk robe as she shifted.

Mildred watched, her own breath held. The power was a live wire in her veins, humming, brighter and more terrifying than anything she’d felt with Sid. This was different. Deeper. This was unraveling a mind.

Destiny’s body went limp, collapsing back onto the mattress. A single tear traced a hot path from the corner of her eye into her hairline. Her chest rose and fell in shaky hiccups. “What… what was that?” she slurred, her voice thick and alien. “What did you do?”

“I helped you sleep, baby,” Mildred murmured, her voice a practiced balm. Her hand, the one that had just orchestrated the violation, now stroked Destiny’s damp hair with a grotesque parody of tenderness. “You were so tense. You just needed to… release.”

She made a move to stand, to let the silence and the drug’s aftermath do their work, but her robe belt caught on the corner of the nightstand. The small, wooden drawer jerked open with a sharp scrape.

Destiny flinched at the noise but was too far gone to focus. Her eyes were already drifting shut.

Mildred reached down to free the silk, her movement stilling as she looked into the drawer. It wasn’t just pens and old receipts. Nestled inside, coiled neatly like a collection of exotic snakes, were vibrators. Not one. Several. A sleek, black silicone wand, its powerful bulb promising deep, thrumming satisfaction. A slender, elegant piece in rose gold, designed for precise, teasing contact. A bizarre, twisting thing of blue glass that looked like an abstract sculpture. And a simple, unassuming bullet, small enough to be hidden in a fist.

Mildred’s breath hitched. This was her daughter’s secret landscape, a curated arsenal of pleasure she’d never have imagined. The intelligent, sarcastic computer scientist had this hidden, vibrant sensuality. It felt like discovering a second, secret daughter living inside the first.

A new, more intricate kind of curiosity ignited within her.

“So many helpers,” she whispered, more to herself than to the semi-conscious girl on the bed.

Destiny’s eyes fluttered open at the sound. She tried to focus on the open drawer, a dawning horror cutting through the chemical fog. “No… close that,” she mumbled, her hand feebly waving toward the nightstand.

“Shhh,” Mildred soothed, picking up the rose gold vibrator. It was cool and surprisingly heavy in her hand. She pressed the single, discreet button on its base. It came to life with a nearly silent, high-frequency hum, a persistent buzz that felt like a secret in the palm of her hand. “Such a beautiful thing. Do you use this one often?”

“Mom, stop.” The protest was weak, diluted by the drug and the lingering echoes of her forced climax. Her body was still humming, oversensitive, every nerve ending raw and exposed.

Mildred ignored her. She trailed the humming tip of the toy along Destiny’s arm, from her wrist to the inside of her elbow. Destiny jerked, a fresh shudder wracking her frame. It wasn’t entirely aversion. The line had been so thoroughly erased that her body no longer knew how to categorizesensation. Pain, pleasure, violation, care—it was all just overwhelming input.

“See?” Mildred murmured, her voice hypnotic. “Your body is still so awake. It’s still talking.” She moved the vibrator, tracing the line of Destiny’s collarbone, then down, over the damp cotton of her t-shirt, circling a nipple that hardened instantly under the dual assault of the vibration and the terrifying intimacy.

Destiny let out a choked gasp, her head thrashing side to side on the pillow. “Please…”

“Please, what?” Mildred asked, her tone genuinely inquisitive, as if they were discussing a new recipe. She switched the toy to a different, slower pattern. A gentle pulse. “Does this feel better?”

She didn’t wait for an answer. She guided the pulsating rose gold tip down Destiny’s stomach, over the waistband of her shorts, and back to the slick, heated core she had already conquered. She pressed it against her, not inside, just a steady, insistent pressure against the most sensitive part of her.

Destiny’s back arched again, a broken, rhythmic sound escaping her lips. Her hands, which had been clutching the sheets, now fumbled, grasping at nothing. Her hips began to move in tiny, involuntary circles against the vibrator, her body betraying her once more, seeking the finish line it now knew was possible.

Mildred watched, fascinated. This was guidance. This was teaching her daughter’s body a new, terrible vocabulary where her touch was the only language that mattered. She adjusted the speed again, switching it back to the relentless high buzz.

The change tipped Destiny over the edge. This climax was different from the first—less of a shocking eruption and more of a devastating, total collapse. Her body seized, then went completely limp, a long, trembling sigh leaking from her lips. The fight was gone. Utterly.

Mildred held the vibrator in place until the last aftershock faded. Then, she clicked it off. The sudden silence in the room was deafening.

She looked from the sophisticated toy in her hand to her daughter’s spent, unconscious form. Then she looked at the others in the drawer. The wand. The glass sculpture. Each one a new key to a different lock inside Destiny.

She placed the rose gold vibrator back in the drawer, but her fingers closed around the small, simple bullet. She slipped it into the pocket of her robe. A souvenir. A promise.

She closed the drawer softly and stood, looking down at the ruins of her daughter. The fairy lights twinkled merrily, casting a cheerful glow on the scene. Mildred smoothed her robe, the silk cool against her suddenly feverish skin. She had come in here to check on her sick daughter. She was leaving having mapped the very source of her pleasure.

She turned off the main light, leaving Destiny bathed only in the soft, multicolored glow from the bed. As she pulled the door closed, she took one last look. Destiny’s chest rose and fell in the deep, regular rhythm of drugged sleep.

Mildred stepped out into the hallway, the small, hard shape of the bullet vibrator a secret weight in her pocket. The house was silent. Sid was behind his door. Destiny was behind hers. Both now belonged to her in ways they could never comprehend.

She walked toward the stairs, her bare feet silent on the plush carpet. The night wasn't over. It felt, instead, like a whole new world had just begun.
