Chapter 1: Chapter 1
It's been 3 years since Selene told her family, friends, and girlfriend (Clover) about her ability to transform into a frog. Although Selene likes to swim in pond water and eat flies, her loved ones love her regardless. Selene was happy.
However, Selene felt like she didn't belong. Day by day, she felt more frog-like than humans. One day, she met an Owl who told her about a magical forest they call The Forest Of Secrets. The forest was filled with animals that were just like Selene. There were rabbits, foxes, deers, and even fish that were all once human.
"Come with me, and I will show you." The Owl said. "You will be safe here. No one can hurt you here."
"But what about my family? What about my friends?" Selene asked anxiously. "Will they be safe in the forest?" The owl chuckled. "No human could ever come to these forests."
Selene felt saddened as she returned home. She couldn't help but feel drawn to the forest, but she also didn't want to leave her loved ones.
The next day, Selene asked her girlfriend Clover about the forest of secrets, which only led to an argument between the two.
The next day, Selene decided not to ask about the forest anymore, for fear of what might happen if she did. "I have to go there, I have to see if I can live there without my family knowing. It might be hard, but I have to try." That was the thought that ran through her mind every day.
Selene wanted to go back in the forest, but Clover wanted to stop her. Selene just wanted to find what she's missing, but Clover was scared for their relationship. She didn't want Selene to go alone, and she didn't want to lose her either.
Selene and Clover had been dating for 2 years, and their relationship had been going strong. But now, as they argued, it was clear that tensions were high.
Selene, who just wanted to find a place where she belonged, be free and didn't have to hide who she was, wanted to go into the forest and live there, despite knowing humans are not welcomed.
Clover, however, was not as enthusiastic about the idea. She was scared that something might happen to their relationship. "What about us?!" She argued.
Selene, however, was determined to go, and the two began to argue. Clover yelled that she didn't want Selene to go, while Selene shouted that she wanted to experience the wonders of the forest.
The argument seemed to have no end, and neither of them was willing to give in. Finally, Selene decided that she was going to go, regardless of what Clover said.
Clover was heartbroken as she watched Selene transform into a frog and disappear into the night. She knew that she had lost Selene and that she wouldn't be able to protect her from the dangers of the forest of secrets. Chapter 2
"Come with me." The Owl said again. Selene followed the owl. "My name is Aurora, and I will guide you, if you have any questions or worries, let me know." The owl said. Selene wondered where she would be staying, so Aurora the owl took her to the frog pond."Do you live here?" Selene asked. "In the forest?"
"I am the guardian of this forest, and all the animals that live here. You are the first human to visit this place in 3 years. What brings you here?" Aurora asked.
