There was a small desk with two chairs and a filing cabinet against the wall. A worn leather couch was pushed against the back wall and a wood stove was the only source of heat in the room. It was cold in the winter and hot in the summer, but never frigid or scorching.It was always just right.

The professor himself was a dashing figure in his mid-thirties with dark hair and a moustache so large it could give Colonel Mustard a run for his money. He looked like he could blow away in a heavy breeze and that was the way he liked it. His suits were always impeccable and he wore them well. Even his shoes were shiny and well cared for."Hello there," he said in a deep voice that rumbled in her chest. "I hope you don't mind but I've invited myself in.” Mild humor was in sight, being that it was his class and all. "I heard you play your music pretty loud. Is that what you do in your free time, listen to Mozart and Beethoven while drinking Margaritas?” That bit killed the humor for Katia, however.
