"So, this is the ship?" Cesar said, his eyes wide as saucers. He stood at the foot of the stairs, gazing up at the mammoth vessel before him. It was hard to tell if he was impressed or terrified. The gangly limbs of the palm trees swayed ominously in the gusts, adding to the ship's aura of unreality.The sun-drenched deck was littered with plastic cups and half-empty bottles of liquor, all strewn haphazardly like confetti. I don't know, man," Brady said, squinting up at the sky through the trees. "It looks like a bunch of twigs and branches put together. Who would have thought a ship could look so cheap?I mean, look at all the other ships in the world. This is the first ship, isn't it? The first ship that was built for this purpose, I mean."
Aidan rolled his eyes so hard, they nearly left his head and scored a strike in the cup next to him. "You know, there are people who would pay good money for that kind of scenery.
