Cesar gave a wry smile. "Yeah, well, I'm one of those people. So, shut up and enjoy the view, would you?" he said, gesturing grandiloquently towards the azalea-tiled roof of the deck. "And stop complaining about the food.It's better than anything back home."
Brady nodded. "I'm not complaining. I'm just saying that if we wanted real food, we should have stayed in port. That place down the hall has better food than this, anyway." He stopped, mid-sentence, and stared intently at the swaying fronds of the palm trees."Oh, yeah, I forgot. You're still stuck on that whole 'poor' thing. Poor is a state of mind, not a physical thing. Get over it, dude. Life is good. Really good, as long as you have friends and family who love you and a roof over your head.As long as you're not starving or freezing or sick or in any way disadvantaged, life is good. Just relax and enjoy the moment. Stop worrying about what other people think and just be yourself. That way, you won't have to pretend to be someone else to please other people and you won’t have to worry about being judged for being yourself.
