Chapter 28: The Final Edit
The city glittered thirty floors below, a silent panorama of cold light, but inside the penthouse editing suite, the only world that existed was eighteen inches wide, glowing on the calibrated monitor. The footage was raw, time-coded, brutally explicit.
Suki sat cross-legged in a massive leather chair, her fist pressed against her mouth. On screen, in stunning 4K, Aidan’s hands gripped Sloane’s hips, his knuckles white against her skin. The audio captured every wet sound, every hitched breath.
“Jesus,” Suki whispered, the word swallowed by the ambient synth flowing from the speakers.
Catriona leaned forward from her chair beside her, cradling a cup of espresso. “Thea knows her angles,” she said, her tone analytical, proud. “Look at the lighting on his back. It’s like a Caravaggio.”
They watched the switch, the functional shuffle of bodies, Thea’s calculated takeover. When the final, climactic moments played out—Thea’s commanding voice, Aidan’s strained groan, the subsequent, held shot of the aftermath—Catriona tapped the space bar, pausing the image. It froze on a close-up, a glistening trail on skin, stark against the rumpled white sheets from the villa.
“It’s good,” Suki said, her voice tight. “It’s really good. It’s just…”
“It’s clinical,” Catriona finished for her, sipping her coffee. “It’s two professionals and our gorgeous, dutiful husband. It’s missing the heartbeat.” She swiveled her chair to face Suki, her eyes bright with an idea. “We need context. We need story. The subscribers don’t just want to see a dude fuck two models. They can get that anywhere. They want to know why.”
Suki pulled her gaze from the frozen, indecent image. “What kind of story?”
“Your story.” Catriona set her cup down with a soft click. “A voiceover. You, talking to the camera, or just in voice, while this plays. Talking about what it’s like to watch this. To send your man, your best friend’s man, to do this. To see him used so perfectly.”
Suki’s stomach turned over, a sensation that was not entirely unpleasant. “That’s… kind of dark, Cat.”
“It’s honest!” Catriona’s smile was infectious, mischievous. “It’s the secret sauce. It’s you, Suki. The girl who gets sick at the thought of a stranger, watching the one guy you actually trust get absolutely wrecked for your benefit. That’s intimate. That’s filthy in a whole new way.”
She navigated to a blank audio track. “Let’s write a few lines. Just off the cuff. We’ll record it right now, while it’s fresh. The raw edge will be perfect.”
For twenty minutes, they batted phrases back and forth, Catriona typing, Suki vetoing, her face growing hotter with each iteration. They settled on something simple, a confession rather than a script.
Catriona fitted Suki with the broadcast-quality headset, adjusted the mic. “Just talk to me. Look at the screen and talk to me.”
She hit play on the video, now muted, and then record on the audio track.
On screen, Aidan thrust up into Sloane. Suki watched, her green eyes wide, reflected in the dark glass of the monitor.
“Okay,” she began, her voice a trembling rush in the headphones. “So… that’s him. That’s Aidan.” She swallowed. “My best friend’s husband. The guy who fixes my garbage disposal and remembers I like jalapeños on my pizza.”
Her hand, resting on her thigh, clenched. On screen, Sloane came, her body seizing.
“I sent him there,” Suki whispered, the mic catching every breath. “I asked for this. I’m watching him… give that to someone else. Because I need it. For my job.” A shaky laugh escaped her. “It sounds so fucking crazy when I say it out loud.”
Her other hand drifted from the armrest, slipped under the waistband of her soft shorts. She didn’t look away from the monitor as Thea took over, the pace becoming ruthless.
“And part of me hates it,” Suki breathed, her voice dropping, growing thicker. Her fingers moved, a subtle, urgent rhythm under the fabric. “Part of me wants to call him right now and tell him to come home. But a bigger part… a bigger part is right here. Watching. Seeing how he looks at the camera for me. Seeing how he… obeys.”
On the video, Aidan’s release peaked, his body arching, a vein standing out in his neck. Suki’s own breath hitched, synchronizing with the silent image. Her knuckles were white where her hand worked beneath her shorts.
“He’s so good for me,” she moaned, the words blurring, losing their performative edge, becoming pure, unfiltered reaction. “He’s so good at this. Look at him. That’s for us. That’s all… for us.”
She fell silent, her head tilting back against the headrest, eyes squeezed shut as the video played out its final, dripping proof. A small, desperate sound left her lips, her hips lifting once, twice, against her own hand. Then she went still, a long, shuddering exhale washing into the microphone.
Catriona, watching her friend’s face, slowly reached out and stopped the recording.
The suite was quiet save for the hum of the computers. Suki opened her eyes, pulling her hand free, wiping her fingers on her shorts. She felt stripped bare, more than any solo shoot had ever left her.
“Well,” Catriona said softly, a grin spreading across her face. “That’s the heartbeat.”
Suki just nodded, unable to speak.
Catriona got to work, her fingers a blur on the keyboard. She synced the raw, trembling audio track with the high-definition video. She adjusted levels, faded the music underneath Suki’s voice. She cut between the most brutal, explicit shots and close-ups of Aidan’s face—his concentration, his pleasure, his submission to the lens.
What unfolded on the master monitor was something entirely new. It was no longer just a professional porn shoot. It was a window into a specific, complicated yearning. Suki’s whispered jealousy and awe wrapped around the visuals, transforming them into something voyeuristic and deeply personal.
Catriona leaned back, spinning once in her chair. “It’s a masterpiece of intimacy and exploitation, baby. Just like we wanted.” She highlighted the final file. “Ready for release. Midnight upload?”
Suki stared at the finished product, her own confession now an inseparable part of the artifact. Her body still hummed with the aftershocks of watching, of speaking, of touching herself to the idea of him. The pending upload felt less like a business strategy and more like a point of no return.
“Yeah,” Suki said, her voice hoarse. She reached for her phone, its screen dark. “Midnight.”
