Chapter 30: The Final Day Begins
The first thing Aidan registered was the weight. A pleasant, warm pressure along his left side, and a lighter, more delicate one draped across his chest. Then the light—a diffuse, honeyed gold seeping through the sheer curtains, painting the rumpled sheets in soft contrast. He blinked, the sleep receding slowly.
Thea’s curly hair tickled his chin. She was nestled against his shoulder, one arm flung possessively over his stomach. On his other side, Sloane lay facing away, the sharp line of her spine a curve against his ribcage. The room smelled of lingering lavender from the guttered candles and, faintly, of them—sweat and skin and sex.
He was still inside the dreamy, saturated aftermath of the previous night when Thea’s voice, whisper-rough with sleep, cut through it.
“Camera’s charged. Lights are good. This dawn light is fucking perfect.”
Aidan turned his head. Her eyes were already open, clear and focused. Not sleepy at all. She’d been awake, waiting.
Sloane stirred, stretching like a cat. She rolled over, her breasts pressing against his arm. “Morning routine,” she said, her voice still thick. “But we’re flipping the script. No gentle warm-up.”
Thea shifted, propping herself up on an elbow. Her fingers traced a idle pattern through the hair on his chest. “You remember the conversation from last night. About limits. About the most intimate thing the camera can see.”
He did. A late-night discussion over the dregs of wine, technical and strangely philosophical. Thea had talked about vulnerability as a product. Sloane had mentioned the audience’s craving for a specific kind of conquest.
“Today’s about access,” Thea said softly. Her hand drifted lower, under the sheet, finding him already half-hard from the morning and their proximity. She smiled. “Good. That makes it easier. No performance anxiety.”
“What’s the scene?” Aidan asked, his voice gravelly. He was awake now, a coil of anticipation tightening low in his belly.
Sloane answered by moving. She swung a leg over his hips, straddling him, the sheet falling away. The dawn light caught the elegant lines of her torso, the swell of her breasts. She reached for the lube on the nightstand, the sound of the cap snapping open abnormally loud in the quiet room.
“The scene is taking what fits,” she said, squeezing a generous amount into her palm. “And making it fit somewhere even tighter. Turn by turn.”
Thea was already out of bed, a sleek silhouette against the window. She grabbed the camera from its tripod, checked the settings, and gave a thumbs-up. The soft red recording light glowed like a single, watchful eye.
Aidan’s breath hitched as Sloane’s slick hand found him, stroking him to a full, aching hardness. Her touch was clinical, purposeful. She positioned herself, knees planted on either side of his thighs, her back arched. She didn’t look at his face; she looked past him, at Thea’s lens.
“Go slow,” Thea directed from behind the camera, her voice a calm, disembodied command. “I want to see every millimeter of the stretch. Let the struggle show.”
Sloane lowered herself. The initial pressure was immense, a blazing, impossible tightness. Aidan gritted his teeth, a sharp gasp escaping him. Sloane’s face contorted, a beautiful mask of strain, her lips parting in a silent ‘o’. She bore down, trembling with the effort, her inner muscles clamping vise-tight around the intrusion.
“Jesus,” Aidan breathed, his hands flying to her hips, not to guide but to ground himself.
“Good,” Thea murmured, the camera whirring softly as it zoomed. “That’s perfect. Look at that. Look at how she has to work for it.”
It was a battle, inch by agonizing inch. Sloane’s body resisted, then reluctantly yielded, a breathtaking, obscene surrender captured in high definition. When she was finally fully seated, they both froze, panting. A fine sheen of sweat glossed her chest. The stretch was visible, a stunning, intimate violation that made Aidan’s head swim.
Then she moved. A slow, tentative rock of her hips. The friction was incendiary, a rough silk drag that pulled a ragged moan from him. Her rhythm found itself, growing more confident, each descent a little deeper, a little less strained. Her breaths became hitched little sighs, her eyes glazing over, fixed on some middle distance between Aidan and the camera. He watched her fall apart, felt her internal flutters intensify into rhythmic clenches, until with a sharp cry she shuddered and collapsed forward, her forehead dropping to his chest.
They stayed like that for a moment, her weight pressing him into the mattress, both of them breathing hard. Thea kept filming, capturing the minute tremors in Sloane’s back, the way Aidan’s hands softened on her skin.
Then Sloane, with a wet, soft sound, lifted herself off him. She rolled to the side, spent and gleaming. “Your turn,” she whispered to Thea, a ghost of a smile on her face.
Thea didn’t hesitate. She set the camera back on the tripod, adjusting the angle to a lower, more invasive vantage point. She climbed onto the bed, her movements economical. She grabbed the lube, coating him thoroughly where he lay, the cool slickness a shock. Then she turned, presenting herself on hands and knees, her back elegantly arched, her body a flawless offering.
“Don’t be gentle,” she said, glancing over her shoulder. Her green eyes were dark, challenging. “The audience needs to believe it’s almost too much.”
Aidan moved behind her. He positioned himself, the broad head pressing against that tiny, furled entrance. He pushed, meeting immediate, fierce resistance. He leaned his weight into it, a slow, relentless pressure.
Thea’s knuckles turned white where she gripped the sheets. A low, guttural sound crawled up her throat. “Fuck,” she hissed. “Yeah. Like that. You’re splitting me open, I can feel it.”
He sank deeper, consumed by the tight, scalding heat, by the raw, visual truth of it. The camera saw everything: the gradual, undeniable disappearance of his length, the tense line of Thea’s spine, the desperate clench of her jaw. When he was fully sheathed, they both stopped, suspended in the unbearable fullness.
Then he moved. Deep, deliberate, grinding strokes, each one a conquest measured in her choked gasps and the slick, obscene sounds of contact. He lost himself in the rhythm, in the physical poetry of it, in the knowledge that the lens was capturing the most private part of her taking all of him. Her moans became a continuous, shaky stream, pleading and praising in equal measure.
He felt the climax build, a tidal wave at the base of his spine. “Thea,” he warned, his voice strained.
“Not inside,” she panted, the professional cutting through the delirium. “On me. Let them see it.”
He pulled out at the last possible second. The release was explosive, thick stripes landing across the small of her back, painting stark white against her dark skin. The camera held steady, zooming in as a single, heavy droplet trailed through the valley of her spine.
Silence fell, broken only by their ragged breathing. Thea slowly lowered herself to her forearms, her head hanging. Aidan sat back on his heels, spent, watching the evidence of his pleasure gleam in the morning light.
Thea finally looked back at the camera, a weary, triumphant smile on her face. She reached back and swiped a finger through the mess on her skin, bringing it to her mouth. “Cut,” she said, the word simple and final.
The red light on the camera winked out.
Later, after showers and coffee, Aidan scrolled through the raw clips on Thea’s monitor. The footage was brutal in its intimacy, more visceral than the actual experience. He thought of Catriona, of how she’d watch this, her eyes alight with that mischievous pride. He thought of Suki, and her quiet, haunting voiceover from the final edit—a layer of meaning he was only now beginning to fully understand.
This wasn’t just content. It was a door swinging open. And he was already on the other side.
