Chapter 16: The Dinner Party Arrival
The doorbell rang.
The sound was a guillotine drop in the silent foyer. Norman flinched. The cold marble under his bare feet seemed to leach the warmth directly from his bones. He stood frozen, five feet from the heavy oak door, wearing a stark white half-apron that covered precisely nothing below his waist. The small, polished steel cage he wore felt less like an object and more like a crystallized embodiment of his dread, a cold, foreign tumor. His hands trembled at his sides.
From the great room, he heard the low murmur of Jennifer’s voice, then her light, easy laugh. A glass clinked. “Norman, darling,” she called, the words sailing across the open space, sweet as poison. “Our guests are here.”
He could smell her perfume from here, mixed with the tannic scent of the red wine she’d been nursing. He took a shaky breath, the air catching in his throat. He could not move. The polished brass of the door handle glared at him, a challenge.
The doorbell rang again, impatient, followed by three sharp raps.
He shuffled forward, the movement awkward with shame. He focused on the intricate grain of the wood, on the cold metal of the handle as his hand closed around it. He pulled the door open.
Silence. A beat of pure, suspended reality.
Then, a burst of laughter—bright, unguarded, and utterly corrosive. Sarah stood there, one hand flying to her mouth, her eyes wide with a delighted shock that immediately dissolved into hysterical mirth. She was dressed in a simple, elegant black dress that clung to her, a stark contrast to his absurdist nudity. Her lawyer’s composure was utterly obliterated.
“Oh my god,” she gasped between peals of laughter, leaning against the doorframe for support. “Jennifer… you… you weren’t kidding. Oh, Norman. Holy shit.”
Beside her, Max loomed. He was smiling, a slow, spreading smirk of pure satisfaction. He didn’t laugh. He just looked, his eyes traveling from Norman’s burning face down his torso, lingering with appraising ease on the apron strings tied around his waist and the glint of steel below. He gave a low, appreciative hum.
“Nice apron,” Max said, his voice a rough rumble. “Classy.”
Norman’s vision tunneled. The marble of the foyer, the glittering chandelier, Sarah’s shaking shoulders—it all blurred into a nauseating watercolor of humiliation. He could only stand there, a living exhibit, his skin prickling with a fever of shame.
“Don’t just stand there like a statue, sweetheart.” Jennifer’s voice cut through Sarah’s laughter. She was lounging on the cream-colored sofa in the great room, one arm draped along the back, a glass of wine in her other hand. She hadn’t moved. She was watching from her throne. “Let them in. Get them drinks.”
The command broke his paralysis. He stumbled back, holding the door open wider, unable to meet anyone’s eyes. He stared at a point on the floor near Sarah’s stylish heels as they clicked past him.
“This is unreal,” Sarah was saying, her laughter subsiding into breathless giggles. She swept into the penthouse as if she owned it, which, in this moment, she metaphorically did. She walked over to Jennifer, leaned down, and kissed her on the cheek. “You devil. You absolute devil.”
Max followed, his presence seeming to fill the expansive room. He nodded to Jennifer, a familiar, comfortable acknowledgment, then his gaze swept back to Norman, who was still hovering by the door, useless. “Whiskey. Neat. Whatever’s expensive.” He didn’t say please.
“Sarah?” Jennifer prompted, taking a slow sip.
“Pinot Grigio, if you have it, Norm,” Sarah said, still looking at Jennifer with awe. She perched on the arm of the sofa. “Thanks.”
Norman turned and shuffled toward the wet bar, his back to them. He felt their eyes on him like physical weights. The journey across the open floor was an endless parade. He was hyper-aware of the way his thighs moved, the pathetic jiggle of his ass, the complete exposure. He focused on the polished walnut of the bar, on the crystal decanters. His hands shook violently as he lifted the heavy whiskey decanter. The clink of glass against glass was absurdly loud.
“So,” he heard Sarah say, her voice dropping into a conspiratorial zone. “You gave me the broad strokes, but I want details. Last time… when he serviced Max. What was it like?”
Norman froze, the whiskey bottle hovering over the glass.
“It was… illuminating,” Jennifer said, her voice a purr. “You could see the conflict. The terror. The genuine physical revulsion. And then… the submission. It’s not pretend with him. It’s a real breaking point. You can taste it in the air.”
“The tears were a nice touch,” Max added, his voice closer than Norman expected. He’d moved to stand near the bar. Norman could smell his cologne, something woodsy and unforgiving.
“He couldn’t help it,” Jennifer said, and Norman could hear the shrug in her voice. “It’s who he is.”
Norman poured the whiskey, a little sloshing over the side onto his trembling fingers. He set the decanter down, the sound a dull thud, and reached for the wine fridge. The cold air brushed his naked skin.
“He’s taking his time,” Max murmured, just for Norman to hear. He was leaning on the bar, watching Norman’s clumsy movements with detached amusement. “Nervous.”
Norman said nothing. He found the bottle, fumbled with the opener. His entire consciousness had narrowed to this task: open the wine, pour the wine, do not drop the bottle.
“Bring them over, Norman,” Jennifer called, her tone leaving no room for delay.
He turned, a glass of whiskey in one hand, a glass of wine in the other. He kept his eyes lowered, a servant in his own home. He approached the sofa. Sarah watched him come, her earlier mirth softened into something more intense, more hungry. Her eyes were dark, absorbing every twitch, every faltering step.
He held the whiskey out to Max, who took it without a word, his fingers brushing Norman’s. The contact was electric and repulsive.
He turned to Sarah. She took the wine, her gaze locked on his face. “Thank you,” she said, her voice strangely gentle, which was worse than her laughter. It was pity laced with fascination.
“Now, come here,” Jennifer said. She patted the space on the sofa directly in front of her. “Sit. On the floor.”
Norman obeyed, lowering himself stiffly onto the thick Persian rug at Jennifer’s feet. He drew his knees up slightly, a feeble, instinctive attempt at modesty. From this angle, he could see the sleek lines of the sofa, the three of them above him like a tribunal. Jennifer’s bare foot came into his peripheral vision, pale and perfect.
Sarah took a long drink of her wine, her eyes never leaving Norman’s hunched form. “It’s different seeing it live,” she mused, almost to herself. “The porn… it’s so performative. This is…this is real anxiety. I can see his heartbeat in his throat.”
“It’s the reality that makes it worthwhile,” Jennifer said. She reached down with her free hand and ran her fingers through Norman’s hair, a possessive, petting gesture. He flinched. “Isn’t that right, darling? The reality of it?”
He couldn’t speak. He nodded, his chin nearly touching his chest.
“Look at me, Norman,” Jennifer said, her voice hardening.
He forced his head up. Her face was composed, but her eyes were alive with a bright, predatory fire. She was turned on. Deeply. He could see it in the flush on her neck, in the slight part of her lips.
“Good boy,” she whispered.
Then, holding his gaze, she deliberately set her wine glass on the side table. With slow, theatrical movements, she began to unbutton her silk blouse. One button. Two. Three. The fabric fell open, revealing the lace edge of her black bra. She didn’t look away from him.
A strangled sound came from Sarah. Not laughter this time. A sharp intake of breath.
Jennifer shrugged the blouse off her shoulders, letting it pool behind her on the sofa. She leaned back, a queen on display. “Max,” she said, her voice husky now. “Come here. Your hands are warm.”
Max set his whiskey down with a definitive click. He moved around the coffee table and sat beside Jennifer. He didn’t look at Norman at all. His large, capable hands went to Jennifer’s shoulders, then slid down, tracing the lines of her arms as she arched her back slightly.
Norman watched, a trapped animal. Sarah watched Norman watching. Her wine was forgotten in her hand.
Jennifer reached up and hooked a finger in Max’s collar, pulling his mouth to hers. The kiss was deep, consuming, a performance with a single, riveted audience member on the floor. A small, choked sob escaped Norman. He couldn’t contain it.
The sound seemed to ignite Sarah. She set her glass down with a quick, decisive motion. She shifted off the arm of the sofa and knelt on the rug in front of Norman, her face now level with his. Up close, he could see the flecks of gold in her brown eyes, the faint trace of lipstick on her teeth. Her expression was one of profound, unsettling curiosity.
“Look at them,” she instructed him, her voice low and urgent. She didn’t touch him. She just held his gaze, forcing him to keep his eyes open, to witness. “That’s your wife. She doesn’t want you. She wants that. She needs that. And you…” she leaned in closer, her whisper a hot brand against his ear. “You get to be the pet who watches. That’s your job now. That’s your entire purpose.”
Behind her, Jennifer moaned, a soft, genuine sound as Max’s mouth traveled down her neck. His hands were on her breasts, his fingers skilled and knowing.
Tears blurred Norman’s vision. They spilled over, hot and silent, tracing clean lines down his cheeks. He didn’t try to stop them.
Sarah watched them fall. A smile touched her lips, not of mockery, but of deep, satiated understanding. She finally reached out. Not to wipe his tears, but to trace the path of one with a single, cool fingertip. She brought her wet finger to her own mouth and touched it to her tongue, her eyes closing for a brief second in a kind of sacrament.
“Yeah,” she breathed, her eyes opening, locking onto his with terrifying intimacy. “Jennifer was right. You can taste it.”
Sarah’s whisper still hung in the air, a palpable heat against his ear. The taste of his own humiliation, she claimed, was on her tongue. Norman’s entire world had collapsed into the fibers of the rug beneath his knees, the shudder of his own breath, and the soft, wet sounds of his wife’s pleasure from the sofa above.
Jennifer broke the kiss with Max, her lips gleaming. Her eyes, heavy-lidded and dark, found Norman’s tear-streaked face. That predatory fire had not banked; it had intensified into something directive and cool.
“Nod if you understand your job right now,” she said, her voice not loud but impossibly clear. It cut through the thick, perfumed air.
He nodded, a jerky, mechanical motion. Understanding was a flood of icy comprehension in his gut. He knew what she wanted. He’d seen it in the secret histories on his browser, the fantasy now a script he was meant to perform live.
“Good.” She shifted, pushing Max gently back by his broad chest. “Get on your knees properly. Both of you.”
Max obliged, sliding off the sofa to kneel on the rug facing Norman, his expression one of amused expectation. The two men knelt barely a foot apart, a grotesque mirror: one powerful, clothed, erect with anticipation; the other naked, caged, and crumbling.
Sarah scuttled back on her knees, giving them space, her face alight with a scholar’s rapt attention. She tucked her legs beneath her, poised.
Jennifer remained on the sofa, a conductor. She reached out and deftly unbuckled Max’s belt, the metallic slide deafening. She unzipped his jeans. “Go ahead, Norman,” she instructed, her tone casual, as if asking him to pass the salt. “Fluff him for me. Get him ready. Use your mouth.”
The final four words dropped into the room, absolute and unarguable. Norman’s mind recoiled. His body trembled violently. He stared at the exposed waistband of Max’s boxer briefs, a dark grey cotton.
A low, pained sound escaped him.
“Now,” Jennifer said, the word flat and final.
Norman’s arms felt like dead weights. He lifted them, his fingers fumbling as they hooked into the elastic. He hesitated, the smell of clean cotton and masculine sweat filling his nostrils.
“His tears make my pussy so wet,” Jennifer commented idly to Sarah, leaning forward to watch. “Look at his hands shake.”
“It’s insane,” Sarah breathed back, her gaze fixed on Norman’s trembling fingers. “The total physical rebellion. But he’s still doing it.”
He pulled the waistband down. Max’s cock, already thick and half-hard, sprang free. Norman flinched, a full-body spasm. It was imposing, a reality far more daunting than any shadowed glimpse or pixelated image.
“Jesus, Jennifer,” Sarah murmured, her professional detachment dissolving into pure carnal awe. “Look at the size of that thing. That’s… wow.”
“I know,” Jennifer said, a smile in her voice. “It’s perfect. Substantial. Aren’t you going to kiss it hello, Norman? Be polite.”
Norman closed his eyes. He couldn’t. The shame was a solid wall.
“Open your eyes,” Jennifer commanded, her voice sharpening. “Look at what you’re doing. Look at what you are.”
He forced his eyelids open. The rigid flesh filled his vision. He leaned forward, an automaton powered by degrading inertia. He pressed his dry, closed lips to the head in a shuddering, childish peck.
Max let out a soft chuckle, a deep rumble in his chest. “Come on, man. That’s not fluffing. Use your tongue. Get it wet for her.”
“You heard him,” Jennifer said. “Wet it.”
Norman’s tongue darted out, a pathetic pink flick against the skin. It tasted of salt and clean skin, a terrifying intimacy. He did it again, licking lamely.
“Pathetic,” Sarah observed, but there was no malice, just clinical fascination. “It’s like he’s never done this before.”
“He hasn’t,” Jennifer replied. “Not for real. This is his first time. His real debut. Go deeper, Norman. Take it in your mouth. I want to see you try.”
Norman’s jaw ached with tension. He opened his mouth, letting the tip push past his lips. The reality of the warm, living flesh on his tongue, the subtle pulse, triggered a violent gag reflex deep in his throat. He choked, pulling back, spittle connecting his mouth to Max’s cock in a thin, shining strand.
“He’s gagging already!” Sarah laughed, the sound bright and shocking. “He can’t even handle the tip. How does he expect to deep-throat that monster?”
“He doesn’t expect to,” Jennifer purred. “That’s the point. He expects to fail. He wants to fail. It’s his little theater of inadequacy. Try again, Norm. Really commit.”
Tears streamed freely down Norman’s face now, mixing with the saliva on his chin. A shuddering sob wracked his shoulders. He opened his mouth wider, leaning forward again, allowing more of the length to press into the抗拒 cavity of his mouth. It hit the back of his throat immediately. His body seized, convulsing as he gagged violently, his eyes squeezing shut against the involuntary spasms.
“Look at that,” Sarah cooed, moving closer on her knees. She was right beside him now, her perfume mingling with the sweat and salt in the air. She studied his strained face, his stretched lips. “His throat just won’t open for it. It’s like his own body is rejecting the idea. It’s physically rejecting him.”
“It’s because he’s a pretender,” Jennifer said, her hand stroking Max’s thigh. “A little man playing a big man’s game. And losing. Deep throat it, Norman. I want to watch you disappear on it. I want to watch you choke.”
Norman, his senses drowning, made a last, desperate effort. He forced his head down, taking another impossible inch. The thick crown shoved against the tight ring of his throat. His airway closed. Panic, raw and animal, flashed through his nervous system as he gagged, retched, and pulled away, gasping for air, drool and tears cascading down his neck and chest. He hunched over, trembling, the sounds coming from him were wet, broken, and utterly abject.
The two women watched him, their arousal a quiet hum in the silent room. Max looked down at him, then over to Jennifer, and shrugged as if to say, What did you expect?
Jennifer’s smile was a slow, complete thing. “There it is,” she said softly, to Sarah, to the room, to the universe. “The real thing. Not a trope. Not a cliché. Just a broken man proving his wife right.”
