Trainee Addie (37F) is at basic training and her husband Tim (29M) is a Sergeant back at home. Her Drill Sergeant makes her an offer she can’t refuse and some sexual activity happens.

Chapter 1: Introduction

This wasn't the first time Addie had jumped out of her comfort zone in pursuit of something better. She had left small-town Tennessee, packed up just about everything she owned and driven straight to the heart of Los Angeles, in the hopes of finding the kind of fulfillment that had eluded her in Clarksville.

And she did.

Addie had found success in LA; she was happy, confident and thriving in her career. That was until she met Tim, a charming and smooth-talking businessman, whom she had fallen deeply in love with. Within months, they got married, and Addie hoped for a contented, peaceful life with him. But, life had other plans.

So here she was, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by strangers, and facing challenges that pushed her to her limits.

Addie was trying her best to keep up with the relentless pace of basic training, but the truth was, she was struggling to keep her head above the water. And the Drill Sergeant knew it.

A tall, bulky man in his forties, the Drill Sergeant had been through hell and back in his military career. With a stern face and powerful frame, he was the epitome of a hardened, grizzled soldier. His gaze could pierce through solid steel, or so it seemed to Addie.

He didn't call out her name; Addie had yet to learn her drill number, and it didn't feel right to ask. The Drill Sergeant marched up and down the row, his eyes scanning the new recruits with scrutiny. Suddenly, his cold, steely appraisal lingered on Addie for a moment too long.

"Slow down, Recruit!" he bellowed, his voice echoing across the barracks, punctuating the air with a thunderous crack.

The recruits before him, including Addie, froze in fear. She was an army soldier in training, but the sharp edge of his words still terrified her.

Addie tried to step up her pace, but the hard ground beneath her seemed to rise and conspire against her. Every step felt like she was forging through quicksand, the weight of the combat boots dragging her down to her knees.

"Son of a-" she muttered under her breath, frustration creeping into every syllable.

She glanced at the Drill Sergeant, expecting him to admonish her for the slip of tongue. But he didn't. Instead, she caught a hint of a grin on his otherwise stone-cold face.

"Keep pushing, Recruit! But, maybe take a break first. Why don't we have a little chat?"

Addie nodded, unsure if she should trust the seemingly genuine concern in the Drill Sergeant's voice. They stepped away from the rest of the recruits, a momentary solitude in the midst of chaos.

The Drill Sergeant leaned in, his voice low and confidential, as if to share a secret with her. "You know, Recruit, I have a proposition for you."

Addie raised an eyebrow, surprised at the unexpected turn of the conversation. A proposition? From the Drill Sergeant no less. "What kind of proposition, Drill Sergeant?"

His tone was casual, his voice betraying a warmth he never let the other recruits see.

Addie's mind raced with possibilities. It couldn't be what she thought it was, could it? Was this Drill Sergeant truly suggesting something inappropriate or was she misinterpreting his words? It wasn't the first time she had been caught off guard by someone's intentions. It wasn't Tim, she reminded herself, shaking off the peaks of anger and disappointment that threatened to consume her thoughts.

She decided to play along, enough to gather more information but not so far as to compromise herself or her career.

Addie hesitated before responding, "I-I'm not sure I understand, Drill Sergeant."

The Drill Sergeant's expression turned serious. He narrowed his gaze and moved in closer. "Listen carefully: If you show me some cooperation, make things easier on yourself here, I can make things a little more...bearable for you. Understand?"

Addie knew what he was insinuating, and she felt a sick familiarity wash over her. The suggestive tone in his voice sent shivers down her spine, but she refused to let her fear show.

"I appreciate your concern, Drill Sergeant, but I came here to serve my country, not to make deals with my commanding officer."

The Drill Sergeant chuckled, his humor brusque and belittling. "Ah, the noble instinct, Recruit, but remember, this is the army, not some civilian venture. Here, cooperation is the key to survival."

Addie clenched her fists, her hands hidden inside the rough, itchy fabric of her uniform gloves. "I sense a lack of trust in my abilities, Drill Sergeant.

I can make it through Basic Training without help." Addie's voice was firm. She couldn't afford to break under pressure from her commanding officer. She had to make it known that she couldn't be manipulated.

A sly grin appeared on the Drill Sergeant's face, revealing he was enjoying their back-and-forth. "Alright, Recruit. I see your spirit. Push through.

Prove him wrong.

Those were the words that Addie whispered to herself as she marched back to her squad after her interaction with the Drill Sergeant. She could see it in his eyes—the insinuation, theция, the lewd smile that crept its way onto his face. Addie knew better than to engage with such behavior; she would not be swayed by the promises of preferential treatment.

Back in her barn-like barracks, Addie collapsed onto her bunk, her breath coming in ragged gasps. She had barely made it through the afternoon's training session.
