Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Outside, things looked different too. All the plants seemed larger than usual, and most of them hadn't bloomed yet. The weather was strange this year. Early spring brought snow followed by scorching heat, and then back again. It was like the world was trying to decide if it was autumn still or winter yet. But whatever the weather, it was beautiful.That's really what trees are: living sculptures sculpted by nature herself. Each leaf, each branch, each twig...they're all works of art. And when you add the color of the flowers that grow on their branches, it makes for a sight that cannot be described in words but must be seen to be believed.
