Chapter 2: The Prop and the Promise
The morning sun sliced through the sheer linen drapes, turning the floating dust into gold. Aidan stood at the foot of the bed, the scene from the night before etched into the very air. The sheets were still crumpled in a particular pattern, a topography of their encounter.
Freya was already there, perched on a chaise lounge by the window. She wore a simple white tank top and black leggings, her hair in a severe bun. She looked less like a deity and more like a choreographer preparing for a demanding rehearsal. On the glass coffee table between them sat two objects: a harness of supple black leather, and a butt plug, its base a flawless, teardrop-shaped crystal that caught the light.“Good. You’re punctual.” She didn’t look up from the tablet in her hands.“Sit.”
He sat on the edge of the bed, facing her. The leather of the harness gleamed.
“Today we move from theory to practical application,” she began, her tone clipped, professional.“The fantasy is specific. It involves restraint, a degree of… objectification. And a particular prop.” She finally glanced at him, her green eyes cool. “The harness is for you. The plug is for me.”
Aidan kept his expression neutral, but his mind cataloged the items with a sort of detached precision. The harness was clearly custom, with reinforced D-rings. The plug was sizeable, elegant in its cruelty.
“The fantasy,” she continued, placing the tablet aside, “requires me to be blindfolded. On my knees. Arms secured behind my back. You will be behind me.You will use the plug to prepare me. Then you will take me.Doggy style.Hard. Until you finish inside.” She said it like she was reading a grocery list.“The parameters are non-negotiable. The position, the order of operations, the… conclusion. Do you understand the assignment?”
“Yes.”
“Any questions?”
He had a hundred.Instead, he asked the most practical one. “Safeword?”
A flicker of something—approval?—crossed her face.“I don’t use them. I will give direct instructions if necessary.‘Stop’ means stop.‘Slower’ means slower. Context is key.” She stood, picking up the crystal plug. It looked even larger in her slender hand.“Your first instruction is to prepare me.Orally.Then digitally. You may use your hands for this part. You will insert this. Then you will put on the harness.”
She walked to the bed, placing the plug on the silk. Then, with that same unnerving grace, she stripped off her tank top and leggings. She produced a simple black silk blindfold from the pocket of her discarded pants.“Help me with this.”
Aidan rose.He took the blindfold. His fingers brushed her temple as he tied it, feeling the fine bone structure beneath her skin. She inhaled sharply at the contact. He could see her pupils dilate behind the silk, her lips part slightly.“On the bed.On your knees,” he said, his voice lower than he intended. It wasn’t a question.
She complied, moving with a fluid obedience that felt like another layer of performance. She knelt in the center of the bed, her back to him, her spine a graceful curve. She reached behind and clasped her own wrists, a self-imposed restraint.
The sunlight traced the notches of her vertebrae, the perfect arcs of her shoulders. The scent of jasmine was stronger now, mixed with her own clean sweat.Aidan didn’t rush. He circled the bed, observing her.The blindfold changed everything. The invulnerable Freya Vance was gone. Here was a woman rendered purely sensation, waiting. He saw the fine tremor in her calves.
He knelt behind her. He started not with his mouth, but with his hands, tracing the dip of her waist, the swell of her hips. She shuddered. He learned her geography with a tactician’s care. Then he leaned in.His tongue found her from behind, a slow, broad stroke. She gasped, her fingers tightening around her own wrists. He worked her with a focused intensity, the same concentration he’d apply to disarming a complex mechanism.Listen.React. The taste of her, the sounds she made—soft, punched-out breaths—were his feedback.
When she was wet and shaking, he slid a finger inside her.She was tight. He crooked it, searching. Her back arched violently, a silent cry caught in her throat.There. He added a second finger, stretching her slowly, feeling her body resist then accept.
“Now,” she breathed, the word strained.“The plug.”
He reached for the crystal. It was cool, heavy. He warmed it for a moment in his palm before pressing the lubricated tip against her. He applied pressure, steady and inexorable.
She keened, a high, thin sound, as the widest part stretched her. Then it slid home, the crystal base settling snug against her skin. She collapsed onto her forearms, her forehead against the silk, breathing ragged.Aidan stood. His own arousal was a demanding, uncomfortable tightness in his trousers. He picked up the harness. It was intricately buckled. He figured it out quickly, stepping into the leg loops, tightening the straps around his waist and thighs. It held him firmly, almost mechanically. He freed himself from his trousers, the cool air a shock, and secured himself through the provided ring. The fit was snug, assertive.
He returned to the bed, kneeling behind her again. The leather creaked softly.
She sensed his presence, the new dynamic of it.“Don’t say a word,” she whispered, her voice raw. “Just do it.”
He guided himself with one hand, positioning the head at her entrance. The crystal plug beneath pressed against him through the thin barrier of flesh. He pushed forward.
Her breath hitched. She was still tight, the plug creating a delicious, impossible fullness. He sank into her slowly, a millimeter at a time, until he was fully sheathed. She was molten heat and velvet friction. He held there, letting them both adjust. Her whole body was trembling.
“Now,” she commanded, her voice a mix of desperation and authority.“Hard.Don’t stop. Don’t be gentle.”
He obeyed.
He set a punishing rhythm, each thrust driving her forward on the bed, the sound of skin on skin, of leather straining, filling the sunlit room. The blindfold soaked through with silent tears he would never mention. Her cries were muffled by the sheets, coming in broken gasps with each deep, bottoming stroke.
He lost himself in the physicality of it, in the sheer obedience to her command. His hands gripped her hips, sure to leave bruises. His world narrowed to the feel of her around him, to the ragged sound of her breathing, to the crystal pressing against him with every movement. When her climax hit, it was a silent, seismic event. Her body locked, then convulsed around him in a series of relentless, crushing waves. The sensation tore his control from him.He followed, his own release a sharp, blinding punch of pleasure. He drove into her one last, final time, spilling deep inside as she’d demanded, his forehead dropping between her shoulder blades as he rode the last of his own tremors.
For long minutes, the only sound was their ragged breathing and the distant hum of the city.
Slowly, carefully, he pulled out and collapsed beside her.He fumbled with the harness buckles, his fingers clumsy.
Freya reached up and pulled the blindfold off. Her eyes were swollen, her mascara smudged. She looked ravaged, real in a way he hadn’t seen before. She didn’t look at him.She stared at the ceiling, catching her breath.
“You followed instructions,” she said finally, her voice hoarse.
“It’s what you pay me for.”
She turned her head on the pillow. Her green eyes, now darkened and vulnerable, searched his face. “No,” she said quietly. “That part… you did for free.”
She rolled onto her side, turning her back to him, drawing her knees up.The crystal plug still caught the light. “You can go.I have a photoshoot at three. Bring the car around at two-thirty.”
Aidan gathered the harness, his clothes. He paused at the door, looking back at the figure curled on the vast bed.She seemed smaller now. The performance was over, and what was left in its wake felt dangerously close to something neither of them had agreed to.
He closed the door softly, the taste of her still on his lips, the scent of sex and jasmine clinging to him. In the silent hallway, the leather harness hanging from his hand felt less like a prop and more like evidence.
