Chapter 5: Resolution
It's been two days since I became a short alien women's property. I should hate myself for giving in so easily, but the truth is, I don't. I'm not sure I ever really had a choice. From the moment I saw her, I was drawn to her like a moth to a flame. And now, I'm caught, helpless, and strangely… content.
I'm still getting used to the collar around my neck, but it's becoming a part of me. The runes pulse with a faint energy, humming softly like a lullaby. Sometimes, I catch myself reaching for it, tracing the intricate designs with my fingers. It's almost like a comfort, a reminder of where I belong. Of who I belong to.
The forest is a live with the distant sounds of exotic insects and gregarious avian creatures. The sun is high and the trees provide a nice shade for us as we walk.
Zylara's voice interrupted my thoughts, her tendrils stroking my hair as she murmured, *"You're deep in thought, pet. Your emotions feel chaotic, through our bond. Care to share what's on your mind?"*
I shrugged, trying to hide my embarrassment. *"Just... trying to get used to everything, Mistress. It's... a lot to process."*
Zylara's fingers traced the line of my jaw, her touch gentle yet possessive. *"I know, pet. But you're doing wonderfully. You're adapting faster than I expected. That pleases me."* Zylara's voice was a contented purr, her tendrils gently stroking my cheek. A soft click accompanied the movement as the collar around my neck pulsed with a soothing warmth. I could feel her warm appreciation through our bond. I couldn't help but lean into her touch, craving more of her approval.
*"Thank you, Mistress."* I whispered, the words feeling right on my lips. She smiled, her red eyes softening as she looked down at me.
*"You're welcome, pet. Now, let's get these plant specimens collected before something decides to have us for lunch."* Zylara said, her voice dripping with amusement as she gestured towards the dense undergrowth surrounding us.
I nodded, my discomfort forgotten for the moment as I focused on the task at hand. The forest really was a marvel, the air thick with the scent of strange, exotic blooms, and the hum of unseen creatures. The towering trees stretched towards the sky, their trunks twisted with age, their bark like polished metal. Luminescent vines hung like ropes from their branches, casting an ethereal glow over everything.
I knelt down, carefully gathering samples of the alien flora.
My fingers brushed against the iridescent leaves, their texture foreign yet familiar under my touch. The air was thick with the scent of exotic blooms, each one more intoxicating than the last. A distant hum filled the air, the sound of unseen creatures going about their day.
As I worked, I could feel Zylara’s gaze on me, her presence a constant hum at the edge of my awareness. She stood a few feet away, her small, curvy form silhouetted against the dappled sunlight filtering through the canopy above. Her tendrils swayed gently, as if tasting the air, their tips brushing against the foliage around her.
She was a predator, patient and observant, her every movement fluid and graceful. It was a stark contrast to my own clumsy efforts as I knelt in the undergrowth, my fingers fumbling with the delicate tendrils of a particularly interesting specimen.
*"Careful, Max,"* Zylara chided softly, her voice a warm purr in my mind. *"You wouldn't want to damage the sample."*
I looked up at her, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "Sorry, Mistress."
She smiled, a soft curve of her lips that seemed to light up her entire face. *"You're better with test tubes and computer terminals than clippers and shovels. I'll admit, I'm enjoying watching you struggle a bit."* Zylara's thought was playful, her red eyes sparkling with amusement.
I chuckled, squinting up at her through the dappled sunlight. "I'm not exactly a natural at this, Mistress." I said, brushing a strand of messy hair out of my face. "But I... I'm glad you're here, watching my back. You're better at this outdoor... stuff."
*"That's why we make a good pair."* Zylara replied, her voice softening. *"I'll keep you safe. Take your time and focus on your work. You’ll get the hang of it eventually.”* Zylara’s voice remained warm, patient, and encouraging, her tendrils gently caressing my shoulder as if to reinforce her words.
I nodded, turning my attention back to the plant specimen. My fingers traced the intricate patterns of the leaves, marveling at the alien biology before me. Zylara was right. This world was incredible, and I was honored to have the opportunity to study it. The humidity of the forest clung to my skin, dampening my hair and making the collar around my neck feel heavier. But even that was starting to feel normal.
What wasn't normal, however, was the sudden sensation of cold steel against my neck, a weight I had almost forgotten about until now. Then, I heard Glara's sharp intake of breath. I turned to see her standing at the edge of the clearing, her eyes wide with shock. Behind her, the forest hummed with life, the distant twitter of creatures and the rustle of leaves a stark contrast to the sudden tension in the air.
*"Max?!"* she exclaimed, her thoughts radiating molten confusion. Her eyes locked onto the collar encircling my neck. *"What is this?"* Her telepathic question a growling challenge, her red eyes narrowing as she took a step closer, her hand reaching for the collar as if to examine it. I shrank back, my body tensing instinctively. Zylara, sensing my discomfort, stepped in front of me, her tendrils flaring out in a protective stance.
Her voice was a low growl in my mind, *"Stay back, Glara."*
Glara’s eyes flashed with anger, her hands curling into fists. *"You bonded this male?!"*
Zylara's tendrils swayed menacingly, her voice a hiss. *"My slave is non of your concern, Glara. He is my property and I will not see him harmed!"*
Glara's face darkened with fury. *"He is a human male. You can't own one of his kind. Remove that collar, Zylara."* Glara's voice was a low growl, her eyes locked onto the collar around my neck, her hands trembling with suppressed anger.
Zylara's tendrils flicked out, her voice a dangerous purr. *"You overstep your bounds, Glara. Max is mine. He chose this path willingly. He submitted to me. He wears my collar."*
Glara's eyes narrowed, her fingers clenching into fists. *"Don't be a fool.
Human males are far too unpredictable. They're not like us."* Glara snapped. *"You know the risks. Their stubbornness and defiance... it's in their nature. You can't tame that, Zylara."*
Zylara’s tendrils coiled around her own wrists, her stance defensive but not aggressive. *"I'm well aware of the risks, Glara. But I trust my instincts, and I trust Max."* Her voice was firm, her red eyes unyielding.
*"He chose this path willingly, and I accept his surrender. Our bond grows stronger with each passing day. I will not release him."*
Glara scoffed, her gaze flicking from Zylara to me, her disbelief palpable. *"You think that collar can control a human male's will? You're playing a dangerous game, Zylara. You underestimate them."*
Zylara's tendrils twitched, her gaze never leaving Glara's. *"And you underestimate my Max. He is strong, but he also knows when to yield. This is not a game to us, Glara. This is a life we have chosen to share."* Zylara's voice was firm, her tendrils swaying gently, a subtle display of her power.
Glara's eyes flicked to me, her gaze raking over my body, lingering on the collar around my neck. *"Fine, Zylara. Then you won't mind if I test him? If he's as submissive as you claim, he wont mind if I dominate him a bit. Let's see if that human stubbornness can withstand my will."* Glara's voice was as much a challenge as it was a statement. She crossed her arms, her eyes locked onto mine, a smirk playing on her lips.
Zylara’s tendrils tightened around my neck, her grip firm yet gentle. *"If you wish to test him, Glara, I will allow it. But remember that he is mine. I will not have you harm him."* Her voice was a velvet whip, her red eyes burning into Glara’s, her stance protective yet confident.
I felt Glara’s mind invade my own, a sharp intrusion that made my head throb. Her will was a storm, overwhelming me, demanding my submission. I wanted to resist, to push her out, but my Mistress has allowed this woman to dominate me. I was completely unable to act against her wishes. If Mistress want me to be dominated by Glara, I'd have to let her in, no mater how much I hated the idea. Panic surged within me, but I lowered my defenses and allowed her in.
"*Zylara's grip on me tightened, her tendrils wrapping around my arms, grounding me, anchoring me to her. I could feel her presence, a beacon of strength in the chaos of Glara's invasion. Her voice echoed in my mind, firm and commanding,
