Chapter 3: Chapter 3

"I am Alura, and I want to live in peace. And what do you want?"

"I want to go home."

"And where is home?" Alura asked

" Jeddah,' that's where I used to live before the war. With my parents, before we were separated by the events of the Clone Wars. And what do you intend to do with that information?"

"Help you, as far as I can. Which isn't much." Alura said, "Our ship crashed and the Separatist fight we were fighting blew up to avoid capture, and we are the only only survivors of our unit. How intact is the ship you came here?"

"Badly. I have tried to fix what I could, but I don't know enough about how to repair a ship, or if it possible to repair after two years stranded here." the girl said, shaking her head.

"Six?" Alura asked, "I know some things about repairs, but probably not enough, you?"

"If the repairs aren't too complex, maybe I could repair it. I did my rotation in the fighter bays and in the engineering room, like all the Clone Troopers." Six said, "Maybe, it depends on the state it is. What ship it was?"

"A Corellian light freighter, I was paying my passage back to Jeddah by helping with the freight, and trying to get the captain not to lose the ship in a thing that looked good." Javali said with a hint of bitterness in her voice.

"Too good to be true, and it ended to be pirates or Hutts or pirate Hutts." Alura said with a knowing tone, remembering several incidents she had been involved with Master Kine before the Clone Wars.

"Pretty much. We jumped pretty much blind, and ended here. Captain Korik... didn't survive the crash."Javali said, sighing, "I don't know what I would do without him. He was my father figure, you know?"

"I understand." Alura said, "But you are not alone. I am here, and so is Six, and if we can fix your ship, we'll carry you to your family."

"I'll guide you to the ship, and you'll judge for yourselves." Javali said.

They walked for half an hour in the forest until they reached something big covered by a tarp, once Javali removed the tarp so they could see the ship. It didn't look that bad from outside, though there was some scrapes and burns.
