Maylee sat at her desk, staring at the computer screen in front of her. She had spent the last two hours trying to crack a very difficult coding assignment. The code was hurting her head and the world around her felt like it didn't exist anymore.Everything seemed faded. Her eyes were burning from all the staring. The colors seemed faded. The code was fading.
She blinked. "Stop staring! Either take a break or code," her best friend Lyla yelled from across the room. "You're gonna pass out if you don't stop looking at that screen!"
